Taz and Miko are fine. I'm trying to get in touch with Laura to see how long I should keep her on the clavamox and steroid. I'm afraid if I stop, she'll stop eating again. Right now she's as good as ever she was. Both those girls are smart. Miko goes all the way under the covers, and Taz goes under, too, but she has to have her head sticking out. She is truly a nosy female!!!!!!!!! |

She is a precious little girl that doesn't leave my side when I am home. She is super smart and brings you toys to throw so she can bring them back. She comes when you call and is like no other cat I have ever had. We just love her. Unfortunately she has breast cancer. We found it real early but and she has had two surgeries to remove two different tumors. She is still doing good but is becoming more loving if that is possible. | Comments: | I have just received my ebony oriental shorthair from the Henslee's. His name is Hapi, and he is just wonderful. He is one of the most confindent little fellows, I have ever met. He walked right in, after a long journey via plane and car to my home, and took over. What a great breeder and I would recommend your cats to anyone, that is interested in the orientals. This family really takes the time to make sure that their babies are well socialized and ready for anything before sending them to you. Best of luck with your cattery and your future babies. | Comments: | I am the former "owner" of a modern-style female seal-point Siamese. I adopted her from the next door neighbors, when she was 5 1/2 years of age. She had a mesmerizing personality, and we quickly became totally devoted to each other. Within 18 months, she was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, and despite my best efforts, she was gone 2 months later. She was just over 7 years of age at her death. I was, and still am, devastated.
Through research and contacts, I have come to understand that the modern-style Siamese, as a breed, typically have these amazing personalities and unfortunately short life spans. This research and these contacts have allowed me to understand that Oriental Shorthairs have the same temperaments as modern Siamese, but without the fragility. So, I hope someday to "adopt" a young retired adult. I am not a breeder. I am strictly looking for a cat with this devoted, affectionate personality - a cat that I can love and one that will love me. |
