I feel you gottA the Energy and you're truly one of type o' young guys at heart... Saw you live 9:00pm in Sweden, and fantastic view at the lightdevice with papa and it was funny and great to be able to dance alltime you played piano guitars and all. one couldnt stand still... that's amazing.plus the bandmembers you do have luck playing with this man. Let there be the real stuff. I see that there is the inner magic sparkle of you all inside getting us ppl on the outside. So wonderful to hear all the spirit of you all as one family. I think personally it is a fantastic age and you're young at heart... which makes way to be the inspiring force for all of todays rockers etc. They outta be greatful for you have probably teached generations digging Johnny B Good. Grown up to that song is so fun. |

| Comments: | Hello! I traveled from the south of Germany to Copenhagen just to see Jerry Lee Lewis again. What a great show it was!
It think he enjoyed the evening, i have never seen him in such a good mood before. The Forum was nearly sold out, i believe he liked to play for such a big crowd. He played longer than i expected, about 45 minutes and he was excellent! So it was worth the long journey. Denmark is such a great country, nice people & good food. Greetings to all danish Jerry Lee Lewis fans! It was a pleasure to stay here and i hope a can come back soon! Best wishes to all fans around the world - Bernd |

| Comments: | Just home from a good show with Jerry at the Forum in Copenhagen Denmark. A little short perhaps, Jerry was on stage for less than 50 minutes, but filled with solid performances from the master showman and his excellent backing band. Over 6 000 people were in attendance! About who Jerry is talking to before "Evening Gown". To me, it sounds like his ex-wife Kerrie. |

| Comments: | I got to see Jerry last night at French Lick, Indiana and it was fantastic. Jerry put on a wonderful show. He was the first concert to be held at French Lick and I hope he comes back. People from 6 to 86 were getting all shook up. Jerry is special because how many performers can get all ages involved in a show? Not many. But jerry is at the top of the list. |

| Comments: | Back in the '70's, I was playing in a live band in Memphis, and had the privilege of being part of the house band that played behind "The Killer" whenever he came in. I was the drummer and lead singer, and it was the most awesome experience I'd ever had. I'd been singing his songs all along, and now I had the chance to see and learn how to do them right. Without him knowing it, he was the best singing teacher anyone could ever have. He taught me how to put real feeling into my lyrics, and drive in my music. Since that time, the bands have come and gone, and I've turned to running my own Karaoke show, but I continue to sing. Jerry Lee's songs always find about a 30 minute spot in my shows. But , there are only about 16 or 17 songs available on karaoke tracks. I believe that a lot more of the "Killer"'s music should be on karaoke so that all of us can enjoy singing his songs, and got him further in the limelight. "The Last Man Standing" album would be a great addition to this. Each and every song is nothing short of great. It takes me back to the '70's, when "The Killer" taught me what music was all about, and I'll never be able to thank him enough. This new album shows us that "The Killer Rocks On" Thanks "Killer",,,from all of us. |

| Comments: | I'm a gentleman of 64 years young. I grew up in the 50's and 60's listening to the "Killer". This guy was named correctly. His music is a Killer!
My daughter gave me the Last Man Standing CD for Christmas and I want to tell you this man has not lost a step or a beat. All of the accompanyment with other great artists has only highlighted his great career. I'm an old rocker and greatly enjoy that type of music. That music I never get tired of. It has such a great beat that you can't stand still. When I'm at a fifties or sixties dance I can't sit still. I've got to dance. A lot of the music today is garbage. He's keeping the R & R in Rockin Roll. Hope he lives forever! An old Rocker! Malcolm Malley, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada |

| Comments: | Jerry Lee Lewis has been a big influince my whole life. growing up a preachers son i didnt have much choice in music it was either southern gospel or oldies so i choose the oldies music. When i was 9 i came across a sound like i had never heard before...the song was whole lotta shakin and from that moment on i was hooked. The killer has been a big impact on my life growing up and still today.
Currently i work in real estate during the day and at night i work in a dinner theater in maggie valley north carolina as ..what else a Jerry lee lewis impersonator and it is an honor to sing the true king of rock and rolls msuic. jerry thank you for the great music throughout the years..you have touched me with your music. it has brought me through alot in my life as a tribute i had a flaming piano tattooed over my heart as a symbol. the piano stands for the music, the flames stand for the fire of everyday life and the placement of the tattoo is for the meaning and love i have for the music as a J.L.L. impersonator. thank you jerry for what you have done in the music indrestry. I cant wait to see what the future has in store. thank you to the true king of rock and roll joe clark |

