Roger Galpin Hi I was a pupil at Bentley Rd School, as I knew it at the time, from 1952 - 1957 under headmaster John Cooper. Took my 11+ under George Evans, great guy and went on to Coleshill Grammar school. We lived at 32 Bentley Rd next door to the Gopsill's and the Phillips families. Used to walk to school past that old oak tree thats still there in the middle of the pavement. I recall many old school mates especially Roy Ibbotson, Ken Haines, Ken Westwood, Stephen Print.
