| Comments: | My CASE line runs from William Solomon CASE through four HENRYs to Absalom CASE (b ca 1737, PA), Thomas CASE (b 1771 PA), Absalom CASE (b 1797, Luzerne County, PA), Major CASE (b 1825 PA), David Absalom CASE (b 1860 PA), Aaron Oliver Case (b 1889 PA), Henry Adrian Case (b 1913 PA).
The last HENRY is my father. In about 1914, David Absalom CASE moved his branch of the family from PA to Santa Barbara, CA, taking with him his son Aaron Oliver Case and Aaron's son (my father) HENRY and Henry's older brother David Pierce CASE. James went West, was selected as a captain in Brigham Young's party to Utah in 1847, has a passel of descendants in UT through his son Solomon Cowles Case. | Comments: | I have been researching my Case family on and off for 10years, I keep hitting blocks...I have gone back to my ggggrandpa, William Case, this is where I am blocked. My gggrandpa, Harvey was born in Northfield, Vt Nov. 1830, I have the Census record of 1830 stating that William was living there at that time. I am having trouble finding further info. Harvey moved to NH, by 1850 and that is where the rest of my family is from. I would appreciate any info or connections that you could make for me. I just found this site, so I am very excited to check it out. I have researched my Mom's side which is French-Canadian and I have almost all the lines back to France (over 5100 ancestors) so you can see why the Case family frustrates me. I am willing to share the info that I have. Thank you.
