Have welded in new floors in front and replaced all braking and clutch system, now she hauls again. Has a wild striped paint job from 80's California, which is where she originated from, and a cool period roof rack with built in spoiler, the likes of which i have never seen anywhere else...!! |

| Comments: | I have a 1994 BRG Rover Mini Cooper. Not fuel injected. I found it in Edmonton, a former Jepanese car in immacculate shape. I have no idea if it's a cooper lookalike or a genuine Cooper. It looks and feels the part, including cooper badging on the engine. Lowered front end which I'm not keen on, mini lite wheels with Cooper badging, and flo thru exhaust, very raughty and responds well. Needs a tune up and a proper airfilter, the dealer bought it of did a well meaning but a very misguided service on it prior to me buying. I note it has a Vancouver mini club badge on it. if anyone knows anything about, info would be appreciated. Also a link to spare parts. Thanks |

| Comments: | I have the two Minis left, what we believe to be the oldset surviving Mini in South Africa, a 1959 Austin 850 and a 1976 Mini Clubman GTS, a totally unique South African Mini developed in conjunction with the Performance Dept, Longbridge, to take on the others in the 'brat pack' at the time. It has the classical 1275, twin 1 1/4 SU's, disc brakes, 12" wheels etc.
I will be visiting Vancouver for the RIMS 2011 conference in early-May and make contact then. Lovely website and content. They are the best little cars by far. Frank |
