hi rog, I have just brought a krico semi auto 22, after not owning a gun for a while, It wasnt an expensive gun and will use it to introduce my 13yr old boy to hunting. I was wanting to know the cost of a low to level entry suppressor, that u manufacture, and if the gun could be threaded at a local engineers as i live in a small town, or if you yourself thread the barrel, and what the cost is for that. Regards Graeme

Dear Rev Rog, I´ve been admiring your website for the last few weeks and I have to say I am gobsmacked by the beauty and level of engineering in your custom silencers. So I wanted to make contact with you in person and first of all commend you on the quality of your work. I myself am a blacksmith/mechanic and am developing an interest in weaponry. I have just bought a new rifle , a .22 Magnum. I live in Switzerland and here it seems to impossible to get my hands on a quality silencer, therefore I have been looking into making a silencer myself, but have been disappointed in my search for a good blueprint. It wasn’t until afterwards that I saw your website and thought maybe you could give me a wee hand in the dark! So the crux of the matter is, I am looking for your help. Can you provide me with a suitable technical design for an over-barrel suppressor with a muzzle-break for my rifle? Rene Müller

Hi, I'm after a quote for one of the Ultimate Rim-Fire Stealth Suppressors. Cal .22 Barrel length 54cms Barrel width 14mm I already have a t/barrel, so I wouldn't need for you guys to machine my rifle. I guess the thread would be standard, if there's such a thing? The rifle I'm looking to mount it on is a TOZ 7804 if that will help with the qoute? Cheers Mick.

Hi I was very impressed with your adapters. I need a custom adapter and I was wondering if you could build it for me? I need an external thread of 1.10 inch x 12 TPI with 55 degree pitch (not 60). I believe the metric equivalent is M28 x 2 with 55 degree pitch. The internal thread could be .... well I need your advice. The pipe I want to fit already has a thread of 1.0 inch x 16 (pitch unknown) but I presume that would leave a wall thickness that would collapse? So I'm after whatever would be a sensible internal diameter (that doesn't compromise wall strength). The smallest I can go to is M20 x 2 internal thread but I would prefer M22 or M24. I'm NOT an engineer so I am happy to follow advice from an expert. Length of sleeve/adapter is about 26mm and only part of external diameter needs threading. I am happy to pay in advance and provide exact specifications and/or diagram. regards Peter Davy 25 Dunkirk St Marchwiel Timaru e-mail is davpet77@hotmail.com

Hi Rog, I found your website after an intensive search for a suitable suppressor. I bought a single shot 17HMR Rossi for my 8y old son and it had a suppressor on it but the original owner kept it. There are so many units out there and I am a bit confused as to what I really need. Do I need a dedicated 17HMR unit or can it be .22 unit? I'd prefer a short unit (Gunworks offer a 3" unit) and also light. Can you give me a few hints as to what works best (Al or ss), what length & weight? Please send me your pricelist for a suitable suppressor! Kind regards from the BoP, Jo

Hi Rog...I've enjoyed browsing through your website over the last few months. You could say I'm a hobby engineer at best. I've made a few passable .22 suppressors but have kind of been a bit hesitant about getting serious about my bigger calibers. I did manage to destroy an all plastic slip on suppressor I made to fit the graphite barrel on my Magnum Research .22 - fed a slightly bent .22 round into the action which then took out the suppressor! Good thing it was plastic. I'm seriously considering my .308 and a recent project rifle in .222. So I'd be interested in what you would suggest I get and costs associated. Thanks Andrew Christchurch

Hello. U.S. man here. Looking for silencer to quiet my gun. I don't have any dimensions because it's just like yours. It's a Savage .22LR Mark II BV. (not the BVTS, you lucky one) I'm wondering what silencer you'd have for me that would make my rounds quiet, as I shoot a lot of rounds right outside and it annoys the parents. :o I don't know if I'd need the break at the barrel or not. Probably not. I like to shoot birds and deer with it, so you'd know what I need best. If you would e-mail me back with what you'd have for me, what type (although I like the conventional looking ones), and the price for it, as I'm on a tight budget. Thanks and best regards, Nathan

