| Comments: | Just wanted to say that I too own a J20, a 1977 and I am very pleased with it. It is a heavy duty, 8400lb gross weight truck, so I can carry a lot. It has the original 401 V8, Holley 4barrel carb and an HEI distributor, which makes it start a lot easier. It is automatic, with full time Quadratrac, low range. Body in great shape except for one rear fender has a ding above the bumper, under the tail light. And the poor thing really needs a paint job, badly.
I have had it for 18 years now, and will not part with it until the "big" day I go away. It has 105119 miles on it, original. I also have a 1977 Jeep Wagoneer, 401 V8, automatic. I have had it for twenty one years. And, I own a 1984 Eagle Wagon, 4 x 4. Great car, too. |

| Comments: | Just purchased a 1975 J-20; 360, TH400 with Quadra-trac.
Always liked the jeep pickups but don't know much about them at all. Will visit your site often! Sure would like to know "good" shops here in CA to take this vehicle to for progressive restoration/upgrades and such--especially concerning work on the Quadratrac unit and transmission. |

| Comments: | I am a Jeep fan from back in the 70's. I don't do off road but I love the old rigs. I've had about 5 or 6 Wagoneers and one Comanchee, two J10's and now own a '77 Wagoneer and a '77 J20 heavy duty pickup, both with 401's and automatic transmissions. I swear that the Borg Wagner Quadra trac was the best built. Will send you pictures as soon as I can. See you soon. By the way, I think your J20 Off-Road web page is the greatest. It's about time someone did other then Chevy's, Fords, and Dodges. |
