Spring Reunion – April 16-17, 2010 DATE: Friday and Saturday, April 16-17, 2010 PLACE: Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Homosassa Springs, FL Directions: I-75 to Wildwood exit (SR 44); go west to Inverness. Turn onto County Road 490 and take to US 19 in Homosassa Springs. Homosassa Springs is 75 miles north of Tampa on U.S. 19 and 90 miles northwest of Orlando. TIME: Friday – Supper – Crackers in Crystal River (Info to follow) Saturday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. - Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park Saturday – Supper at Riverside Crab House in Homosassa Springs at 7:00 p.m. (Info to follow) EVENT: Our Spring Reunion for ALL graduates of Hialeah High School, Hialeah, FL, and their friends and family. | Comments: | I ATTENDED HIALEAH SCHOOLS FROM THE FIRST GRADE TO GRADUATION IN 1957. WENT TO PIEDMONT COLLEGE ON A BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP WITH WAYNE GARRICK. TRANSFERED TO UNIV OF MIAMI, DROPPED OUT AND JOINED THE ARMY FOR 3 YEARS. FINALLY GRADUATED FROM U OF M. BECAME A C.P.A., MOVED TO OCALA IN LATE 1969 AND STILL THERE. GOT MARRIED FOR THE 4TH TIME 12/30/08 TO SUSAN MY COMPANION FOR THE LAST 7 1/2 YEARS. HAVE 4 KIDS, STEVEN 46,RANDY 40,ANGIE 38, AND BRIAN 17. I attended HJH from 1952-1954 on to HHS until 3 weeks into the 12th grade. Due to parents divorce transferred to Miami High. I am a Thoroughbred though. Have been responsible for the 50th reunion and helped with the 51st both in Kissimmee. Hope to spend time looking through everyone's yearbook. Hope that the 1958 50th Reunion is just perfect. |
