We had just been married and I was showing her a power line in Plymouth where I used to shoot, and a Policeman drove up, and said Hello. After a brief conversation with him about all of the shooters that have been prosecuted for shooting on Power Plant land. I had a new idea planted in my mind. Tara said. "Join a club"I looked around at some near my home and someone told me about Holbrook. It's not near my home, but I liked what I saw and who I met. |

| Comments: | Skeet Field issues over the last 3 to 4 years has made me look into other Clubs that have a operating Skeet Field. As a memeber and a Charter Memeber for many years I'm sorry to say I letting my memebership expire do to the Clubs lack and efforts to fix / address the Skeet Field issues.
I must say I had met many very good people the years I enjoyed shooting in Holbrook and I wish you all the very best. Keep up the shooting and Club functions going as I will in Taunton and Fall River Clubs! Best Wishes Brian T Worthley :-) |

I'm a grandson of the late Tom May and I've heard about the Tom May room at the club, but have yet to see it. I do remember all the times when I was a young child, however, when my grandpa would take me down to the club for the christmas parties and I'd sit on santa's lap, etc. I always loved going to the club for christmas and to watch my grandpa shoot. At the time, I liked to use the clay pigeons as frisbees, but now that I am older, I hope to get my FID and maybe head over to shoot there myself and hopefully get to see the room dedicated to my grandfather. The clubhouse sure doesn't look like the one I left behind at the age of 14! Can any of you remember the Moose on the wall, or the soda cooler that kept the bottles in water? | Comments: | Hello All. Great to see club merchandise being offered,as the jackets & sweatshirts. Would like to purchase both. Today is Memorial Day '06. Have to visit a couple freinds that did'nt make it home. Seems the ATA had the trap ranges for this past weekend. May take a ride over the club, and see if anyone is out & about. Have'nt been by in a while, my work as a lineman / splicer keeps me going 6-7 days a week. But I know I'm a member of one of the best clubs around. Stay safe all.

What a fun night with the 25 yard bench rest shoot and also the string shoot. I don't even mind being beaten by a 12 year old JR. rifle team shooter. Thats what I get for letting people use my guns. My guns took 1st 2nd and third the only problem I wasn't shooting them. A good time was had by all!!!
