She is my great-great grandmother and I am looking for information on her. I have some but I am not sure if it is correct. My grandparnets have passed and my Uncle's and Aunt's are gone and then their is my Mother who is sick and does not quite remember things the way she used to. | Comments: | hi there I have just had a 5 year old Bichon frise called Kayla die of the disease your beau did ,I did not know she was ill till one morning she woke with bile over her and blood in her urine this was about the beginning of January 2007 so my loss is still pretty painful ,did not dream she would die I took her to the vets they tried to save her she died 3 days later she did not seem to know I was there when I visited her for the last time even though her eyes were open ,I often noticed she panted an awaful lot told the vets this from time to time but never thought it was a problem I feel it may have been a symptom now of her having this for some time do you agree ,I have her mother who is fine just had 5 pups I named 1 wee girl Kayla hope her new owners keep the name bye for now FAY |

I am age 82, but I still remember my (and Perry's) grandmother, Luvena Henry Wilson, telling me about an OGG connection to their family in Iowa, but I'm not sure that she knew what it was. | Comments: | Hello there. Love your dogs. I have 4 right now, 2 are brothers from the same litter; they are 9 year old peekapoos. Pistol and Socks. Pistol likes to sleep in the clothes basket too.He is a very sensitive guy.He saved my husband from a tornado,I was in driving school and he was solo in the truck , (with socks and pistol of course) he stopped at a rest area to sleep and Pistol about drove him nuts to go he didnt want to stay there. He had no sooner left the rest area, and a man asked him over the cb if he knew what happened in the rest area behind him. A tornado turned 3 trucks over and one man was decapitated. I love my dogs.I have a year old Chow/Shepherd mix named Lucky Bear. Then there is Otis, he is of course a black and tan Pug. We found him, someone dumped him out on the side of the road,I couldnt stand to see him not being cared for.The first Poodle I ever had lived to be 17 years old. He was fiesty up to the end. I know how it feels to loose one when you are so close to them.
I was looking at your site because as you can guess, I am a Detwiler,born in Indiana PA. Thought maybe you may be related somehow. I now reisde in San Antonio Texas. Good job on the site. |

| Comments: | Surfing around I found my Grandfather Arthur H. Whitney in your data base. Upon looking further I find the connection to be through the Ivey Family. Thomas John Ivey was married to Sarah Jane (Sally) Boicout.
My Mother was a Whitney, her Mother an Ivey Sarah Jane or Sally would be my Great Great Grandmother. Your home page in interesting and I see that you probably got most of this information from Jean Boicourt. I and another cousin on the Ivey side have shared our family info with her. I did not go through it all this time but she had several errors that I had her correct. Now I find my Mother listed as living. That would be great she would be 102 years old. I don't imagine I would have anything new and different to add at this point but its always fun to find there might be another cousin out there. Rose Zella |
