| Comments: | I have a loved one who is a 55 yr. old diabetic who is in a prison now who is also innocent of the crime he is accused of and is being neglected and abused mediaclly to the extent the he has lost some of his vision, his sight is constantly blurry, has swollen ankles and feet, (for at least a month now) had a severe scalp infection to the extent of bleeding and puss, (don`t know if he still has it) has loss of feeling and tingling in both hands, (permement nerve damage) has and still is going into insulin shock almost daily, (sometimes two or three times daily and the last time, yesterday he was unconscience for at least one hour according to his cellmate) wobbly when walking, dizzy sometimes, but always when standing up, severe mussle pain, especially back,(not sure what else) severely depressed and God knows what else! His case is on appeal, however, he will not survive until then. He has only been imprisoned for 3 months and they have already done this much damage to him. (He goes for 2 to 3 days at a time where he is TOTALLY blind because they have OVERDOSED him with the wrong insulin.)He then has to refuse his insulin for a few days to get the insulin out of his system so he will get mosty of his eyesight back. He just recently found out that the medical team there are falsifying his medical records, not showing that he has ever gone into insulin shock while there. This is criminal in itself. He has wittnesses and their DC numbers, but I`m sure that they will not allow him to leave with his doccumentation which will be within a few days or so as I have been told as he is being transferred to a permenent prison in north Florida. We are from central Florida. What can I do to help him prove what they are and have done to him and how can I get his appeal speeded up before his ends up dead? PLEASE HELP ME TO HELP HIM!!! I have a husband incarcerated w/FL DOC. So I am not naive about what goes on, but to look at all you have on your site about food, abuse mail etc, infuriates me so much. We can't blame it all on M Moore it went on llong before him. I just hve a hard time seeing that it continues to go on at that extent. I have a friend who used to work for the DOC and saw her this past weekend, the things she told me sounded like something out of a movie. I have also noticed the guards in northern FL are a WHOLE different breed. I do not wear blue, I do not appreciate being talked to like they the inmates. It's bad enough they talk to the ones that don't deserve it. The problem is they feel that they have a job to punish the inmates more than the justice system did, reguardless of their crime. Yes there are a few human CO's but not enough. Alot of them leave the DOC because they can't stand to see what goes on. Gotta go, lisa |

| Comments: | I have a son behind those walls in Michigan and believe me our family has had a tragic awakening to our supposed justice system and the injustice, corruption, violence, abuse, etc. etc. etc. among people who are in the position of supposedly upholding our justice system!!! I'd like to know who justifies what is going on in the legal system and how can it be called JUSTICE ? Most of what I've seen and heard these days sounds more like INJUSTICE!
I have been searching desperately for legal representation for my son on an Appeal to the Supreme Court and because we are not in the financial position to hire our own attorney my son is left to try to do this on his own unless we can find someone to help us (him) and file his appeal before the 18th of this month. Believe me I can tell you about corruption here but the inmates in our prisons can't talk for fear of retaliation by prison administration and officials. As far as I'm concerned from the Juvinille System all the way up our system sets the course for these kid's and adults to fail! Therefore inflicting more tragedy to many innocent lives. These inmates are never intended to be reformed or rehabilitated! What do they expect a person released from 1 or more years of mental and physical torture to be like? Many being mentally unstable to begin with. These people aren't welcomed back into society in the first place, finding a decent job to support themselves, a place to live, transportation, etc. has got to be a horrible experience with thier records haunting them. Yet we have to protect society from repeat offenders. With the odds stacked against them and the horrifying mental & physical abuse they have suffered at the hands of our so called justice system (or the people enforcing it anyway) how can anyone expect them to survive and function within the law? As I said I truly believe in the laws that are inplace in our justice system and that Justice IS FOR ONE AND ALL!!! |

