| I want to start by saying that this band is probably THE most welcoming and friendly group I've met so far. When my band(Jezebel's Cure) was a wee 3 months old, The Chiocca Band sent us email complimenting our songs, and then went on to add our link to their website! All this without even meeting us! SIX MONTHS after this, I finally get the chance to see their band in concert this past Monday at the Evening Star Cafe ... one word...WOW! TO ALL THE DRUMMERS OUT THERE, you must see Chris play the drums. I myself am a vocalist, but I am presently drooling at the memory of his drum playing! He is amazing! The entire band can push out rock, country, jazz, blues, and believe or not... bluegrass! Between Kim's powerful blues voice and Joe's incredible finger-picking on guitar, this band was worth the drive! |

| I was burning up all day today - sweating while sitting still and in the shade. Apparently BREATHING was enough exercise today. And I was miserable - grumbly bunny with bad things on my mind - gave everyone attitude, bar none. Then I came home from work and looked at those poor bastards in NY all bunched up on the pier waiting for a boat that will come early next week, if they are lucky.
