He loved it today out in the snow we do let him outside now we have moved it is very quite here all our neighbours love him.The only thing with him going outside his hair is harder to manage he dosen't enjoy having it done! Fonzy now has a new member to his family along with our Britsh shorthair Izabel we have a puppy Shih tzu Frankie they seem to get on well. | Comments: | My Forest Cat is now 8 yrs old, as beautiful today as he was the day I received him. Holly is an outdoor activist who enjoys camping. He went for a walk last camping season in Michigan and was missing for 6 weeks only to come home after I left a towel I had dried my hair with in his cat carrier in the park. He lost around 5 lbs and was quite skinny but otherwise healthy, confirmed by the doc. He seems to be devoted to me and has always followed me every where I go. He can't stand to be away from me and many times when I return from work he is by the front door or laying on my pillow awaiting my return. Forest Cats are the best pet you can have!! |

| Comments: | I absolutely loved the pictures of your Norwegian Forest Cats. I'm a cat lover - but not a breeder. We used to have a norwegian forest cat named Ben. He was lovely and everyone used to call him fat cat, he was beautiful. He was a bit of a grouch through but we loved him all the same. He looked after Fluffy, our blue chincilla kitten when we first got her and Jazmine our silver spotted tabby like they were he's own. He was like some sort of guru. Sadly, the year before last year in Febuary, he was poisoned by next door and his kidneys failed. We loved him very much and had to put him down from his suffering. He was burried out in the rose garden were he used to lay in the sun. He was one of our best cats ever, we've been considering getting a norwegian forest cat, maybe a tabby/ginger looking one. There very beautiful cats. I loved your site and your pictures and wish you luck with your cattery. |

I am a total cat lover (not breeder) and took great delight in reading your philosophy on breeding - especially letting nature take its course! (As it should!) I must confess I had never heard of the NFC breed before I saw your site but have to now say what fantastic creatures they are - and just look at those tails!. I currently have just two "moggies" who let me live in the same house as them - Maisie is our white&black little DSH girl who's just coming upto 10 years old (we call her Mrs Miggins as she's a fat bundle who regularly eats "all the pies") then we have my boy who is "officially" called Taylor -a balck&white DSH (half Burmese) who'll be 12 this year - we call him Boy or Mr B.......
