Have you thought about approaching the guys at House Industries. They are one of a handful of new young companies that provide a vital link between our computer age, young designers and those who should know better. I am sure they should/would be interested in your work.

I showed up on Al and Linda's doorstep many years ago, much to their surprize. I, and my dog, were very welcomed. I was encouraged to pursue Al by a signpainter named Mike Frederick of Unique Signs, in Mamaroneck, NY. Since our meeting, Al and Linda were always delighted to encounter me at Calligraphic engagements. I will always remember him fondly and will cherish his works. I am sorry for our loss.

Sincerely, Patti

I hate the Tobacco company, drug pushers. They are a great evil that should be held accountable for the lives their product destroys. What can one person do to eliminate this wretched industry that owns the republican party?

From the beginning to when he went on his own I never saw a drop of paint on his shoes. That tells you something. He was a perfectionist. We were friends to his end. I will always be proud of want I might have contributed to his stature.

Comments:Kimberly,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I would like to personally thank you for the opportunity to work with your Dad on designing this page. It was a very positive experience and I really came to respect your father's talent and eye for detail. I also sensed that he may have had a difficult time expressing his innermost feelings and I have no doubt in my mind that those Love prints were a reflection of what he wanted most in his life.

God Bless You and Yours,

Jeanette

Comments:I love what I've seen here. I would like to talk to you via
email or otherwise. I've been a self employed sign maker
for 7 years. I just opened up with scant knowledge about
running a business or how to make signs, but realized at
the age of 40 that I needed to use my artistic abilities,
and signs seemed to fit very nicely. I've learned much
from trial and error, but now I would like to tailor what I
do so it is more enjoyable - and I have some thoughts about
that, which I won't go into here. I'm 48 now, and need to
change some things, and viewing this web site has given me
inspiration. Looking forward to talking with you. Leslie

creative side to the artist.....and how something so simple
can become so beautiful. It is rare that man takes enormous
pride and devotion to what he believes in and this artist
leaves a warm and soothing feeling from his work.
