Joey,
You have a skill that not many others possess. Good that you showcase and use your talent before you lose them. You can tell that you enjoy doing what you do. Keep it up. Who knows, maybe you might even be able to bring out the artistic ability in an ill- drawing, non- staying in the coloring book lines individual like myself. Good luck to you. Peace be unto you. God bless.

I was reading my book the other day and I came across a quote that I would like to share with you. It said 'If our teachers are efficient they are good at asking question to make you think but they dont always, necessarily, have the answer'.
I think you are a wonderful teacher and I wish I could have you for at least a whole phase instead of a substitute but here's to hoping that you have to make time in your busy schedual to do it again!
I love your work and, by the way, you have to show me how you make the roses, they are beautiful!
I hope your students are treating you well and I hope to see you soon!

Joey was my first teacher @ Tulsa Welding School. He was very efficient in making sure that what he shows his students is correct and also comfortable positions to weld in. Someday I hope to have the experience and patience he was able to show me, so I can show other students. I think that if he was my instructor for the remainder of my welding training, I would be half as good as him in ten years. Thanks Joey for showing me part of the ropes. I hope to have you teach me more. Thanks sincerly, Anthony Warren class of 10/10/08.

Joey,
I have been inspired by your story about seeing welding, learning welding, going to school to learn it the correct way, and now teaching your knowledge to students. This is what my goal is too! This guy goes out of his way to help anyone in need of help or advice. I am a welding student who often seeks his advice and professionalism and he is more than glad to help out in any way possible. His art work is outstanding as well as his passion for the trade. I encourage anyone to purchase anything he makes, just for the fact he puts his heart and soul into it. Good luck in all your artistic ventures. Mark

The art work is really great. I think it is cool how you have been taught how to make some of the pieces and are willing to reteach it and give credit to the ones who showed or inspired you.

I also think it is cool how you come up with so much of your own stuff and are willing to teach that as well.....even going to websites so you can show how to do it step by step with pictures and detailed explanations.

I have done TIG welding for over forty years. After the sale of my engineering company, I had a requirement for a professional TIG welder.

After speaking to a few firms in town and looking at a new tig welder at Harbour Freight, I stopped at Tulsa Welding School. I wanted to see if someone there could weld alumimum or let me use one of their welders.

The receptionist put me in touch with Joey.

Joey read the blueptints I supplied and performed the aluminum welding in a professional manner and in a short time period.

I would not hesitate to use Joey again!