| Comments: | Have been a fan since early 1960's. First saw Jerry Lee live at Lincoln Park Ballroom, Dartmouth Mass., about 1965. What a show, "live" in every sense of the word!! Jerry Lee is one of those artists who can take any song, record it in his unmistakable style, and make it sound like his own. Have seen him 2 or 3 times since in the summer "tent concert" circuit. Be it country or rock, he gives it his all. Always an original, he was torching pianos long before bands had thought of smashing their instruments onstage! Long may the "Last Man Standing" keep that swagger and on rockin! |

| Comments: | I have just heard the full version of "Last Man Standing", a Christmas present from my brilliant sister.
Jerry Lee Lewis, you are ancient and you are still THE man! This album is a classic and I love every track. Jerry has not sounded so good for years. This is a historic album. God bless you Jerry Lee Lewis, I love you and I thank you for the brilliance you have produced over the years and on this new album. My group Emperor Stitt and the Ordinaires, due to the fact that I learned to play piano thanks to Jerry Lee, always show sounds of the Killer. This man will be around forever. Thank God for Jerry Lee Lewis. I do wish he would record one of my songs, I've been chasing him to do so since 1987! Come on Jerry, give a Scottish/Irish songwriter a chance. Oh and I hear you recorded "Bright Lights, Big City", we just recorded the same song, you ain't copying me after years of me copying you! |

| Comments: | Hi JLL Fans!
I still have 3 tickets from the Hamburg show of march 2006. Although this show was cancelled and thus never took place, I didn't receive a refund by the organizing agency(I believe it is Jazz & co, but I'm not sure about that). We received a letter that they were discussing how to refund the tickets but now,9 months later, I still don't have my money back (more than 100 euro's). I was wondering if there are more people with the same problem and if there are people who did get a refund. Maby all people who are still waiting for a refund should join somehow and force them to refund the tickets. Please let me know. Sincerely, |

| Comments: | saw jerry lee lewis in owensboro, ky last night.
seemed to arrive a tad bit late. i was getting worried when the band struck up like song four without the killer anywhere in sight. but finally he showed up and i never expected the emotions that arose within me. somehow found myself almost in tears getting to see the man whom my parents grew me up on. how many concerts they had seen. how i had never actually seen this legend of my time in person yet. then there he was. i thought how fortunate i was (how very lucky) to get to see those hands peck out those sounds. sounds that nobody else can pound out of any piano in creation. it was just a big deal to me. and i am smiling still today. the show ended a bit prematurely. went on just long enough to whett my appetite. then poop/he was gone. as if he had just played all he wanted to then he was gone. off into the night from which he had sho shortly before arrived. was it a dream? did it really happen? heck, i waited in line to get in tons longer than the show even lasted. but it was all worth it. the waiting. the line. the five hour drive. the overnight stay. and i feel very blessed and won't ever forget this concert for as long as i live. i love jerry lee's radical (i ain't playin' by anybody's rules but my own). i love his in your face style throughout his entire history. and i love how even today he continues to defies the odds or any natural or man made laws. he is unique. and he resembles a part of what my insides look like. cool beans. xo, ginger |

| Comments: | Dear Jerry Lee Lewis,
I hope you see this message. I have been a major fan for a long time. My pap first introduced me to your music when I was only 3 years old. I can remember dancing and singing to his old cassette tapes in the living room. When I was in sixth grade, I decided I wanted to play piano, thinking someday I could play at least 1/2 as good as you. Well I was wrong.....piano is not easy and improvising is definatelty not a peice of cake. I don't know how you do it. Anyway, about 4 months ago my pap called me and surprised me with tickets to your show at the Pepsi Roadhouse in Pittsburgh, PA in October. We were both so excited. He was especially excited because he has been waiting for this oppertunity for as long as I can remember. Well, you see my pap goes to Florida for the winter and when we found out the show was rescheduled for December we were heartbroken and in tears. I decided I would still go and see my all-time rolemodel play. Then, today my parents slipped and told me the whole concert in Pittsburgh has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. I am disappointed far beyond what anyone can imagine. I am afraid I will never get to see my rolemodel perform. It is both my pap's and my dream. If you or anyone else knows if and when he will perform anywhere near Pittsburgh again, please post it. heart-broken, Molly |

