They filmed part of the movie at my high school. Coronado High in Scottsdale, Arizona. They also filmed Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure at Coronado too. | Comments: | The last time I saw Brandon was when we talked in line in high school either signing up for classes in junior or senior year (that'd be Fall of 85 or 86) in Richardson TX. | Comments: | I went to elementary school in North Dallas with Brandon and his younger brother, Jason. I've lived in Pennsylvania since 1987, and recall learning when I visited Dallas in the early 90s that Jason was killed in a car wreck. It was always a bit strange to see the fellas on TV in the early years. If I recall, the boys originally got started in a spot for Dairy Queen that never aired. I remember seeing Jason in spots for Scholtzsky's subs and Big Red soda. It was even weirder to see them after I moved to the east. Brandon was in Aerosmith's reissued video for "Sweet Emotion", and his late younger brother appeared as the boy who takes Tom Cruise's object of desire to the prom in the movie "Born on the Fourth of July". Living in PA and unaware of this, I went to see this film when it was released and remember freaking out when Jason's scene came on the screen. My Pennsylvania friends thought I was blowing some sereious smoke when I tried to explain that I knew the kid. So it goes. |

I am an old friend of Brandon's. Went to Junior High and High School with him down here in Dallas, TX (although he left the private school we went to after his Junior year). We were actually very good friends. I remember numerous "sleep overs" we had (mostly 8th and 9th grade). He's a great guy. It's too bad I've lost touch with him. I think I only saw him once while he and I were in college. I remember specifically when he got interested in acting. In fact he and I spent one "college day" (where the different schools send representatives to the high school) together searching out good pre-Law schools. I remember him deciding to forego the law stuff and try to make it in acting. I think its great that he has done that. I could tell you his real last name, but he probably wouldn't appreciate that. :) I didn't know he has no middle name, but I could have told you he was left-handed and he played football in Jr. High and also was on the wrestling team. One of the bigget things I remember was that he and I were both very short/small in Jr. High. We were both ~4' 11" in 8th grade and weighed ~80lbs. Probably one reason we stuck together! Actually, he was just a really cool friend. :) I don't know if he'll get his e-mail on the angelfire account, but I'm going to try and send him an e-mail.
