Two are females and one male for breeder and and fainting weather as a pet. No of them have papers on them but I would like to have paper one with papers. | Comments: | thanks...I am a new pygmy goat owner...I inherited 2 3-year old girls....I am very concerned about their diet...can you suggest how I can get info. on this....I am hearing a lot about what not to eat....I got them some 4 way feed and they get about a half cup each in the morning and they get alfalfa hay twice a day...and lots of apple tree branches with little crab apples and some apricot branches....and that is all....they are in a third acre pen with nothing edible so I feed them.....I want to graze them in my yard...I got them collars and leashes but they so far won't budge to go out of the pen....they were a little down the road in a womans yard with lots of trees but she had to move them because of car damage.....so the little cuties are here and I want to take very good care of them and I know nothing...a real newbie...thanks for any info...we appreciate it...Marjorie |

I was wondering if you could give me a little information on how to raise pygmy goats properly? I just joined FFA and I have a little doe. Is it ok to inbreed goats becasuse she will be in with her brother and half brother. If that is not ok is there a way that i can tell if she comes into heat so i can get her seperated and breed her to another buck. I myself really don't want to inbreed them I want something else than gray because that is the most dominate color in her genes. He dad was gray. Thanks |

My husband and I are seriously looking for healthy pygmy goats. Would like some that are not as pricy. Mayby some one just has to many as we sometime did. Mayby someone would like to help us out? Would like them to be cae &tb free with papers saying so. I know it's alot to ask but we always tried to help young kids get started in goats for the future, with out costing alot. They don't have to be show quality as long as they are of breeding age. Would like acouple of does and a buck. What ever is available. Can some one help us? We live in NW Georgia. pygmies due to kidney infection he was 9 weeks old we watched for too much copper intake but apparently sweet feed is too much for the little males at a young age our breeder never let us know maybe she didn't know but if you are unaware I thought you would like to know not to feed sweetfeed to the males at the early stage of their lives.