On the road that we go down today Like a train whistle blowing Their voices are starting to fade Hey some sing their praises, others tip their hat But it seems like we owe more than that (Roger Springer/Slugger Morrissette/Tony Martin) MESSAGE TO THIJMEN: Here in Holland 'Last Man Standing' is available at ALL the vanLeest and most of the Bijenkorf affiliates (it's 31 on vanLeest's Droomlijst/Alternative Album Top 40), most of the specialized/import record stores like the Plato affiliates ('Last Man Standing' is number 14 on their Album Top 100. Guess who brought some of these affiliaties and a buncha other record stores posters? ;-) but so far unfortunately NOT at the Free Record Shops and Media Markt (haven't been able to check on the Music Store affiliates yet). I've contacted Go! Entertainment (the recordcompany that released 'Last Man Standing' in the Benelux) about this. During the 'Last Man Standing' special I did for BRTO Radio's "Crossroads" (you can listen to it on www.altcountrycooking.nl), together with host Jos van den Boom, you can hear complete versions of 'Hadacol Boogie', 'Rock And Roll', 'Evening Gown', 'Pink Cadillac', 'Trouble In Mind', 'The Pilgrim' and other great Killer recordings. TO ROBERTO: I've passed your message on to Julie Yannatta and Jonathan Brill at Artists First and Jimmy Rip and Jennifer Berthelot at Shangri-La Entertainment. MESSAGE TO PETTER: In week 43 'Last Man Standing' dropped only two positions (from 26 to 28) on the Norwegian Album Top 40 which means it's still on there. MESSAGE TO CHRIS FROM HOLLAND (who posted a fan review of 'Last Man Standing' elsewhere on this site and also mentioned the Amsterdam show from 2004 in his review): Getting Jerry booked at the Paradiso in Amsterdam in 2004 and 2005, organising the pre-show meets/after parties both years (at The Three Sisters) and doing just about ALL the publicity for the mentioned shows and parties has cost me a lotta time, energy and own money (especially in 2005 after people/the media had spread lies on the showlength of the 2004 show). So therefor I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED a fan like you, who claims he was there himself (so should know better), writes it was almost half as long as it actually was (Jerry performed a 38 minute almost non-stop high energy show that year). Incorrect "information" on the 2004 show like this made it very hard for me to convince the fans to go and see Jerry the next year and as a result of this I had to work atleast twice as hard to get Jerry and band a packed Paradiso again. I urge everybody who is still spreading rumours like this to STOP doing this... Thank you for your co-operation. |

Called 2 Wal Mart Super Centers to see if they had any copies & how many- no dice. I'll call their Dept Managers in the daytime tomorrow to see if they can get some copies for me. My income is sparse, so I always go for the best price possible... meaning Wal Mart. But if they don't snap, I'll go to another store & pay more ! |

| Comments: | A BIG HELLO FROM THE JERRY LEE LEWIS BAND!
Spoke to ALL of Jerry's bandmembers last night/yesterday; Kenny Lovelace, Buck Hutcheson, B.B. Cunningham and Robert Hall. Needless to say they were all VERRY HAPPY with the success of 'Last Man Standing' in de States and here in Europe and looking forward to the show in Las Vegas tomorrow with Chuck Berry (who turned 80 last Wednesday! congratulations Chuck!) and Little Richard. I've just seen the FANTASTIC reviews in leading Dutch magazines Revu (Album Of The Week!) and Elsevier plus the one in Belgium's most popular Radio & TV guide Humo. Chills went down my spine while reading them... ALL THESE MAGAZINES are among the THOUSANDS OF ADDRESSES who've received my mailings on 'Last Man Standing' (besides many other promotional activities I've sent out over 5000 MAILINGS on the new album so far and more will follow........). Like I said before LET'S MAKE SURE JERRY GETS THE CREDIT, RECOGNITION AND RESPECT HE DESERVES NOW HE'S STILL WITH US AND CAN ENJOY IT!! | Comments: | Hello Petter and all other fans!
I agree about the show You arranged in Oslo in 1985, the longest and with many unusual songs. Total playing time was two hours, I believe. But the show in Stockholm two days earlier was also very special. It´s the only time I have seen Jerry Lee doing encores-and during the encores he played both guitar and fiddle. Also, the tour You arranged in 1989 was special. Jerry did a great 65 minute set in the Oslo Concert House-and before the show he signed my 78 rpm "High School Confidential"! But the finest video performances are from London 1964 and Paris 1981. I am grateful for all the memories and I am looking forward to seeing "The Killer" again. Take, Y´all! |

