My name is Drake Akroyd. We meet in the early '80 for One of WAVY-TV's client parties. I am trying to reach Eddie Williams - he is looking for a tenor case - I have one. I am assuming you have his number since you guys still play together. Let's do this - my number is 638-1583 - have him call me. He will like the price. Thanks, Drake |

Don't know if you remember me. I heard you play at Julie Marhalik's wedding and really did enjoy all of your music. My daughter, Robbie Garrity, gave me one of your CD's for my birthday. What a nice surprise! She gave me a surprise 80th birthday party and it would have been nice if you could have played for it. I hope to be in Cheaspeake in June for my Grandaughters graduation. Maybe we can take in one of your shows. Hope all your family is doing well. Take care and continue your wonderful music. Grandmama Jeanette P. S. Am I one of your oldest fans???? |

My wife and I used to come listen to you back in the late '80s and early '90's at places like Bobby McGees in Va Beach, and on the waterfront in Hampton. We've been on the west coast for 10 years now (Las Vegas presently), and still miss your music! Glad to hear you're still playing, and obviously doing well. God bless, and thanks for all the great music over the years! We'd love to see you headline here in Vegas someday! Ed and Debbie Deuel |

You probably won't remember me, however, I used to see you religiously back when I was in the Navy in Norfolk at a local bar, the name I can't remember. I'd go with 4-7 other Navy guys and we'd buy you a Rolling Rock after the first set. We knew all of your songs and lyrics, and "Lookin' at the Headlights" was our/my favorite. I was just thinking about those days and looked you up and wanted to say "Hey." I've included my family's website, in case you're interested. Since leaving the Navy in Aug '96, I've gotten married, have 3 kids now, and live in Colorado Springs, CO. Keep Rockin' Nathan Giffin |

| Comments: | Happy Birthday Lewis from Gaston, NC.
Sure do miss hearing your wonderful music. There is not much here in Gaston too small for any talent to stay and make a living. The Randy Parton theater was such a mess. It has been purchased by an outsider and is now called the Roanoke Valley Theater. The temptations are the next big gig so if they have to go back that far to get a talent I am afraid the reputation precedes it. I wish you and your wonderful family a very Merry Christmas and may the New Year be filled with blessing. Missing you, Bettie Coffin |

It was the night that some guy ( not me! ) asked if he could have a try of your Takamine. Don't blame you for refusing. I've been learning guitar for the last few years and if I wasn't living in Wales in Great Britain I would sure be booking some lessons with you. Thanks again. |

We had mandolins, fiddles, stand-up bass, autoharp, guitar and I borrowed a 5-string. The scenery around Ketchikan is breathtaking. The locals just have bad breath. Please send me an email so I dont have to go thru this fancy web site just to say hello. Your pal...Newty |

| Comments: | Lewis my friend, how the hell are you? As I was cleaning out my parents home this past month, I came across a time capsule of Ocean City stuff including a letter you had written way before email existed, and I determined to contact you. Turns out it was pretty easy. The spelling of your last name must be a blessing and a curse for those trying to find you online.
Anyway, if this actually gets through to you, I'd love to hear from you and catch up. It is frickin' great to see you doing what you do. Calendar looks busy. I wish there were some Northern California dates. Want to do a west coast swing, do the Napa Valley? Happy Independence Day. Take Care. Matt |

| Comments: | How are you doin' Lewis? I was just working on a slide show for the JM high school reunion coming up in a month or so. I was just putting in a slide with your sister in it and suddenly it occurred to me that I didn't remember exactly how to spell your last name. A little google search and here you are. McGehee - I'll bet you can't count the times that it has been misspelled. Sorry I missed you last time I called. I have no good excuse except to say that somebody tried to poison me with vodka and cranberry juice. I will track you down next time down. It would appear from your schedule that you work all the time so you won't be hard to find. Buck

Now that we know it's only about 45 min. to O'Sullivan's, we might just come on over more often! I just wanted to tell you tho that even Elvis has come out with new recordings and he's been dead for 30 years! You need to come out with a "greatest hits" cd or a "collection of originals" or something. Or maybe a mixture cd, a double cd with some originals and some covers. Whatever, we'd all buy it!
Look forward to seeing you again soon. Love, Carol & David Glowacki |

| Comments: | Hey Lewis!!!!
I followed you around for years when you were at Abbey Road all the time. Hung out with a gregarious guy named "BUCK". Molly was my best friend and when I left for CA she was about to get married to Karle's father I believe. I'm looking for Molly. We lost track of each other and I thought you might still know all of them and can tell me where she's at or give her my e-mail address so she can contact me. Thanks. I still listen to your tape on a regular basis. Getting old. We got some of the first tapes. You signed mine....Donna, You Know. I'm sure you wrote that on all your single female groupies...but it made me feel special. |

| Comments: | I stopped in O'Sullivan's Wharf Tuesday night for a few minutes after the ODU basketball game and was very happy to see Lewis McGehee entertaining the folks. I have only seen Lewis once in the past few years (at the wine festival at Town Park), but I have enjoyed his shows going back about 25 years at many venues. I even saw him perform at the Norfolk Blues Rugby Football Club's 4th Annual "Boogie Til You Puke" (early 80's I think). It was great to see you again, Lewis. Your music sounds just as wonderful as ever. I'm sorry that I couldn't stay very long at O'Sullivan's, but I look forward to coming to see you soon. |

It's been so long since Jim and I have been back to the beach to hear you.We will never have the chance to again, sadly since I lost Jim on the 11th of Dec. 07. He died after a 4 month battle with pneumonia.Hearing you sing reminds me of all the times we came to hear you...a few times with our kids. Our kids are doing great, considering. I see that yours are too. Jim and I saw your daughter's my space last year and heard her sing...how wonderful! You may not be able to place who I am...used to work at Smack's, lived with Rick Gregor for a few years..... Hope all is well with you and Marcy and your children...Hope to get to Va Beach with my 3 next summer..will try to catch you singing. Thanks for the memories...love barb |

You have a GREAT website! I do plan to visit Virginia Beach again when I can stay longer and actually enjoy the town without the prison walls of a convention center - I hope to see you perform again! If you and your family decide you want to take a 'working' vacation, let me know and when you get to the Casper area I'm sure I can put you in touch with folks who can set you up for playing in my area. Sing on, my friend, you have a quite a gift! Thank you for singing to "me"! Suz from Casper, Wyoming |
