Medyo matagal po ako di nakakapag-post dito dahil medyo naging busy ako at sa totoo lang po na paalis na naman ako at babalik na naman ng Singapore this coming Friday pero babalik pa rin naman ako by Oct. 7 dahil dito pa rin nag-aaral ang mga bata. Nagkaron na nga po ng 3 consecutive Sundays na practice ang batch para sa ating homecoming. On my own opinion at observation, masaya po ang lahat ng nagpa-practice tuwing Sunday dahil andon lahat pa rin ang kamustahan. Di ko rin kasi expected yong di namin mapasayaw ay na-convinced namin na sumali dito. Totoo nga na may kanya2 groupings at di maka-relate kung pagsasamahin ang mga ito. For example lang po, ako na nanggagaling pa ng Laguna ay nagtitiyaga na pumunta don para mag-practice at the same time ay makita ang iba nating claamates. Hindi ako magtitiyaga na bumiyahe pa don kung di ako enjoy sa pupuntahan ko di ba? May close din talaga ako sa batch na grupo pero nagsasama kami after the practice or some other time para makapag-bonding kami. Kasi ang iniiwasan ko nga ay yong mga bagong dating na ma-out of place at sabihin na wala naman ako kakilala diyan kaya ayaw pumunta. Pag practice ng sayaw ay pure practice lang para matapos ng maaga at makauwi agad. Sana tama ang pakiramdam ko at hayaan nyo tatanungin ko isa-isa kung di sila enjoy ang iba nating classmates. Mag-comment ang di enjoy, magtaas ng kamay. Hehehe!!!! Para sa susunod kung may magagawa akong paraan para mag-enjoy sila gagawin ko basta wag lang kumain ng apoy at tumulay sa alambre ha? |

| Comments: | Good day Batchmates! My name is Alex Villanueva and at the time of this writing, I believe I am part of the leadership of Batch '83 Philippine chapter. This is in response to the posting of a certain "Batch83". I usually do not dignify queries by anonymous individuals. But for your sake, my email address is indicated above, and my cellphone number is (0915)312-2359. If you have any enquiries regarding issues concerning our batch, please direct your queries to me. For the benefit of those who have read "Batch83's" posting, let me address his/her concerns point by point:
1. Regarding the issue on how we are going to spend our funds, I say spend it all. But that is not up to me. The decision is up to every member of batch '83 who toiled and worked hard to raise funds and spend their hard-earned money to support every initiative. I say we spend what is just and leave enough funds for the next set of officers. Funding for each committee will be tackled as soon as the need arises. We cannot control costing at this time. 2. The issue of scholarship which has been raised several times during our board and general membership meetings. This would be up to the next set of officers to decide the criterias and or rules on the selection of a worthy scholar/s. 3. Incentive for recruitment of new batch members: I honestly do not think that this is necessary. Since it is ALL our obligation, officer or not, to encourage every member of our batch to attend general membership meetings. I have 150 contact numbers of our batchmates which I know is not enough. Nevertheless, I have religiously sent text messages regarding upcoming batch activities. Never did any of our batchmates like Onnie Ronquillo or Elmer Bautista, to name a few, has asked for anything in return for recruiting new members. These people do not need written invitations hence, they attend the meetings. "Batch83", If you do not wish to identify yourself, I respect your decision, that is entirely up to you.