| Comments: | MESSAGE TO MICHAEL:
Thanks for your kind words. I really do appreciate it. The live versions of 'Great Balls Of Fire' and 'Meat Man' I used on this 'Last Man Standing' radio special (with my good friends James Burton and, of course, Kenny Lovelace on guitars) were recorded in September 1984 at E.M. Loew's Theatre in Worcester, Massachusetts. They have been released on the Silver Eagle Cross Country 'Jerry Lee Lewis Live' (1997) CD and were re-issued eight years by Disky on their 'In Concert' CD (2005). It's my all time favourite live album. EVERYTHING is right about these live recordings! Jerry and the band are on topform and the songs as well as the mix/sound are superb (!) but most of all Jerry's piano is UPFRONT! By the way, I dedicated the one hour 'Last Man Standing' radio special to Jerry Lee, Jimmy and Kenny (also wanted to mention Steve Bing but forgot due to the timepressure!). MESSAGE TO CAROL: Jimmy Rip who was one of the people I sent your message about the problems at Wal-Mart to has replied in the meantime and wrote: "Thanks Tex ...we're on it." and Julie Yannatta (at Artists First) said: "I’ll forward this to our head of sales." Thanks again for bringing this to our attention Carol! MESSAGE TO Y'ALL! Please don't forget to request songs from 'Last Man Standing' on the radio, write magazines about it (a Google search will help you find the addresses), pass on the news to friends, put messages on the internet (pop- , rock-, country-, blues and other forums, message boards, fansites of the guestartists etc.) etc. etc. IT'S NOW OR NEVER Y'ALL!! Theo Oldenburg of WWW.ALTCOUNTRYCOOKING.NL has informed me he's decided, since he likes it so much, NOT to remove the 'LAST MAN STANDING' RADIO SPECIAL I did for Dutch station BRTO RADIO yet ('Crossroads', October 6th). This means you can still listen to it on WWW.ALTCOUNTRYCOOKING.NL if you've missed it or wanna hear it again. The initial plan was to replace it by something else either today or yesterday. DUTCH RELEASE 'LAST MAN STANDING' OCTOBER 20TH!!! NEDERLANDSE RELEASE 'LAST MAN STANDING' 20 OKTOBER!! |

| Comments: | Hello Jerry Lee and all,
This is to inform Jerry's people that I had a hard time purchasing his new album (Last Man Standing) in Wal-Mart. On the day it was released, they did not have it in the proper place in their store. It should have been under new releases and they said "they did not get any in" but we found it (that day) eventually in the 80's music. I wanted to purchase it from the store as when I got his Life Time CD'S (which) I ordered on the intenet, I had to wait for it. I did not want to wait for his new CD. Anyway my sister never found it in her Wal-Mart in Phoenix and my Daughter-in-law had looked for it in her neighborhood Wal-Mart and she did not find it either. So this is to inform whoever can do something about in Jerry's camp. I told them about it in my local Wal-Mart and scolded them politely for having it in the wrong section. Yesterday I was in the store and they did not have one of the CD's available. What's that all about? Hope Phoebe or someone can contact Wal-Mart and get somebody on the ball. Sincerely, Carol |

Go Entertainment's (www.go-entertainment.com) mister Sjaak de Bruijn kindly send me a copy of the Dutch pressing of 'Last Man Standing' which I received yesterdaymorning and will be released in Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg Octobert 20th! The packing is slightly different from the U.S. release but also looks just great! I personally believe it "might be a good idea" (and this is an understatement of course...) to request songs from 'Last Man Standing' on the radio, write magazines about it (a Google search will help you find the addresses), pass on the news to friends, put messages on the internet (pop- , rock-, country-, blues and other forums, message boards, fansites of the guestartists etc.) etc. etc. (I've already sent approximately 5000 so I'm "doing the best that I can" and more will follow....)This is THE moment we've been waiting for all these years, this is our chance to make a difference.. Every individual e-mail counts!! Let's get The Killer, George Jones, Little Richard, Merle Haggard, Buddy Guy, Willie Nelson, B.B. King and his other 16 great guests (back) on the charts! They're counting on you...... and I am too!! THANK YOU ALL! "Maaaaaaaaaaaailing my life awaaaay. I like to mail and roll and I do it every night and daaaaaaay!!" P.S. Big hello to Petter!! |

