His son Thomas was born in Luzerne County, PA and Thomas had another son also named Absalom. This second son had a son named Major Case. Major had a son, David Absalom Case who was my great grandfather. David Absalom Case brought his branch of the family to Santa Barbara, California. |

GLOVER, who died at the age of 39 at sea on 23MAY1853 aboard SS Harriet Thompson in the Pacific Ocean. Rebecca and the captain were married 20APR1836 at the Southold Presbyterian Church and made their life in Sag Harbor. Their son Joseph Edgar GLOVER (1849-1892) made his way to Drawbridge, Dorchester, MD and married an Eastern Shore girl, Cornelia Ellen GRAY (1856-1932) of Gray's Island. Leonard Case became a Medical Doctor at some point before he died.I have a picture of James Leonard and his daughter, Nancy Helen who married my great-grandfather James Thomas Pulley. His name was Andrew Wood Case and he was born in 1874 and died in Bourbon Co, on April 18, 1961. he had sisters etta and kate?cate? and a brother Joe. Andrew was married to Mattie Bonta who was born in 1871 died on oct 8 1941 in Bourbon Co. They had two children Carl Oscar case and William Case. Carl was b. on March 11,1900 in Paris, Ky. and married Della Lee Hornback.They are my grandparents and moved to southern IN to raise their family. He was a construction worker. frustrating search..Strictly Internet, although I am working for a short time near a U.S.Archive in San Bruno, CA. My search started with my father Levi Freeman Case, born 1913 in Los Angeles. His SS-5 led me to his paranets, and then I'm stopped. my GF was born somewhere in Canada, and came to the US about 1891. He married Margaret Etta Spencer 1900 in Decatur,Wise,TX and 1900-1910 had Louella, Deward, Ida Mae and Hazel, then my father in Los Angeles, where they all settled. I have Margarets parents as Charles Edward Spencer and Sarah Percy Black, m:Apr 26, 1868, Hot Spring, Ark. Then I'm stumped. Almost failed Jr. English because I didn't have enough information to appease my teachers - they didn't think I'd tried hard enough - if they only knew! looking for Dr. James Leonard Case. We have been trying to get information on him and his daughter Helen Case-Pulley for ages. Seems we are the only ones researching this branch.
