My neighbor has a Cavalier Spaniel and I have fallen in love with him. I have researched the breed and believe a Cavalier would be the perfect fit for our family. I am concerned about finding a responsible breeder. We would not be showing the dog. He/she would be a pet only. | Comments: | We had a Portuguese Water Dog that lived to almost 15 years, and a Lhasa Apso who also lived to be about 14 1/2 years old. We were very sad when we lost our Lhasa about a year and a half ago. We lost our Porti a couple years before that. We are wanting to buy another dog. We miss having dogs in our lives. We are very responsible pet owners. We would like to have another small dog, and this breed sounds very nice. Our Lhasa was a very sweet dog too, but needed to be groomed about every four weeks. We want a similar dog, that we can groom ourselves. We have an RV, and want a small dog that we can travel with as a companion. Call me at 408-307-9401 (cell). A dear friend in Seattle who breeds Papillons referred us to you. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed raising and loving our two beautiful and special Cavaliers. They have both been the love of our lives! Unfortunately, we lost our precious boy last year at age 11 from MVD and are deeply heartbroken. Our 9 year old female was just recently diagnosed with Stage 3 MVD. It is time to get another baby to raise and love! We are both blessed to work from home which is so wonderful for us and ideal for any furry baby joining our very loving family. Our 9 year old Maisie (gorgeous show-dog quality Blenheim) is very lonesome for a sister or brother. She is somewhat bossy and will need a very calm and somewhat submissive companion. Maisie is a Certified Pet Therapy dog and we are so proud of her and the contribution she makes to the elderly. Could you please email us and let us know when your next litter is scheduled or if you have any puppies at this time that you feel would be appropriate for our needs?
