Comments:Hi John,

My name is Frank and i an a member of Lodge St. Bryde 579, Uddingston. I am iterested in starting my own collection and was very impressed by your own collection. As i am relatively new to the craft I would appreciate ay tips on how i go about this. I see from your website that there are no tokens to display for sale or trade (although i must confess to not having much to trade!!). I will continue to visit the site as i have not had time to view all your collection.

Cheers

Comments:Enjoyed looking through you site, I have one wee pick to make if I may! -- I note that you spell "St.Andrew 518" with an "s" at the end ie -- "Andrews", - this is a common mistake, even amongs regular visitors to our Lodge, but we are quick to correct them, it sounds and looks better as intended, otherwise great site-- keep up the good work,

It would be great for someone to take this task on board to get it up and running again. I don't suppose you would consider this ..... hope you do.

I have been making and engraving Masonic pennies ansd shekels for a long time. Before me, my dad Sidney Bovee, was hand engraving them. We have several dies in the basement that are used occasionally, but most are for defunct lodges. They are not for sale. However I thought I would let you know that we are here if you have any questions about the manufacture of them.Look at our catalog that shows some of our items that we make at http://rouletcompany.com/html/rc.pdf Looking forward to making your aquaittance, Fraternally, Roger Bovee

Comments:John,

Just a short note to congratulate you on your website. I have often viewed your site to see how your collectionis growing but I am certain there are not many tokens that have escaped your beedy eyes.

Being involved with Millennium Mark I no longer collect tokens however I must have around 1000 tokens in my collection and must get round to auctioning it? (Not on E-Bay but at a proper auction as I want to sell it as a collection)

I have taken the liberty of offering you a link on our website. As we have over two thousand visitors a month I am certain there are many token collectors who would be interested in your site and share your passion for Masonic tokens.

Good Luck with your collection if there are any unusual tokens that may come my way I'll keep you in mind.

Do you still visit our Mother Lodge in Brightons if so pass my regards on to all the Brethren? I communicate back and forwards with Bob Lessels PM but it is around three years since I visited the Lodge

Sincerely and Fraternally
Alex

I have two tokens both from Lodge 599 the smaller one is just with the triangle and letters and the larger one has the details of Dr David Livingstone's birth and death details and a map of africa. Can you tell me when these tokens were produced and how limited they were. I have no intention of selling them and my name is really David Livingstone (my father is a Scot) but I was born in Carlisle, Cumberland.

As yet I have been unable to determine what this coin/token is - any thoughts?

Comments:Hi Again John, Just can not keep away, still the best looking collection on the web.

Even so, please please please, turn Furness lodge round the right way. If you are listing it as an English constitution token , use its present English number, 36, not its original Scots one, 24.

The unknown one at the end of that section consists of two millenium reverses put together on a single coin to use the dies. The Royal jubilee was popular with lodges/chapters whose own anniversary fell in 2002. Since then there can nopt have been much demand and this is a way to get the use out of it. All the best David

I am a member of Mizpah #35, Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and also a member of the local Royal Arch Chapter.
I would be most delighted to send you one of our tokens if you so desire, please let me know.
Thats all I have to say for now except keep up the great work with this website and best of luck with your outstanding, amazing, awesome and growing collection.
Best of luck.
