| Comments: | A few years back I read the premise for Hourglass and it sounded great, so I was waiting for it to come to reality. But nothing, then suddenly I get news that it has been repicked up, and has a company interested in it. I have relooked over the new web site and may I say, I think it is still great! There is so many possiblilties on where it can go and do. I think it could be one of the best series that has been done.

What a tremendously fun, sexy, and brilliantly creative project, one of the best ideas for a new TV series, Internet series via a web site, movie, books, anything just so long as it gets made type of thing that I have seen in a very long time. Whatever is required, just so long as those very wonderful people who dreamed all of this up will get everything they need to get Hourglass going and add more to what has already been started here. | Comments: | I was so sad to hear that Alex and Claudia won't be doing the leads now!! Finally, the show gets more of a real possibility of being made and now the people the characters were written for can't do it. It is really hard to come up with 2 other actresses strong and tough enough, yet sexy enough to do these awesome characters justice. I've been brainstorming in the Sci-Fi acting community, since it'd be cool to keep this show in the fam, ya know. And I thought of Andrea Thompson, Jeri Ryan, Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker. You might think I'm nuts to throw Amy in there, but judging by her performance in Season 5 of Angel, she's more than capable of a tougher charcater and can be quite sexy too. Eliza woud be perfect for a hot girl with some edge, but she's proven she has the heart for drama and the more sensitive too. And Jeri and Andrea have both proven they are perfect for that type of role, but I think they both have shows right now. So...some thoughts. But I sure wish Alex and Claudia could still do it. I've been hoping to see this show for years!!! but at least they will be writing it, so i know it will be amazing! ~Becca |

The only thing I am disappointed is that Claudia is not going to be in one of the lead roles...I think they should reconcider that and have her be one of the leads and have another younger actress be the other one... like...maybe portraying her sister...who tagged along and got herself stuck in this time loop with Claudia...This would draw a wide age range of viewers instead of just having 2 20 something actors. that a series needs a few story arcs to make it interesting. My two cents: Make Kris, Thorn and Alestair pawns and victims in a bigger history game. Have glimpses from the players viewpoint in each episode and let the bigger context build over time. Since you're already on the track of cultures and mysticism, the players could be from the Eutruscan, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Norse or whatever mythology. Skip the "god" vs "bad" and make it grey. Let it all come down to the characters viewpoint and objectives. Good Luck, and make it happen! |

| Comments: | I like the look of this. If it's not handled right, though, it could come out very hokey. But I'd certainly be interested in seeing this on my tv screen (followed closely by the DVDs) - it'll beat watching more of those interminable reality shows currently polluting the screen.
It's sort of a Time Tunnel without the heavy machinery and there's a high probability that the ladies will end up stuck in the past - transport to the various geologically significant sites being problematical at best. Good luck. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. |

| Comments: | I would love to see this concept brought to light - especially with Ms Christian involved. In fact - may I suggest that Uluru (Ayers Rock) or some of the surrounding geological features like the Devils Marbles may play a part in that they would certainly satisfy the need for a strong spiritual place. To this day, rocks are being returned to Uluru by people who have found they got very unlucky after purloining them as souvenirs. I am not sure whether I believe, but many certainly do. And besides, it would be a great excuse to get some of the sci-fi/fantasy types down into the southern hemisphere. |

Is the show in need of other writers or assistant writers? I'm greatly interested in getting involved in television writing, and media tie-in writing. I've just received a BA in Creative Writing from UCR, and I'm willing to send out my resume upon request. :) I'm also living in California, not terribly far from LA. I have a couple offhand ideas for time travel: Woodstock - while not that far back in time, it would be fun to see two women who were in the generation after the Boomers react to Woodstock. What if one of the women was actually conceived there? That would be wild. :) Irish Rebellion - Landing right in the middle of The Easter Rising. Having the women interact with WB Yeats and Maud Gonne would be interesting. French Revolution - They can land in the middle of the Terror, or bare witness to the killing of Marie Antoinette. If the story was to be set before the revolution, life in Versailles could be shown, and one of my favorite historical figures, Marie Antoinette's portrait painter Elisabeth Vigee-Lebrun, could be depicted. WWI - Bring alive the war along with poetic figures such as Wilfred Owen. |

| Comments: | Hi, I'm not a big internet/fangirl/groupie type, partly because I just don't have the funds to be, but I do have a few obssesions and one of them is the best tv show ever, Xena (no offence Claudia) and the other is anything that's fun and interesting, a wide area I know but most of it is centered around entertainment, tv, movies, books etc.... Anyway what I wanted to say is that I think this show could work, for many different reasons but the most promenent being that practicly everyone and I do mean "Everyone" likes a female orentated show and if it's well written and interesting as well then that will help a great deal in keeping those pickier fans tuned-in. In short, well okay in long, I personaly hope that you can get it on tv cause' I, being an Alexandria Tydings fan and my brother a big Claudia Christian fan, would bend over backwards to see it, but if you guys don't mannage it then I strongly suggest that you do an online series, wether it's an animated-audio series(BBCi does great ones) or just a online radio series it wouldn't matter, if it's a good story is all that counts. So good luck guys, we'll be waiting. |
