| Comments: | i would like to add two things. first off, geoff's voice didn't sound that bad on stage so something weird must've been going on in the hall. sometimes it's really hard to get geoff's voice to cut through all the other noise that's going on, especially when it's taken a beating the nights before. i am genuinely sorry though for anyone who felt they weren't getting their money's worth and hopefully we can make it up to you at some point. secondly i'd like to point out the fact that the bar hooker has a real nice personality. |

| Comments: | hey michi, let me respond to your post. we had played 2 festivals the days before karlsrhue with fairly low monitor mixes....sometimes you run into that situation when you only get a linecheck. in the crazy wave club the soundguy was really good but we were the first band to ever play there so it was a fairly new setup..we actually tried to boost the stagesound with extra monitors but at that point my voice was just fucking strained. it blows, but sometimes that shit happens....it's no fun for me either. as far as me being on drugs, shit man i wish that i had had some. that might have have made things better for me. so, i'm sorry to dissapoint ya. we love playing and do our best every show, but like any situation in life there are things you can't always control. screaming into a mic can be a tricky business. but for 200K and 14 bucks yes that sucks....next time you see me say what's up and i'll buy ya a drink or something. peace. |

| Comments: | What was wrong with you guys in Karlsruhe??? The frontman obviously had more drugs than he could take and his voice was DEAD. Only a deep raspy mumbling. None of his great Melodies & none of his lyrics came through. Most of the songs where only recognizable by chords & backroung singers. And the worst part of it: nobody in the band even cared! It was like the band had a party with their bar-hooker and the audience wasn't invited.
Folks that's respectless: we didn't drive 200 km, payed 14 € each & waited 3 hours for the show, to listen to songs without ANY vocals. A disappointed fan. |

The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged a harness up for his cat so she wouldn't have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat! The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches. at first: thanks for all the good times your music gave to me and my family! I´ve bought all of your records throughout the years (it took a long time to get that "Ernesto´s Burning"-Cd here in Germany...almost 6 months or so, although I had a really good record store at that time...true!!!) and listen to them ever since. I just looked at the cover of "Basement Style" in a CD-Shop in Cologne back in 2001 and checked it out. Never heard a mixture like yours before and when "Shit Jobs For Rock" kicked in, I knew I had to buy that record...my cellphone has "Just the way it goes" as a ringtone...just think about that what you want... I´m some kind of addicted to music somehow... I just missed you live too often, but in Berlin I finally made it. I´ve bought a shirt and talked to you guys before the show during the "Pop.com"... There you played some cover songs and I found the "Armageddon Time"-Cover on your old page from the Dutch ska festival. I also tried to find out what covers else you played on that day (there was one song with a chorus like "everything I Said it´s gonna be alright" or something... don´t know that song and it´s not one of your own...can you tell me what song that was and where to get it? And that "Mr. Bobby"-live-version from the Europunk Compilation is also not available any more, right? Is there a little chance to see a whole cover-album of you guys? Really liked that "Running Away"-tune on Ernesto´s burning... Overall: you´re the only band (at least I know no other band except Sublime who are misfortunately gone...) that has the gift to mix punk, ska, reggae, dub, ROCK! and other influences in GOOOOOOD songs the way you do it and so I hope you can continue to do so for a long, long time! So, I wish you guys all the best in the next weeks/months and hope to see you once again here in Germany in the next year! Apparantly I know someone who is close to the direction of that stage, so I guess I could pursuede them to sign you. Still wairing the Jaya The Cat button that Geoff gave me in Eindhoven somewhere... in 2004, I guess. Nice to see you have another album out and was this the first time a single actually reached the Kink 40 (formerly the Outlaw 41) or is it just me? The bad thing is that I still haven't bought your latest album. Then again, I was probably one of the first few hundred in the Netherlands to have bought your first and actually traveled from Eindhoven to Utrecht once to go to a live-show with a friend of mine. If you remember, it was the not-so selled out show in the Ekko in 2003 or 2004, I guess. :) To be honest, it's lack of money, 'cause I'm currently in between jobs. Due to the fact that I wanted to go back to my birthground first and foremost. I'm living back in the deep-south-west now: Axel, Zeeland. But apparantly you can find higher-educated jobs in the IT sector (which was my study) here at cycle-distancies if you look hard enough. I'm a happy man now. Only bad thing: Effenaar, 013 and Tivoli are a little bit further away. :( Let me make a promise: I'll buy your new album as soon as I have a new job.