Trying to get in touch with him about his great new album. As a Georgian who has lived near Atlanta all my life, the radio sounds of the 50's will be with me forever. Just wanted to invite Mr. Lewis by Stockbridge to help me work out that piano styling on "Before the Night Is Over". Most excellent I'd say. I've been banging the boogie woogie out on the house piano since I was five. Come on by Jerry If you're in town. Just taking a shot at it like he did. And the rest is history! Thank you Mr. Lewis for the lesson. |

| Comments: | I just want Jimmy Rip to know what a great GIFT he's given to all of us, and to the killer. Jimmy: your production values on the Last Man Standing album -- so clean, direct and uncluttered -- are out of this world. I saw an interview with you on the web, and it's clear that you truly care about Jerry Lee and his music. How refreshing to see someone with simple selfless values.
And -- what a surprise to hear actual good music coming through, instead of BS production gloss and frills. Thank you Jimmy for keeping the record companies OUT of the equation, and for clearing the way for Jerry Lee to just be Jerry Lee. Unlike many newer artists, the killer doesn't need the crutch of recording glitter. I'm 51 and one of my very earliest vivid memories is of my older brother blaring out Great Balls o'Fire on his little record player. That SOUND just grabbed me -- even as a 4 year old, and has never let go. I suppose that's also why the sound on Last Man Standing also knowcked me out. THANKS Jimme and Jerry Lee!!!! |

Long time since 1992 and Kings Hotel! Hello to Morgan about"the best show with Jerry". You missed this one in Wales,England.Jerry Lee meeting, where the fans, including Tex and me not only stood in the front of the stage but also on the stage when The Killer did his show!(PS!Missing all the fun we had back then,Tex). Morgan, for me the best show with our man was Oslo(my hometown)1985 when he maybe played with the best backing-group ever(I know that he used this band for the whole tour, but Oslo was the longest live-show! But I have seen on film, maybe the best show ever!Paris 1981. Where are you,Hans Jabell?Tell us about it!!!!!! Petter. |

Great work Tex ....you're one in a billion !!!! We had a great intimate filming of Jerry , Merle Haggard, Kenny and myself sitting around the piano playing lots of old songs for the new DVD on Tuesday .Merle and Jerry were in top form ! I was reading the fan reviews on the Start Page ....I can't tell you how much all the positivity and good wishes mean to Steve and I ....we made this record for the fans and it makes me feel ten feet tall to know how much everyone is enjoying it . We played a short show outdoors at the Hollywood and Highland Virgin Megastore in LA yesterday which was packed to the rafters with young and old who all got down with the Killer and his Killer Band ....I don't think I've I've ever seen him smile so much , he's truly back in a way I don't think he's ever been before . BRTO RADIO'S 'LAST MAN STANDING' JERRY LEE LEWIS SPECIAL NU OOK OP INTERNET TE BELUISTEREN! Benelux release 'Last Man Standing' 20 oktober a.s. door Go Entertainment www.go-entertainment.com!! Keep on rockin' y'all!! | Comments: | Nice to read fans comments about different concerts they have seen over the years. As for myself, I have experienced The Killer live 18 times since 1983. First time I saw him was in Frankfurt, Germany april 9(I think)1983, last time was in Farum, Denmark march 3 this year. I have so many fond memories, not only for seeing the shows, but also because of all the nice fans I have met and become friends with. I also have been fortunate enough to meet Jerry Lee on several occasions. The first time was backstage in Cleveland, Mississippi on september 25 1983. We, my friend Magnus Wollter and myself, managed to get great pictures of us posing with Jerry Lee as well as some autographs. The best shows I have seen was in 1985 when I saw three shows in three days in Stockholm(april 4) and Norrköping(april 5)in Sweden and in Oslo, Norway(april 6). Total playing time for these shows was more than five hours! By far the worst I have seen was in Gothenburg, Sweden, in 1998 where Jerry mumbled and stumbled his way through a miserable 25 minute set. But that was an exception to the rule. Most of the shows I have seen have been very good or even excellent. A proud moment for me was when Jerry Lee performed in my hometowen Malmö, Sweden march 27 1997. Many of You out there probably have it on video because it was televised as well. It would be nice to read about some other experiences from fans. Well, that´s all folks. Tonight I´m going to watch Jerry Lee with Neil Young on David Letterman. It´s on Swedish televison chanell 6 tonight at 1.35 am. |

