We recently lost our 14 year old smooth fox terrier to old age and we and his companion, a 6 year old female smooth fox terrier miss him terribly. We are looking for a new buddy for her. He came from Cleo Laxton of Courtney, (now deceased). He was brown and white but my wife's first fox terrier when she was a little girl, was a black and white smooth fox terrier. good smoothies again, there have not been too many around for quite a while. I lost my smoothy this year , she was fifteen and it was a very sad day when we lost her (cancer) I have had smoothies for 25 years (she was my second) and love them dearly but if I get another it would have to be a senior as I am also a senior now and it would not be fair to get a puppy (to either of us!!) If you know of any well trained house orientated seniors around who need a home, would you let me know? I like a brown and white and tri-colours best but could give a good home to any smoothie. |

I have always loved Great Danes (and the working group), also, I have a thing for Terriers because I have one (a Kerry Blue named Remington, Remi for short). | Comments: | I had a dachshumd as a kid, and he grew up with me from the age od 6 to 21. Then I graduated to Irish Setters when I was 25 and eventually had 3 living ubfer the same roof. Long red hair was all over the house even though they were brushed everday and were show dogs. My sire was the #2 Irish Setter in Canada in the 80's. They were a ton of work, but also the loves of my ;ife. Then at one dog show I saw the biggest dog I had ever seen. It was a Great Dane, amd he was massive even for a Deutsche Dogge. I fell in love with the breed but never owned one to date. I nolonger have aby dogs and I lost my cat 2 years ago to FIV (Feline Immune Virus A.K.A. cat AIDS). Next year I'll be moving from my home in Brampton and heading for Vancouver. I hope to get a Great Dane in 2 or 3 years and a Dachshund in 1 year. |

| Comments: | I have a 6 year old shihtzu and have had a groomer come to my home but am no longer happy with the lack of kindness she shows him and he is scared of her when she comes so for 3 months I have been combing him and have cut around his face and under him on my own and he is easier to do each time.I have wanted to let him grow a bit longer in the winter as he gets cold and shivers when I don't and she doesn't like this.I have decided to go and buy a groomers kit and do him on my own rather than have him treated unkindly and I guess I would probably like to have him shaped by a professional about every 3 months and maybe have his feet done a bit better than I would be able to do.I like what you say about quality so have visited your website.

We acquired a really cute female 7 ½ week old a week before Christmas and we are very happy with my wife’s puppy, Charlie. The name still causes me a great deal of conversational mis-identication, but her attitude is all Fox Terrier. I have had her to the vet twice already and her spay/DHLP, Corona, etc., and rabies is scheduled for March 29th.