Hi Rog, picked up my rifle to-day from the gunsmiths looks really great, But , dont you just hate it when this happens. What I have been recommended to do, is not to take the suppressor off, as if I do not get it exactly right, I may hit the end of the supressor, when firing . If I have to take it off, I will need to take it back to have it checked with a barrel rod. Also as I can see the end of the supressor through the scope, I have heard that lifting the scope a bit higher, effects the accuracy,is this true, Cheers Noel

Hi Rog, I would like a custom supressor for my new magnum research 22LR model MLR-1722. It has the graphite barrell and has been threaded by gun city. Not sure if you are familiar with this rifle but it is very light, and would like to keep it this way :) I also, like your other customers want it to look nice. I was thinking the same diameter as the barrell - 23mm and as short as possible as we do a lot of shooting off a jeep. maybe 120mm long?? with a built in muzzle break. Obviously im not the expert on supressors so am open to your suggestions on if those dimensions are acheivable. It doesnt need to be extremely quiet but every bit helps. Will be using subs and high velocity ammo look forward to hearing from you Cheers Devon

Hello Roger, I have been appreciating your works of art for some time now and when i acquired my new toy i immediately thought to contact you. I have recently acquired an A cat AR 15 in 204 ruger with a heavy barreled ss barrel which came threaded with a MAE end muzzle can (without a thread protector). The problems i am having is that the rifle with the suppressor is way too long and front heavy I was wondering if you could build a custom muzzle brake for me? i have a few pictures i can send you to give you an idea of what i am looking for. My requirements are simple, the brake must be short and match the diameter of the barrel (a little wider would also be fine). Cheers Michael

Hi I was just browsing your facinating website and wondered if you could give me an approximate cost for a suppressor to suit a Webley FX2000 5.5cal PCP I have recently purchased. It has been threaded for a suppressor but since I am at work I cannot give you any dimensions at present. I want to use the rifle to deal with a plague of starlings in my sheds and they are getting very wary of any movement or sound so I need to retain accuracy from about 50m. Any advice welcome. Cheers

Hi Rog. Im just emailing you in regards to getting a custom made suppressor for my ruger 10/22. I dont know much about the rugers but i can give you a bit of info on mine. its the fully wooden one with the barrel that tapers down to the muzzle. i think its 18.5" long? its already threaded. im not too sure if its factory threading of if the previous owner has had it done. i can provide a picture if you need. Because i have a young family and i havent discovered a money tree yet, i would like one thats not too pricey (around $150-$200 mark. Looking for a matt black one too. Hi Rev Rog, I have today purchased a .17hmr rifle via TradeMe (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=285604664) and wish to purchase a supressor to dampen it's reknown sharp retort. Would you please be so kind as to advise which of your units you would recommend. Is it a feasible, or indeed worthwhile, proposition to consider reducing the barrel length to allow for overal length with supressor (I found some information on this web site which suggests that a mild degree of amputation has little detriment to FPS: http://www.varmintal.com/17hmr.htm). Also, am considering purchasing a Marlin Papoose for my wife so as she can join me rabbit shooting - I note that the Papoose has been a particular interest of yours and wonder if you could please advise which of your supressor solutions offered the very best solution (noise reduction + accuracy). Can you please advise prices for both the .17HMR & Papoose solutions. With thanks, Kevin I will be using the rifle for rabbit shooting

Hello Roger, About a year or two ago I purchased a slimline suppressor for my .22 co2 crosman. It worked well on that but having sold it I decided to fit it on my new (already threaded) single shot .22lr. I took a few shots and noticed it was shooting quite erratically, so I took it off and it was shooting one holers?? So I had a look at the suppressor and noticed that the hole in the end had worn a patch of the over spray present down to the metal. While the rest remained covered by paint. I Then had a look at it from the top and sure enough the hole is visibly off centre by a fair margin. I suspect that with the air rifle the pellet was small enough to just clear the sides as it worked well. I'm almost certain the treading is true on the rifle. So I was wondering what you thought of this and what you're prepared to do? Thank you, Bill George.

