Just wanted to add what a year its been for EDSB, putting together a new routine and entering 3 contests around the county were we won many awards and came runner up in the TYMBA National Finals! WOW... What a achivement!!!! WELL DONE TO EVERYONE!!!!!! esp my Percussion Section!
Mel and myself are already hard at work on the 2007 routine and music where we WILL be going out next season and winning ALL Contests and Finals in Cannock!!!!!!
Also planning to double the size of the band so any friends please bring them along, adding to our tune list and lots of fundraising and shows!!!!
Good luck for the New Years Day Parade im sure your show London what ENFIELD is made of!!! (though myself, Mel and Gems might be a bit hungover still...)
Lets kick some arse in 2007!!!!

I was involved with the Band from the start, having been asked by the then DC Stan Reid to oversee things from a 'Scouting' point of view. There was an excellent bandmaster who had a military background - sorry, can't remember his name.
After nearly 20 years with the 3rd Enfield Air Scouts and then a few years with the 1st Henham in Hatfield Forest District, Essex, I'm now living in Steeple Bumpstead and am a member of Halstead and Colne Valley District Fellowship.
Best wishes to all my old friends in Enfield and good luck to the District Band.

I think our Bank leader at the time was someone called Yan ? and we used to meet up in a school hall somewhere around Ponders End.

What colour is the Pearl snare? Ours are orange laquered and come from the Pipe Band range, and we use front mounting carriers rather than slings because we march a kind of show-style.
