 Just saw the article, "Making his .MOV", in the Sunday Inquirer Magazine, today, December 1st, 2002. Congrats on the exposure it brings to the DV scene sa Philippines.

 Just heard about this from a friend and am just happy that digital films are being done in the Philippines and are being shown. Some of the movies seem really interesting. I especially liked the concept of "motel".

please watch my film, ' a Pilgrim's journal' . It is a documentary about the tilma of Blesssed Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe. I think it is screening tom. (wed) 4:30 and on sun. 4:30 rin. I liked to thank Khavn for including it on the festival. 'A pilgrim's joural' is only 40 mins long and it will take you to 6 countries: from the Edsa Shrine through Marian Shrines in Europe ( Lourdes, Fatima, etc.). the last stop (in the film) is Mexico City where my search for the Most beautiful painting of a Woman ends ( Our Lady of Guadalupe imprinted on the tilma of Juan Diego) .... hope you all get to see it.

thank goodness for internet! i apologise for not being in touch more often. i could've given more information about the documentary we submitted earlier. i'm assuming that anyone of the .mov organizers are checking this site regularly so i'm volunteering information on the docu.

the title of the documentary is actually "alingawngaw ng mga punglo" not "alingawngaw ng mga bala." punglo being the proper filipino word for a bullet in flight. it is approx. 45 min. and it it about the state of human rights in the southern tagalog region which has historically suffered (probably next to Mindanao) the brunt of the militarist policies of past and present regimes. it was collectively made by 4 young persons (ages ranging from 21-22, and 26---i'm the oldest potato)who were once students of UP in Los Baņos. We call ourselves Southern Tagalog Exposure whenever the need for a name comes up. We prefer the use of ST Exposure whenever the need to credit the documenary to someone or anyone would arise. We are very passionate about letting as many people as possible know about the human rights situation in the region so we can be readily available to answer questions raised by the docu.:)
