She died of a skin disease that we fought for five years, probably brought about by being wormed with Strongid as a 4 week old puppy. We want our next dog to come from a reputable breeder with good, healthy lines, so we don't have to go through that heartbreak again. He was a 10 year old yellow lab we got from Gladys at Snowden Hills Labradors. We went to her after following the line of our first labrador "Ella" who we got from "Wing N Wave" Labradors. We loved them both so much. My husband and I both feel strongly about staying within the line. I have to admit, initially we thought the dogs would be be similar in personality. We could not have been more wrong, but also so delighted. As calm, gentle and refined as Ella was, Tank was 110 pounds of non-stop energy and a work ethic that would put anybody to shame.He actually learned to break into the refrigerator and would always eat the entire contents.
