I came to say hello at the Best of Manchester Poets Book Launch last Thurs. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed and appreciated it - along with all the work and skill you and the other Editors put into it. I thought there was a real welcome and warmth in the atmosphere which I think made it easy to tune in for people. Also, I really like the book. Watched your incredible, spirit-lifting, cheery vegan video on YouTube and boy oh boy, if all vegans were like you - not the obnoxious activists spraying fur coats but clever, highly intelligent, cheery supergood-looking female writers. :) I'm a vegan myself, which is the maddest thing you could ever do down here in Russia, but I already converted a bunch of commies here. :)) Also, I was amazed with your speech; at 5 minutes of video, you provided a lot of needful information and personal issues - which is admirable, cause nowadays, I can hardly name people with ability to TALK. Anyway, thanks for cheering me up so much! You know, I'm planning to go to UK this November - for the first time ever, which was my childhood dream - and would love to meet you and other members of Society.
