I found your comment on parting with work interesting as it reflects my feelings as well. Each of my paintings or sculptures are like a page in the diary of my life. To part with them is like tearing out a page. Besides, I don't really need the money, never did, so that allows me to create what I want. I see a great deal of that philosophy in your work. |

| COMMENTS: | I'm sure you know your work reminds one of Salvadore Dali. Your work moves somewhat beyond his vision in that it reflects modern moods. But Dali had a passion for his work , he seemed to be making a statement on Catholicism, not just reflections of his moods. I'm thinking you need more passion about what you are saying to those who see your work. If you are angry, paint anger. If you are sad, paint sadness. But above all, go for what peeves you to the utmost -- make a statement about it. Art must slash through the minds of your viewers until it impells them to emote. |

I should think that such comparison would be gratifying to you as well. I am elated that a surrealist of your talent is about and even asking for feedback. I have just recently been introduced to your work by a friend of mine. I am very interested in obtaining information about how one may procure some of your work. I doubt I'd be able to afford an original. However, my family has a lithography business in Jacksonville, Florida (Webster Color). They have produced high quality reproductions for several artists in the past - even two surealists. My parents gave me one of the authorized reproductions of "The Long Journey" which I hang proudly in my home in Springfield, VA. The prints produced by Webster Color have sold for significant prices in some art circles and shouold prove to be the most affordable method by which I might obtain some of your work. I'd appreciate receiving any additional information concerning obtaining reproductions of your work.
