| Comments: | A great website!!: - my 'sole mate' a beautiful chocolate Labrador called Derwy, has recently died, aged nearly 14 - co-incidentally, we called him (affectionately) 'baby-loo' as a small puppy, which became shortened to 'boo' - he equally responded to both Derwy and 'boo' throughout his life - your own 'boo' seems to be a beautiful dog with a nice nature - 'treasure each moment of your life with boo'
My own dog was nicely mischievious to the end - stealing my and my wife/daughters' slippers and wanting to play all the time!! (the game plan had changed, I did the running around instead of him!!!) fortunately he died naturally and peacefully and although it is 'heart breaking' it is the best way to go If it is of any value - I used to give Derwy a range of natural herbs and vitamins eg Aloe Vera/ Ginseng/ Green Lipped Mussel extract etc, which helped promote his all round health and manage his arthritis in old age, minimising the use of veterinary medicines - his coat had virtually no grey, it was a rich, dark chocolate colour with a good shine to it - nor did he have an 'old dog' smell - which I attributed to the value of these natural herbs etc On behalf of 'the old boy', myself and family, thank you for contributing to your 'guest book' |

Two lab mixes, MiseCu, mine by default because my husband left us both, Kutya, abandon at the end of my long drive way and howled for two days until I told him to "get in the truck." Then there's Kelly, an Aussie, adopted her from the SPCA near Raleigh, NC, and Shortie, the wayward Bassett (mostly) hound. He showed up in the garden and just sat until I gave him something to eat. He found out Bassett hounds are a French breed and changed his name to Shorte. He goes and camps out the neighbors sometimes until I got pick him up. Camping spots always require another dog who likes to play and share food. Keep up the good work. Marion |

| Comments: | We also aquired not one but two puppies and yes they are
related,sisters in fact. The couple we got them from had recently moved into a restricted area where dogs are nonexisting and prohibited and it was the dog pound for them. Luck was on their side because when we went to see the puppies the couple had loaded them in their van and were getting ready to take them on their last trip the pound. I bonded with them right off and knew they were going to our house to be loved . I did'nt want to seperate them because of the relationship they seemed to have with each other. Now they are eight months old and I'm training both of them to retrieve. They are'nt full blooded labs but close enough. I have a gold fish pond in my back yard where they swim and chase my gold fish, the fish don't seem to mind. We live in the out skirts of town so the dogs have twenty acres to roam as they like. I have'nt had time to erect a web site but working on it and my dogs will be on it and also two cats we recently aquired from the local pound. |
