| Comments: | During the early 60's I was sick (bad asthma) and had to stay inside all spring and summer (try to keep a 9 year old boy inside during the summer). My teenaged aunt felt bad, let me borrow a hifi with a bunch of 45's, of all the hits of the day including a lot of Cadence and WB EB stuff. I didn't know an A side from a B side but all I know is that I fell in love with The Everly Brothers and still love them to this day. |

| Comments: | We have been fans for a number of years, and their music and lyrics are very special to us. Our wedding rings are engraved "devoted to you" as it seemed say so much about love and commitment.
Caught their show in Ottawa, Canada in the early nineties and found a copy of the reunion tour from Albert Hall about six months ago. I think the disc is now only a fraction of its original thickness. The Everly Brothers and their music will be in our hearts forever, and we are so grateful to be able to say that we sat in one of their audiences. The harmony might occasionally be copied, but will never be mastered. Thank you Don and Phil for providing music lovers worldwide with such a unique sound, and incredible lyrics. I'm starting a group I know people of our age care about AMERICA... I have one group that is trying to BRAINSTORM how to pay the NATIONAL DEBT.. One is Donate and have it go directly to the National Debt...an other is to sell tee shirts and hats with the National Debt up dated on them all profits going directly to it. Sounds like jobs to me.. Then an other every month take a perk away form all in Washington till they fix it! Have a big billboard with the National Debt with updating every week! My gram, Margaret Fogarty Brasher, told me that her or her sister, Kate Fogarty Shakleford, use to babysit them when they were small. Now, I am wondering if it was in Kentucky or Chicago. They left Kentucky when the coal mines were closing. I am not sure what year it was when they relocated to Chicago. I sure would love to hear them sing again in person. |

| Comments: | Hi Don & Phil: Both my wife and I have been enormous fans for a very long time. So much so, that we had our wedding rings engraved with the wording "Devoted To You". First heard you live in Ottawa, Canada in the early 1990's and felt we were in heaven. I even went to the theater during the day with a note asking that you dedicate "Devoted To You" to Paulette. The song was very special to us. It was given to a stagehand who told me he would pass it along, but I think it still might be in his back pocket. However, EVERY PERSON ON EARTH should have an opportunity to catch your live show, and truly absorb your music and lyrics. "Amazing" is even a too soft a word to use.
We recently found a music CD of your reunion tour in Albert Hall. We play it twice daily at least, feeling that we are in the front row of the performance. Your presentation has not skipped a beat. We thank you for being such a major player in our music memories and providing us with such meaningful lyrics. The Everly Brothers will be in hearts and minds forever. | Comments: | As an 8 year old I did chores to save enough money to by "Wake Up Little Susie" on the Cadence label. I still have that record. As a teenage musician in the 1960's Don & Phils melodies and harmonies were ever present in my mind and the in the songs I wrote and played. I have always been attracted to bands that have great harmonies...that seem to resonate in your head and heart forever, just like the songs of the Everly Brothers. I always thought it would be great to meet Don & Phil in person to thank them for what they have done for music and people. I still play alot with great enjoyment, even at 61.
