I went to aol and i typed in "Vanessa williams and rick fox to get a divorce", the results turn up and HOT 96 FM caught my eye I enlarged the page and there i read that rick had been cheating some photographer took pictures and v saw them they were trying to work things out but that was the last straw and now they are gatting a divorce. To those of you thinking it was the same incident that happened with Taye Diggs and the night club and all with the women and the shower this is not it this is different and more recent but it all that came up. As for the college comment, well, I think it's one of those things where you learn from your mistakes and don't want to see other make the same mistake. She dropped out, we all know that. It may be something she regrets doing and she doesn't want someone else to go through the same thing. I hope that makes sense. I spent 10+ years working at a pointless job after high school. I could have gone to college and made something of my life. Now, I just graduated from college and am having a hard time finding a job in my field. Vanessa started college but no she did not finish. So I can sort of see what you mean. People get to where they are in life by doing what's best for them. Johnston's Family Vacation opened at #3 at the box-office this weekend making 9.2 million dollars, (despite the fact that it was viewed on only 1,317 screens) bringing it's total since Wednesday to 11.6 million. I don't recall V being outspoken, she has always struck me as one of the few down to earth and humble celebrities. Although, I think it wasn't appropriate what Janet did at the SB, I know she's deeply sorry for that mistake, and all should be forgiven. The media needs to calm down, and paid attention to what really matters, the economy.
I also think that if Vanessa did in fact make that comment, that wouldn't put her in a good light. It's just not cool when celebrities make negative comments about each other, because they run the risk of alienating not just the celeb, but their fans as well. |

They have a way of manipulating and taking what a celebrity says out of context, and using it to their own advantage. Denzel Washington, Sam Jackson and many others, have all been victims, of the media's bait and switch tactics. I don't trust the media. I remember a few years ago V did an interview with Access Hollywood (she was promoting Into the woods)and was asked why she turned down the role in Monster's Ball. They decided NOT to shown the entire interview and only showed bits and pieces, of V, where she revealed why she turned down the Monster's Ball role (no snubbing). However, AH saved the best for last, and decided to show the entire interview WHEN Halley Berry got nominated for the oscar, thus making V seem like sour grapes, when in reality, the interview was made long before Halley ever got nominated. That is very manipulative in my opinion. Vanessa may very well have been ask about the Janet Jackson thing, and may have said something regarding the situatiion, I don't know, unless I hear it with my own ears, I'm not going to judge her. About Janet Jackson, I think that incident is being blown way out of proportion and the evil media is responsible. In my opinion, They used her, and now they're trying to destroy her.
I know this may not be news worthy, but on a more positive note, Vanessa was ask what advice she had for Beyonce in regards to singing the national anthem, and her response, Vanessa Williams (Super Bowl XXX) says Beyoncé has nothing to worry about. They showed photos of V, Rick , Sasha, They also spoke about how they keep their marriage alive (2 calls per day, 2 vacations/year, and never going without seeing each other for more than two weeks). Also on Friday, E.t. showed a clip of Shaq's wedding,(Instyle's celebrity wedding) Shaq joked that his wedding was nothing like Rick and Vanessa's, because unlike Rick , he wasn't crying at his wedding.