"I can still hear the music in the restroom"(Bogie Woogie Country Man 1975) Great title for a song,it`s there you give all of your minds to what you are going to do next.Believe it or not Wonder what The Killer was thinking about when he recorded the song? Just superb! PS! one of the most beautiful ballads Jerry has recorded are "Think about it darlin`"1972 |

| Comments: | Great to be in touch with Petter Bakke again! It´s been a long, long lonely, long time, hasn´t it? I sort of agree with You on Last Man Standing but I think it will stand the test of time. Other great albums that will have to be considered in my onpinion are: "The Greatest Live Show On Earth"(Smash 1964), "By Request: More Of The Greatest Live Show On Earth"(Smash 1966), "In Loving Memories"(Mercury 1970), "Touching Home"(Mercury 1971), "The Session"(Mercury 1973), "Country Memories"(Mercury 1977) and, yes, "Killer Country"(Electra 1980). I also think that "Boogie Woogie Countryman"(Mercury 1975) and "Odd Man In"(Mercury 1975) has some outstanding INDIVIDUAL great tracks, but as a whole, in terms of albums, no. Take care, Petter, and all other fans, once again, it was nice getting in touch with You. |

| Comments: | Not so easy to put Last Man Standing into any position.
The recordings are too new.Jerry`s Elektra album no.1 has been played severals time(read plenty). Not so difficult to put that one up to high grade. Wait 10 more years, maybe for many people around,LMS are the greatest! Anyway,my favorite album no.one are: Killer Country 1980. Sun days:Greatest 1958. Smash/Mercury:Boogie Woogie Country Man. The others fom 80ties and 90ties are "laid back" |
| Name: | Morgan Sjöberg |

| Comments: | The following albums are the ten greatest ever from The Killer in my humble opinion:
1. "Live At The Star-Club, Hamburg"(Phillips 1964). 2. "She Even Woke Me Up To Say Goodbye"(Smash 1969). 3. "Another Place, Another Time"(Smash 1968). 4. "She Still Comes Around(To Love What´s Left Of (Smash 1968). 5. "Sothern Roots"(Mercury 1973). 6. "Jerry Lee Lewis"(Electra 1979). 7. "There Must Be More To Love Than This"(Mercury 1970). 8. "Last Man Standing"(Artists First 2006). 9. "The Return Of Rock"(Smash 1965). 10."Young Blood"(Sire 1995). Sun? Well, Sun was never really into the album age and the two that were released during Jerry Lee´s tenure with the label have exellent individual tracks but does not hold up as albums. But if I made a list of singles several from Sun would have been included, of course. I also would like to stress that the ten albums could have been interchangeble with several almost as good ones. It would be nice to see other fans list their favorites in a similar fashion as above. C´mon, Killers! |

| Comments: | Hey I just want to let you all know that Jerry Lee's new album is the BALLS!! You absolutely MUST buy this record. His version of Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll" alone is worth the price for the CD; never mind his duets with Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood (playing a sweet pedal steel guitar) on Jagger's song "Evening Gown"; his duet with Springsteen on "Pink Cadillac" is awesome (and I don't even like Springsteen hardly at all)!
Highlights: Jerry Lee and Keith Richards on the hilarious "That Kind of Fool" ("It's not that I don't love you/ but there's some things I can't do"!!); The Neil Young duet is magnificent ("You Don't Have to Go"); Merle Haggard and Jerry on "Just A Bummin' Around"; With George Jones on "Don't Be Ashamed of Your Age"... BUY IT! NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! AND>>>>> IF you are lucky enough to have the chance to see Jerry Lee Lewis live... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! He kicks ass! Thank You Jerry Lee Lewis for all your great music and for being who you are, a crazy man and one hell of a musician on a mission to spread the Gospel of Rock and Roll! Keep on Preachin', Preacher! | Comments: | I attended the taping last night of the upcoming PBS special and it was awesome. I just wanted to mention that the band included the fabulous Nils Lofgrin on guitar and Jim Keltner on drums, along with Ronny Wood who played most of the night. Everyone was great with Buddy Guy kicking it up a notch and then Kid Rock really bringing out the rock and roll in a night that had been mostly country till then. It should make a spectacular show and there is another taping today with Willie Nelson. |

| Comments: | Dear Jerry,
for 32 years is your music a part of my life. In 1974 I was a 16year old boy, when I first listened to "Great Balls of Fire". I was impressed and changed from classical piano to Boogie-Woogie and Rock´n`Roll. I still enjoy playing the piano in the german amateur-band "Die Falschspieler". Keep on rocking! Happy Birtday! Yours Dr. Damm |
