| Comments: | Nice site. Under 415 Squadron, the Argus did not retire in January, 1968 (the Neptune retired about then, but it was at 2(M)OTU and 407 Squadron). 415 Squadron remained active with the Argus until 1980. I was the career manager who got to move the people from Summerside to Greenwood for conversion to the CP-140 Aurora and was later Deputy Commanding Officer of 415 Squadron. |

| Comments: | I very much enjoyed seeing your patch collection - mostly because your images provide so much detail.
In your Canadian Coast Guard section, you have a patch labeled "trade badge ????" It is the trade badge of CCG personnel qualified as "deck crew." The article about the Canadian Coast Guard at http://www.Wikipedia.org shows the other trade badges and rank insignia. |

| Comments: | Hi there, I'm sure you're not interested, but to me, it's worth asking. My Grandfather just passed away and he was stationed with No10 Repair Depot. Unfortunately his belongings were destroyed after the war. I'm a serving member of the Canadian Forces as an Airfield Engineer and I was wondering, if for the sake of nostalgia, you'd be willing to sell the No10 Rep. piece you have. I know you're a collector and I can appreciate the fact you may not want to lose this piece. If not, where should I be looking out for an opportunity to buy the same piece? Thanks so much. |

| Comments: | Hi J.F.! I like your site!
I did my Basic training course at Bagotville, Qc, in 1975 Then, I did my glider pilot course at CFB Trenton, Ont. (we flew at Mountain View airfield, nearby), in 1976. And I did my powered plane course the next summer (1977) at CFB St-Hubert, near Montréal. Overall, a great experience. Too bad I did not follow through and continue flying afterwards... Charles p.s. I still have my Glider Pilot insignia, so I could send you a scan of it. Just let me know what address to sent it to. Also, a French version of your site would ne nice. |

| Comments: | RCSCC Admiral Hose was the High School Cadet Corps for Riverside Ontario (Now part of Windsor). It was disbanded when the High School Cadet Program was ceased. NLWC Admiral Hose was the Wrenette Corps that formed in the late 60's early 70's and paraded with RCSCC Agamemnon until the law changed to allow "Persons" to join. I've started communities in Facebook for both Corps. Maybe you can find some more info from there. |

| Comments: | Hi JF Chalifoux
I have just looked at a little of your collection and I am most impressed. I had no idea that people are collecting crests and I just put a few of my dad's old crests on ebay for the heck of it. Out of the 18 that I have put on I sold 17 so far and a new 6 this week. I worked in the business all through school and then full time when I graduated and took over full management when my dad passed on in 1967. I did all the silk screen work for a good many years. I old Percy's Felties in 1971 and moved to Salt Spring Island B.C. Wayne |

I used to be an officer and have old badges from my Admiral Landymore officer days and kept some souveniers from that time but my children are now cadets in both corps in Brantford Ontario. I'd be willing to send you pics but unless they don't want them ...I just gots to keep the badges. Great job though. |
