Kaia has filled the big gap left by our previous precious Golden Boy 'Spencer' who sadly left us just before turning 11. She is a delight (albeit sometimes led astray by our 4 yr old black lab 'Murphy'. A credit to your's and 'Chalbrook' kennels breeding.

She is just gorgeous, her partner is a 15yr old blue heeler cattle dog, he is incredibly intelligent and taught Rosie well. We visited New Nealand for the first time last January, we just toured the North Island and fell in love with your wonderful country, beautiful scenery, great hospitality, everyone so friendly and helpful, lovely restaurants and food. We hope to make another trip this January to the South Island, as long as our wonderful friends come to stay at our home and look after our 'best friends' our two dog's and 4 burmese cats, knowing that we can confidently go away and enjoy our trip.

Because of our quarantine laws, it is problematic to obtain goldens from the continental United States, so we are blessed to have some awesome breeders here in Hawaii and also in New Zealand, whose pups are not affected by our strict quarantine laws. |

We have previously been owned by 4 Goldies, our last Ben having to be rehomed when we moved into rented accomodation while our new house was being built. It was only supposed to be a temporary measure but dragged on for THREE years. Two little boys have grown to love Ben so much it would be cruel to them to take him back now even tho we miss him so much. We are able to see him from time to time but it is very hard to wrench ourselves away.
