| Comments: | Your Cavaliers are beautiful, and I can tell they are lovely inside and out. We lost our Cavalier, Emma, this summer to epilepsy at age 7. She also had hip dysplacia from birth. Emma was from a well-known breeder who, unfortunately, did not test for hips. We loved Emma unconditionally, but her life was a difficult one. Happily, we also have a 7-year-old Cavalier, Lily, who we adore. Emma was blenheim and so is Lily. We are not yet ready to add another Cavalier to our home, but I always surf websites, and will definitely bookmark yours! I'm so happy you health-test! |

I was given your name by Mary McHenry as someone to contact regarding the possibility of adopting a Cavalier puppy. I live in Portola Valley(near Palo Alto) with my husband and 15 yr old daughter and 7 year old son. We also have a sweet 12 yr old yellow lab named Buckwheat. I have been thinking about adopting a Cavalier for a number of years, and finally feel that this is the perfect timing. I would like to bring a puppy home at the end of August or beginning of September once we have returned from our summer vacations and activities. I feel like then I will be able to devote myself to caring for a puppy. My first choice would be a Blenheim and my second choice would be a Tricolor puppy. I would prefer a girl, but would consider a boy. I also would prefer a puppy on the larger scale of the norm for Cavaliers. Please let me know if I can provide you with any further information. What a beautiful dog he is. I have long term plans to find a Cavalier of my own. (I have an ancient Ratt Terrier..who when he chases his final butterfly..)He is 13 and really slowing down. I have 2 other dogs..a 7 year old male (neutered)Labrador..my husband duck hunts..and the half sister to the old Ratt who is 5 and spayed. Interesting about Bruce Schultz - I well remember that lovely and sometimes very confused bloodhound. Christopher was no handler ! - he fell over the poor dog a couple of times. I was in "Best in Show" with my Cavalier, Bobby (Can/Am.Ch.Elvenhome Boykinia) but we were very much bit players & were cut out of the final version. |

My name is Sophia and my husband and I are looking for a high quality, health tested cavalier puppy from a reputable breeder. We live in Castro Valley, CA and we fell in love with these adorable puppies when we began looking for a pet. Our home has a nice big fenced yard. Our kids are grown up and I no longer work; after a visit to a breeder the other day, I am convinced more than ever that the cavalier is the perfect companion for me. Because the whole family is head over heels with these babies, we are thinking about getting a breeding quality male cavalier puppy, preferably a tri colored or blenheim from champion bloodlines to use as a stud with for a reputable breeder and thus get more of these adorable puppies for the rest of the family.
