My future hubby is a NJ man that I didn't expect to get into the spirit of things but I sware he had more fun than our respective children. No complaints...loved the cold, and the feeling of roughing of it. Coming back for my daughter and I bday's in Jan. Thanks again for making us feel part of the family. |

| Comments: | Wildwood Campground, I wanted to drop you guys a note and say "thank you" for the wonderful hospitality that was shown to my husband and I..along with our additional family members that came later. Our grandchildren had their very first camping experience in a REAL TENT and had a blast. Their voices chattering in the early morning hours were so cute to hear. We had a beautiful site with a great view of the pond and ducks. The days couldn't have been any prettier (no rain in sight!)..and the nights..well..thank GOODNESS for portable heaters, LOL!..and Terry..couldn't you make a DETOUR sign for those truckers??!! By the third night..we slept great! Thank you for your sympathy during the loss of our little chihuahua, Peanut. We had no idea she would go downhill so fast, but she had a great time her last day on earth, and I thank God for that! Again, thank you! Lori and Les

The week started off terrible but you both made it a lot more bearable with all of the help that you gave us. Your web site says it right, "come as campers and leave as friends". I agree with this and look forward to coming back to see you again when we get everything fixed! I hope that Terry made it back okay on Sunday after getting our camper home safely. | Comments: | AS WE ARRIVED WE THOUGHT WE WERE AT OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. WE WERE WELCOMED BY TERRY AND HE WAS A WONDERFUL HELP TO US AS WE ARE FIRST TIME CAMERS. HE LED US TO OUR SITE AND STAYED TO MAKE SURE WE WERE SET UP. HIS HOSPITALITY WAS AMAZING AND WE REALLY FELT WELCOMED. AS MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE HEADED TO THE BATH HOUSE WITH TOWELS IN HAND AND SHOWER BAG ON SHOULDER A LADY SPEEDED BY IN HER GOLF CART AND SAID THEY WERE CLOSED FOR CLEANING....THIS WAS AT 9AM. SHE FLEW BY SO FAST HOLLERING "WOMANS BATH HOUSE IS CLOSED FOR CLEANING!!!" THAT I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TIME TO ASK WHEN IT WOULD BE OPEN. I FELT THIS A LITTLE RUDE. LATER AS SHE SAT ON HER PORCH SHE DID TELL ME IT WOULD BE OPEN IN 5 MIN...THIS WAS AFTER I HAD COOKED AND SERVED BREAKFAST TO MY FAMILY OF 4. THAT WAS NOT A WELCOMED MORNING AND THREW OFF OUR PLANS FOR THE DAY BECAUSE OF THE WAIT. BUT I DO HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THE BATH HOUSES WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE WATER WAS HOT AND HAD WONDERFUL PRESSURE! ONCE I FINALLY GOT TO SHOWER. WE VERY MUCH ENJOYED OUR STAY THERE WERE JUST A FEW THINGS THAT KINDA DELAYED OUR PLANS AND MADE THINGS A BIT INCONVIENENT. ANYTIME WE NEEDED SOMETHING FROM THE STORE WE HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO GO TO IT AND OPEN IT UP. THIS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF FOUR TIMES. ALTHOUGH THE OWNERS LIVE ON SITE, IT IS IN MY OPINION THAT SOMEONE BE IN THE STORE AT ALL TIMES FOR THE CONVIENCE OF THE CAMPERS, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LUNCH DINNER AND BREAKS. WE DID NOT LIKE HAVING TO TRACK SOMEONE DOWN EVERYTIME WE NEEDED TO GET IN THE STORE. WE EVEN TOOK OUR OWN TRASH UP TO THE MAIN TRASH CANS. AND THE ARCIADE THAT IS LISTED ON THE WEBSITE WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND AS WE COULD TELL. THANK GOD FOR THE Wii WE BROUGHT FROM HOME! OVER ALL IT WAS A WONDERFUL TRIP. AND I HOPE THAT MY HONESTY DOESNT KEEP THIS FROM BEING IN THE GUEST BOOK BECAUSE I FEEL THIS IS THINGS OTHERS SHOULD BE AWARE OF. THE SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY WAS AMAZING AND EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. WE WILL BE RETURNING AND HOPEFULLY SOONER THAN LATER. IT JUST SEEMED LIKE THINGS WERE SET UP FOR THE FAMILY'S THAT LIVE THERE AND NOT THE VISITING CAMPERS. GOD BLESS WILDWOOD CREW AND HOPEFULLY YOU TAKE CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISM THE WAY ITS MEANT TO BE DELIVERED. TAKE IT EASY AND TERRY..."GET ER DONE!" |

