Comments: Just came across your Bobolink Farms website while researching the Sussex county area when offered a farm job there and LOVE what you stand for and what you are doing. Our adult son is mildly autistic (PDD/NOS to be specific) and he loved his time growing up on the dairy farms we worked at. He really liked the dairy goats we had when he was growing up. You are so that right that nowadays opportunities are much more limited for those with differences. We are hoping that this farm position comes thru in big part for our son's benefit as this is where his heart lies. Bravo and if we move to that area we will look you up for sure!

Comments:When I was a child back in the day.... at our elementary school we had a pair of sisters that taught first and second grade. They lived on a dairy farm with their father and every year if you were in their class you got to go on a field trip to their farm. There you would get the tour of the farm and at the end of the tour we made fresh churned butter and had it on crackers. Luckily for me I had the pleasure of being in both of their classrooms. I am now 51 years of age and that memory is fresh in my mind as it was just yesterday. I think children should experience fresh food without all the processes they are put through and all the chemicals added to them so they do not even taste like the fresh food that they are meant to be.
Thank You for creating fresh goodness for all to enjoy! Someday I hope to visit your farm.

I got your website info from your weekly stand at the Lincoln Square farmers market in Manhattan; have signed your e-mail list, hoping to get "alerts" when some of your meats become available (e.g., pork) a litle later in the season.

Also -- enjoyed discovering that there's a link between your farm and DAVID AMRAM !! My husband and I are great fans of his, going to hear him whenever we learn that he's playing in or near NYC. He often mentions his farm up in that area; Now we'll have to make a point of buying some "David Amram" cheese from you !

Best wishes, Barbara Britton & Jim Rahal, NYC

I am french, I have seen a documentary at a french TV chanel, i did not bilieve that it was possible to eat non pasteurised chease at usa. I think there is no traditional cheesemaker in the USA. You can be proud to pursue the traditions and old recipes. French people apreciate the people like you who are the defenders of the real taste of food.
Let me congratulate you for your essential work.

Looking at the small chunk that is left today, Sunday, I am so happy to see that I can order some more. Loved your website with its story (I too have a mildly autistic son) and wish you all the best. Seeing what you are doing gives me hope that this generation really might undo some of the harm of the previous ones. Thanks for that.

I saw the "No Reservations" piece more than a couple of times and finally decided to take the hour and a half drive from East Brunswick to the farm store. It was the best decision I have made In quite some time.
Its been about 25 years since I've been to the Vernon area and its just as beautiful as I remember it.
So anyway , forget about the nice ride and beautiful surroundings....this place is all about the cheese and bread !!!! I was given a taste of all the wonderful cheeses and the medieval rye. They were all so good I bought some of each and some of the rye. Upon arriving home I got to eat a good amount of each cheese and about half the bread I bought.
THEY WERE ALL MUCH BETTR THAAN I COULD HAVE HOPED FOR !!!!
How did I not know about this place sooner?? Its definitely one of the best kept secrets in NJ.
I just want to say thanks to the White family and all the dairy employees for all their hard work in this noble (and delicious) endeavor.

Blake and I loved visiting Bobolink Dairy yesterday and visiting with you and your hardworking staff. We're looking forward to the ground pork, veal chops, cheeses and breads we bought and especially enjoyed last night your delicious duck fat/garlic bread. Delicious. We'll be back.

I e mailed Abigail Adams last night about our chance encounter and your funny story about her visit to the Reagan White House and told her about your offer to come with your wonderful cheeses to a Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival performance at Boscobel in Garrison. That would be great. I'll see her on Sunday at the HVSF Benefit. And I'll tell Marit and Lars about our visit with you, when we see them also on Sunday.

Best,

I am from Zimbabwe and when I look at the work you do at your farm, it reminds me so much of home. That is just the way we did things at my grandparents rural home. Very little of it is left now because everyone is telling us to use the Monsanto maize seed, which depends on fertilizer. Folks can no longer grow maize from their harvests, the land it totally battered by the fertilizer and the environment cannot yield what it used to. PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THIS WONDERFUL WORK, MAYBE SOME DAY, IT WILL HELP US TO RECOVER WHAT WE ARE LOOSING AT THIS VERY MOMENT!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRATION, maybe I will get a chance to visit your wonderful farm one of these days.

There is a lot of vacant farmland on the island, why don't you open a "branch" down here!!! We are starved for organic and tasty food. There are very few organic farms locally and NO decent bread or cheese makers!

My daughter just moved to Paris and I went to help her get settled (good excuse). I ate the most amazing cheeses and breads. I am going back in January and intend to try as many more as possible! I hope to come to your farm next Spring. I am addicted to cheese.

Keep up the good work. All the best!
