| Comments: | just found your site, lovely to see so many beautiful ponies! I have one of yours - grey gelding Top Rock Motley. Rocky to his friends,love him to bits! He lives with us in Standon Bowers with my Arab mare and donkey (the 'Bowers herd!')He is now 5 and a little cutie - great with children and broken to ride (well, we put a saddle on, he looked at it intently and that was that - riding pony!)
Our only problem is he is prone to laminitis - any tips? Are they your ponies in Cranberry ? If so it is so lovely to see them but how come they are not laminitic in that great big field? We are going to make Rocky his own little paddock of wood chips in the spring so he doesn't have to stay in so much - he isn't overweight but seems worse in the autumn? bright eyes, shiny coat, not over weight, lovely temprament, sadly laminitus curtails her movements, she is in the vets care and has good days and bad days, do you take any precautionary measures with your ponies to avoid this problem, (they all look stunning), dont know how you find the time to keep up to date with the web site , i was just browsing looking for any usefull information and came across your site. keep up the good work ,all the very best. paul. |
