Recognizing Mooseheart Girls Athletics from the MAA nomination process through induction into the MAA Mooseheart Hall of Fame… we need everyone’s help/action from all MHS Classes. Our MHS Girls presently in the MAA’s Mooseheart Hall of Fame – are: Susan (Jayne ‘78) Fowler in 1993 JoAnn (Dumochel ‘67) Kickler in 2010. Therefore, I am as this year's MAA Past President officially proposing and asking for MHS Alumni comments - both public and private messages, so that we may get initial input / feedback / nominations / helpers and via MAA’s Facebook, Guess book, mail in order that we can get information to William Harvey, Secretary of the MAA, and our MAA Board: I would like to place in motion that our MAA Board officially set up, on Saturday September 29, 2012: “A Mooseheart Girl's Athletic Records Committee” (suggestion-Sandi Aurand) Committee’s primary functions would be to collect Mooseheart Girl's athletic historical information, stories, newspaper articles, teams and participant’s, pictures, records, and documents via mail, e-mail and/or Facebook. I would love to bring him out and participate in the events with him. Before I make arrangements, though, I really need to know what to expect--such as the activity schedule, etc. and where there is some what that my dad could be recognized at one of your events, since, to the best of my knowledge, all of his classmates have since passed on, I would really make the effort to get him there. (I think this has the potential to be great for both my dad, Mooseheart, and your organization.) Thanks for your time. |

I was part of the celebration as we watched the class of 63 graduate and we celebrated our new field house. Time sure flies! I'm also seeking a graduate Robert Lee "Swannie" McCreary, class of 1964. | Comments: | I am looking for a friend that lost her home and everything in the last hurricane in punta gorda. I was told that she was living in a fema trailer toward lakeland fl. But i have not been able to locate her. She had just burried who died in georga while moving north when the hurricane hit. When she called it was just before Christmas and sounded very depressed. I since lost the email address to contact her. I have looked and looked for her to no advail. I now going through any contact that we discussed. She was from decatur ill. Her parents were indian. She lived on the farms most of the time because she like it better. She had done thing to make her to be kept there. We were about the same age. I graduated in 1968. And I miss her so much. I know she planned to go to the retirement villiage that was run by you. She kept trying me to have my father join the moose lodge so we could retire together. I don't know if she did that. I know she wasn't recieving much to live on after the hurricane. I know that she is a barber and had her own shop before the hurricane.
