| Comments: | This is a very nice website. My daughter is searching for her great grandmother's family who lived in Jackson County GA in the mid 1800's. The last name is Catlett. They ended up in Gilmer, Upshur County, Texas, then to West Texas and then to Arizona in 1930's.

He md Missouri Jane Adams, b. 16 Sep 1825; d. ca 1892 Phenix City, AL. They were both born in Jackson County, Georgia and were the children of first cousins. Jane's parents were John S/L Adams and Mary (Polly) unknown; and her grandparents were Absalom and Elizabeth unknown Adams. John and his brother, Jesse lived in Jackson county and left there bet 1820 - 1830. I dream BIG and have been doing so for more than 25 years. I need HELP. Pat |

| Comments: | I am (of course) on a Genealogy quest. I have a copy of my GGgrandmother's death certificate, Mary Elizabeth GARNER HAMMOND, and found that her father was from Jackson Co.. His name was William GARNER. I am guessing he was born around 1800. I have only briefly looked through the information on this site once. I was very impressed. I am planning to go through it thoroughly now.
