7 years ago I attended a Specialty Dog show in Perth. I bought candles with a band around it with photos of my dog breed. they were produced by Picture Candle in WA. they are still in excellent condition. My question - the Melbourne based breed dog club is holding the Specialty Show in 2012 and we are looking for items which we can sell to exhibitors. We are not a big club and have to raise all the money to hold this event. Can you make something similar and if so, how much would it cost? | Comments: | LOL...I just checked Tolly's pedigree and "we're" related now through Windrift Summertime Blues, small world! Summertime blues mated with trumpet's strike up the band and had trumpet's send in the clowns who mated with hermit's lucky lady who had hermit's promised land (Promise) who mated with Trumpet Pinball Wizard who had my dear Tolly (Hermit's blythe spirit).
What's odd about all of this is, I'm canadian married to an american and we retired to Mississippi where I was lucky enough to get Tolly and my brother married an australian and they both live in Brisbane...how convoluted is that! Sorry about the long winded diatribe I just found it amazing that one of your kee's descendants lives with us (and is totally spoiled rotten bye the way)! |

Tolly is teaching me how to show her since I'm new to both her and showing Kees and we have so much fun since she's now finished and shows as a special only! We also have four cats and I laughed when I saw the puppy begging for kitty food...Tolly loves the cat food so we have to keep it up on the counter or they wouldn't get any!

So wonderful to see so much information on Keeshonds I have had 3 wonderful keeshond dogs in 35years and have to say I dont think any dog has the personality and love a Keeshond gives . Our old dog now is 13years old and the aches and pains have set in but is he very much loved and he always know that I can get him feeling better again We have never showed our dog just the best companion any one could have. My Mum suprised me with my first ever dog about 4 years ago, (he is 4 and a half now) from a Keeshonden breeder. OakRidge Anjoloce ("Ben") is 4 1/2 years and his half brother, OakRidge Ah La Mode ("Jerry") is just a few months over 1 year. They are not show dogs but both their parents and many of theire litter mates have won one champion ranking or another here in the US. My husband came across your site today and we've enjoyed looking through it. I got a real kick out of the part in about Keeshonden that says shedding is not a major problem. We figure quantity must not included in your definition. As much as individuals in this breed are as different as night and day, our Ben could the twin of your Llewellyn.
