I know that U have many skills with Evans heads (Rock AF, MX Gold, Power center, ST). I find it SO IRONIC,that KILLER drummers, like you,don't get more credit, in drum mags. I laugh, REAL HARD!!!!!!!, when I read the hype about certain metal drummers that are quite new to the scene. One in particular, was recentley listed as one of the three fastest drummers in the world. I went down my list of my fav speed masters and shook my head with disgust. The other two listed were Mike Mangini and Johnny Rabb. Both great drummers!!!! #3, of that list, does not even come close! Love your DVD!!!! Great tool and a kick to watch over and over again. you are without any doubt one if not the best drummers i've seen in metal drumming in my 21 years of playing. tommy aldrich is one of my all time favorites no insult to tommy you smoke him. i have two boys 11 and 9 years of age they are both gifted on drums. the 11 year old went with guitar of choice but plays several instruments. my little guy 9 is the drummer he is visual im teaching him but i believe he should be taught by someone else other than his father no pressure. He was glued to your dvd did not move your dvd is the real deal and he is outside everyday watching you on a 65 inch cinematic cranking theatre system as if in concert.His name is jake and practicing stage techniques also. i can pick alot of what you do the patterns . but rob halford hit it right on the head your "an illusionist. your blowing my kid away thank you so much we both watch it together some serious drummer bonding. p.s. anybody that don't have bobby's dvd performance and technique is loosing out on learning some serious drum skills. good luck on future projects and endevors. |

I switched to traditional grip for awhile and then back and forth. I am praying and doing my best with the ailments. But if it comes for music you need a stable, one band. This state of performance worked out for egxample Dream Theater. Mike Portnoy, maybe plays always the same, but it's good and he have very good people to work with, so all stuff are more than beautiful and art. Do more music with Ron. Spastic Ink and Ron's solo albums are the best for me and even ink.redible :] Come to Poland, many people want to see you a live. That's my opinion. :) I play 10 years with breaks on drums, 1,5 year with Brain Connect. I'll be gratefull for opinion of our music available on our site. Demo was made on my own PC :)

I was meaning to get your dvd but does it show how to do what you do cuz if it does.....watch out man....I study alot by watching then doing it. I'm not any kind of threat to you as a musician but man if you could teach me some licks on a personal note...........man that would be F*****g awsome!! I love drumming. I wish i had the money for an electronic set but damn school, financial aid, my apt. and BBF take up alot of my time. But yeah i've had no training as far as technique and proper drumming but i have two things that I feel sets me apart from a lot of people. The ears and my balls, i've gotten pretty good for thriving on both and basically learned all i know now by listening and repeating while taking in as well as processing it, filtering and dishing out better styles and better technique. If you could show me a thing or two or three. I would be eternaly greatfull to have learned from and individual of your stature. I`m ink`s (and your) fan from Poland. Thanks for the inspiration and opening new plane of FREE SPIRIT LIGHTNG SPACE METAL :) I`ve got 1 question- I found out that in Multimasking, under the guitar solo you play 7/7 though it sounded like 6/6 at first only that the feet play in a strange way; can you simply play 7/7 with one hand and 4/4 with the other at the same time so that you know the "rythm proportions" comparing them in one pulse or you just play a bit faster then 6/6... a stupid question maybe Thanks for all |
