Jordan Rautiola Thursday, November 4th 2010 - 12:21:39 AM vdriveboater@yahoo.com I was in the Madison area today for the first time (on business), and as I drove out of town on 421 I saw the ARMY sign and was amazed at how large the property was (and miles of fence). That prompted me to research this on the internet and I found your website. Although it must have been an amazing and exciting place from the 40s through 60s, it's wonderful that it's now being preserved as a nature habitat. Maybe I'll plan a visit next summer on another trip to the area. I reside near Holland Michigan and cover seven states (WV to KS) for my job.

I can see me being an active member in the future. Bird watching is my favorite pass time as I have learned to identify almost all Indiana birds. There's nothing I enjoy more. This looks like a good program. Thank you.

We went to Old Timbers several times. I went out with our family and extended family members and had a great time! My Girl Scout troop also got to go out there at least once. We had the best time exploring, playing, eating smores! I'm glad to see someone has expressed an interest in preserving that beautiful place. My brother and I had also been wondering whether it would open to the public again.

I happened to be in Jefferson County visiting, and stopped by the office of Joe Robb, and he assisted me with my Membership. I elected to become a LIFETIME + print member. Thank you for the newsletter and reminding me of the organization. We visited OTL while there, GREAT JOB on the cleanup, maintenance. It was absolutely Sparkling!!!