| Comments: | My husband has been sentenced to 10 years with no proof of anything from the Federal Government and he was also scared into entering a plea of Guilty as well as promises made by the Federal Government and of course denied in the end. The Federal Government is allowed to do anything they wish at any time they wish. The inmates are moved around from one place to another, not knowing where or why they are being moved. It's all a guessing game and the family panic's right along with the inmate trying to contact someone with knowledge of the related situation and at the same time, filled with fear of who to contact for answers. In most all situations relating to the Fed's, the inmate's attorney seems to be the last to know what's happening. In my situation, my husband was moved in order to testify in a trial. He was moved a month ahead of time and placed in a small town jail with no windows, no outside activities, no clocks and limited visitation of 2 hours on Sunday's provided if no rain was in the forcast. The Federal Agents barged into our house at 7:00 a.m. in front of the children. All agents were carrying guns. The only explaination they provided was that my husband's bond had been revoked and their instructions were to take him into custody. Later, we learned that they thought he might be a flight risk. He had been on in house arrest for over 3 years. Don't you think he would have already ran if he was planning to run. The Federal Government tried to arrest my husband years ago regarding his being a board member for a Bank that folded costing my husband a large sum of money as well as other board members. The Federal Government failed to make the arrest. This caused embarrasment to the Fed's and now they have a personal vandeta against him. It's a long story, but certainly proved what they can get away with once they have you in custody. Ten years is a long, long time.........So many are in Prison that would be better off on some kind of in house arrest.

Most men who are put in will not come out as the same person. Go in for a small marijuana charge and you might come out a killer. Everything that I have found on the internet has mainly been for medicial use. Just this past weekend we had the 2nd annual march here in New Orleans I was happy to find this site through someone who was there. I stood up and spoke in front of the crowd, it was a very uplifting feeling to stand up and speek my mind. The court lawyer that I was given has not been much assistance in my case. I am the one who has to take my life into my own hands to assure that I don't end up behind bars. If there is someone out there who can help me with information to keep me free I would love to hear from you. This is the first offense I have ever had for anything on my record. Did you ever take the time to come and meet us at the local fire station? One day you or a loved one will depend on us to save your life at a time of crisis in your life. Do you know what you are getting? Like every profession in this country we have good and bad people. Do you know the difference? It could cost you your life. In my 14 years I have seen things that would shock the toughest person and at that point it is when I must perform at my best. Some people in my profession really don't care about you or your welfare. I have seen them steal money off of dead bodies of our loved ones. I have seen them not act when they should have, and the patient has died. I have seen them do the wrong thing causing further complications to your injuries. I have seen them do things that have paralyzed someone for life. Most of these crimes are hidden and most families do nothing to expose them. If for one-second you think every paramedic in this country is honest and trust worthy, you will definitely become prey to them. Please help me expose these people as there are many of them collecting a pay check from your tax dollars. In Hampton, Virginia, Medic/Firefighters are deliberately withholding and delaying care to minority patients who call 911, causing serious injury and death. I am calling for an independent investigation into these activities. Please view the below site and see the evidence for your self. In Hampton the evidence is over whelming that this goes on. In one such case two African American males were denied treatment and care withheld for a documented 56 minutes while they bled to death. The state EMS board is finally investigating this case. You are my hero! You do the most fantastik work and you do the greatest job in all you do. I am in my late 40's and I have never partaken of illegal drugs, but I fight for them to be legalized. This drug war is rediculous. From all I have studied the marijuna is the exact same thing as what our older generation takes of valium, zanax, etc., except the marijuna is a natural grown substance made by God. If "all" of us would come together on this issue and help get this legalized, we could probably free 99% of the prison population! It is sad to say but our politicians, including our presidental canidates, are guilty of using illegal drugs but of course he has "never" had to stay a day in jail over this and millions of others are in prisons for 20 years and longer. at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas. She would like to say thank you for everything you all are doing and to let you know that all of the inmates there greatly appreciate your support. She is 23 years old and is serving a 70 month (mandatory minimum) sentence for a first offense, non-violent drug charge. These laws do have to change and quick!
