But i have not been able to locate her. She had just burried who died in georga while moving north when the hurricane hit. When she called it was just before Christmas and sounded very depressed. I since lost the email address to contact her. I have looked and looked for her to no advail. I now going through any contact that we discussed. She was from decatur ill. Her parents were indian. She lived on the farms most of the time because she like it better. She had done thing to make her to be kept there. We were about the same age. I graduated in 1968. And I miss her so much. I know she planned to go to the retirement villiage that was run by you. She kept trying me to have my father join the moose lodge so we could retire together. I don't know if she did that. I know she wasn't recieving much to live on after the hurricane. I know that she is a barber and had her own shop before the hurricane. | Comments: | Photo Richard Paul Brown Richard Paul Brown, age 40, was born in Granite City Illinois to his father, Richard Brown (deceased) and his mother, Joanne Brown, who resides now in North Carolina. He lived many years in Aurora, and was a student at Mooseheart. He was a printer for 22 years. He is survived by his much loved sons, Richard Paul Jr., age 15 and Brandon Paul, age 13, and their mother, Tracy Brown; two sisters, Michelle Teichman of Dalesville, WI and Sheila Davis of Clearwater Beach, FL. And one brother, Steven Brown of Dunedin, FL; one nephew, Drew, and three nieces, Blakely, Sophia, and Samantha; special cousins Jeffrey and Gregory, and Uncle John. A happy, fun loving and hard working fellow, "Rico" as he was called, is also survived by friends Tom Reller, Kevin, Kristina, and Tom and Cindy. And we can't forget his Irish Club and printing friends. He will be much loved and long remembered and missed by all who knew him. In passing on Richard will be running into the arms of his grandmother, who loved him dearly. Richard passed away on February 14, 2010, and was cremated by the Cremation Society of Illinois. Contributions to a welfare fund for his sons may be made to the Richard Brown Beneficial Fund, in care of First American Bank, 1789 S. Randall Road, Geneva, IL 60134, phone 630-262-6200. Last week, I have added to Facebook's "Mooseheart Alumni Association" site the Saturday pictures from the MAA registration and annual meeting at the Campanile; as well as the football game with the homecoming court, ...alumni and students. The final formal event was our MAA Banquet, Awards, and dance. I posted pictures relating these events. | Comments: | My father Randall Petoskey born 10 Jul 1956 in Newark, Oh to Leslie & Marjorie Petoskey passed away due to complications of an illness on Mar 13th 2009 it was his wishes that their be no memorial service only that we scatter his ashes where he considered home at Buckeye Lake, OH He spent most of his life at Mooseheart from 1959 after his father's death until his graduation in about 1974. I would be pleased to be contacted by anyone who knew him during these years. My father was always quiet about that time of his life so I knew little about his life before I was old enough to have memories. |

Dues are pais as there are at least 6 opthers who are all paid & receive nothing. 2 happen to be life members so that is a real shame they hear nothing. I realize we are of the " older" generation & should not be ignored but this seems to be the case. We all feel as though we are paying our dues for nothing. Is there something that can be done to improve the mailing list? Thanks |
