| Comments: | AM IN "LOVE" with this breed/ have been doing research. many hours, and months on finding the best of dogs, breeders and hopefully the opportunity to become a loving and proud owner of one or more of these dogs. I have always been a dog owner all of my adult life steadily for the past 35 yrs.......have always maintained at least 2 dogs in my home so they would have each other as well as my family......My love Misha, a Yorkie, recently passed on and also I lost my Maltese to old age within the last year and have one 5 yr old Yorkie at home with me who is lonely for another companion. I have been an RN for the past 20+ years, mostly in case management of Home Health and specialized in Oncology (cancer patients) ....I am now retired since May of 2011 and have more time to enjoy my companions who have always gone with me everywhere. I live on 1/3 of an acre in a one story home and am now agressively searching for my cavalier (s). I was so excited to search out your site because you are so close to Reno, Nv for me because I have also found 2 other breeders that I was interested in which are much further away in Oregon..,...Don't get me wrong I have done serious research with AKC & different Cavalier associations and clubs so please do not think that I am just interested in you because you live in Pleasanton, believe me I have seen many sites in California which I would not touch! I have been mostly wanting a Blenheim but have also fallen in love with all of them and wouldn't mind a tri-colored one either. I use to think I wanted a female, but it really doesn't even matter to me what sex the puppy will be, it just has be one that will capture my heart (which will probably be a hard task). I have always had at least 2 dogs at the sametime so they would be company for each other as well as for me. I am a newly retired RN, live in Reno,NV and have had 2 of my loved pets pass away (old age) in past year and I have one small, very affectionate Yorkie that loves all other dogs, left at home with me who is very lonely and I have always dreamed of a cavalier and now I am desperately wanting to become the happy owner of one. I have been doing my homework about this breed for many years & have spent the last 2 mos finding the best of the best breeders as far as Oregon, where I was willing to go the get a cavalier and have now been also looking for responsible breeders closer to home who breed healthy fine cavaliers. I would be very interested to find out when you may have some puppies and I would of course come to Pleasanton to meet with you. I would really love to get 2 cavaliers but may have to wait to get 2nd one at a later time, partially due to monetary reasons at this time. I was first introduced to this breed as pet therapy dogs at Shriner Children's hospital in Sacramento,CA., where I have worked as a pediatric nurse for 19 years. Over the past year I have spoken to it's owner and made numerous inquires as well as researched the breed. My 10 year old daughter and I are convinced this is the appropriate breed for our lifestyle. Over the past year I have watched my daughter mature into a very responsible, compassionate and attentive individual.
