I'm looking for a mariage of Andrew Benson and Anna Wall 2-14-1891 performed by Pastor Laurits Paulson. | Comments: | Thanks for doing a lot of research for me! My great-great grandmother, Davina Gabrielsdatter, was a sister of your great-great-great grandma Marit. (I think that makes you my 4th cousin, once removed.) My grandmother, Margrethe, was Davina's youngest child. I was born at Tacoma General and raised in Gig Harbor (Peninsula HS '54), served in the Navy and worked as a Boeing Engineer and a public school special ed teacher. We now live in Everett. My wife and I dabble in genealogy, but don't find enough time to really do as much as we'd like. I see my second cousin Bonnie Munson signed your guest book a couple years ago. I found your web address (and others) in a letter Bonnie had obtained from Carl Anders Olsson two years ago and forwarded to me. |

I also had a great grandmother Christina. My Grandfather was Walter B. Mathison Sr married to Olga Jacobson. I wonder if there's any connectiion down the line? And more closely related in our jobs than you realize. You were a Standards Engineer for IBM. I was a Senior Reliability Engineer after my retirement from the Navy. Was the Reliability Design Engineer for the Radio Transponder in the Hubble Space Telescope. One more time two shipmates have met online as a result of the Internet.

| Comments: | I came upon your website by accident, never having done any geneaological searches. My grandfather was Daniel Imhoff, I believe Martin's son "Daniel, 8". He died in 1945 at about the age of 83. My dad, his son Vernon, had a cousin in Belle Plaine, Jack Vincour, whose farm we visited when we were children - we grew up in St Paul, MN. | Comments: | I received your web address from Carl Anders Olsson and have been reading until my eyes are sore. I am a descendant of Gabriel Larson and Johanna Samuelsdatter, their daughter Davina Gabrielsdatter was my great,great,grandmother. My great,grandmother was Margrethe Oldsdatter.
The area near Fargo, ND that is mentioned in your work is most likely Hickson, ND. Many of the emigrants that came in 1866 on the ship Norden settled in that area. There is a cemetery called Hemnes. I would enjoy hearing from you. By the way I love "lutefisk" and "lefse". Bonnie |