| Comments: | We just went on our first camping trip this past weekend. We bought a camper a couple of weeks ago and decided to camp at wildwood our very first time. The people were nice and we had a great time even though it was wet and we had to skip the campfire this time. Guess that means we'll have to come back before the marshmallows go bad. We'll be back sooner than that. We had a great time. |

| Comments: | Hope to see you soon. We are avid bicyclists and can't wait to try the James River Heritage trail and as far as I can tell, it's not too far from you guys.
Always looking for a nice campground (in the south) with good bike trails in proximity. Also a campground to stay on the way to farther south. I was born a Yank, but I have loved the south since the two years+ with the Marines and Camp Lejeune NC. I also agree with Gen. McCausland and the southern troops that burnt our town. But, my ancestors we were so stupid they rebuilt it. Give a month or so, some days with predicted 60's and sunny, we'll be there. |

| Comments: | Hey just wanted to say how much my family enjoyed camping there on the weekend of the chili cook off! Since then I have raved to everyone about your campground! Everyone made us feel welcomed and there was plenty for the kids to do. When my family said we were going camping at the end of summer i was worried. I have 3 kids and they get bored really fast and it had been awhile since I had been camping. After the first day I had no worries, the kids and adults enjoyed themselves and had plenty to do! I plan on making it back for the next cook off and will never hesitate to go camping again!(especially there)I loved it and they do make you feel like a part of their family! So take it from someone that knows how you feel and take a chance on this campground cause you will love it like my family did! The kids even want to go camping instead of the beach now! Love you guys and plan on seeing you this summer! |

We have camped at Wildwood many times over the past few years and will continue to come back. We enjoy all of their hospitality from college football on the big screen to the live music in the pavilion. When I call on the phone they know me like an old friend. That's what I call service. They have always bent over backward to give us a great time camping.

| Comments: | I have heard great things about Wildwood from my cousin and his family of four who rave about all the great things for the kids, and hope to stay with you soon. In regard to the comment about paying the extra $5 for a child, we did stay at another campground just up the road on Rt 130 with comparable facilities that included 2 children at no extra charge, but it was $10 more for the camp site, go figure. So this really allows you to pay only for what need to use. Pretty fair in my book.

| Comments: | We camped Wildwood in late summer of 08' really enjoyed the campground and staff. Very nice. We really enjoyed the tree cover, made us feel like we were out in the woods. We were treated very well! We appreciate the security of the campground as well. The only negative: We do not like being charged $5.00 a night for our son. That does not constitute a Family campground. We generally do not camp at grounds that charge for each person in the family. Takes away from the family campground. Everything else is great. |

I want everyone to know what good people you all are and how much we have enjoyed our stay here.We moved to va. with the ententions of staying a few weeks from iowa,even checked out another campsite but loved it here not only for the beautiful sites but the way you all treated us.I will always treasure the way you all helped us out,needless to say all the fun we had staying here.There is always something going on from hulas to blue grass to holloween.We will be back for sure. Just when you think things could'nt possibly get any better, the Farmers and their super staff surprise you once again! The ongoing fun & activities here at Wildwood are only surpassed by the genuine friendliness and true "family" atmosphere that Donna, Terry and Kerry Farmer have developed at this campground. It doesn't matter if you are a "regular" like us or a first-time camper, they outdo theirselves to make everyone feel like they "belong" to this "famly of campers". I can't say enough about Wildwood; being here just makes you "feel good all over"! I can't think of ANYWHERE else that I have loved to camp more than I do at Wildwood!