Hi Roger I couldn't find you email address anywhere on your website - so had to go hunting through old emails. Seek and ye shall find - I found it. I thought that I would send you this email, because I was just wondering if you could do a small job for me. You may recall, not last Christmas, but the Christmas before (I think) or it may have been the one before that? Well any way I bought a full length silencer off you in a TradeMe Auction for my stainless Marlin Papoose, and I didn't realise that it needed a threaded end on the muzzle to fit it. So I haven't used it yet Roger. I don't trust anyone else to do your standard of work, so I was wondering if I sent my rifle, and the silencer I bought off you, down to you, would you be able to thread the end and fit the silencer please. I'm not too worried about the foresight because I intend to use a scope with it. I'm happy to pay whatever fee you may charge for such a service. I have been meaning to do it for a while now, have thought about it for some time, and would be grateful if you could oblige with your best endeavours please. Early reply appreciated. Talk soon Very best regards Charles PAYNE 021 973 740 PS the suppressor subject to this email is on my Bruno rifle. It's fantastic Roger, really quiet and deadly accurate. A 20 in barrel, I believe .920 in. Basically, I'm not a criminal, I have a concealed weapons license, quite a few guns...I think of adding a supressor to the collection would just add to the awesome factor. In addition, if it any added bonus, I graduated from Liberty University and my brother is there now going through the seminary program. Thank you in advance for your reply. Ben

Hi Roger, i'm an industrial designer, and have recently developed an interest in pre charge rifles, i have a few odd idea's about them that i haven't seen anyone else try yet. I've been watching your work on TM & would like to strike up a dialouge with you around a couple of points, firstly being some of my ideas and whether there is any merit in them from your point of view as someone who to my mind has considerably more experience in the area than myself; secondly if my ideas are worth pursuing/refining further would you be interested in subcontracting the manufacturing for me, as that seems far more practical than me setting up a workshop & developing the machining skills you obviously already have. Just a bit of background on me so you know who you're dealing with. I'm in my mid forties, recently suspended my degree in product design which i was six months from completion of to work for peter jackson on his wingnut wings 1/32 ww1 kitset biplanes project [www,wingnutwings.com] (i do 3D CAD modeling, currently mostly photo etch detailing), in the past i have been a craft book binder & many many other things (jack of all trades; well paid by none -untill now that is). My father was an engineer, i grew up in his work shop, & tho have little to no formal training in engineering per say, it is in my blood. I'm in no great hurry on these idea's as i already work 50 hrs/week for wingnut wings, plus am taking up part time study again. should you be inclined to contact me for further discusion, i generally avoid computers like the plauge during the weekend, though not this weekend. but will be totally out of touch next week as i am having my first holiday in 80 weeks of solid work. regards Stu

I am getting a ShinSung 707 9mm Ultra Repeater. Your website shows one of your silencers mounted to the barrel of one of these guns. how much would one of these silencers cost? I know that there would be a lot of red tape since silencers are very closely regulated here in the states. Still I would like to get info on this silencer. Sincerely, Chuck Asher 573-201-7358 or 573-247-3893

I have recently been reading all your documentation, and a fellow silencer enthusiast (amateur at best) I was wondering if you have ever done a silencer on a pump action .22 rifle, I have a Rossi pump action that has been passed down forever, and I use it everyday. I have failed at making a functional silencer for it, and was wondering if you had any thoughts.

Hello Reverend Rog. I am a former US Marine and also a Kiwi who is finally heading home to beautiful NZ after almost 20 years away. I am bringing with me quite a collection of firearms with me in particular some rifles that I will be using to control the population of introduced pests on a large block of family land by the Bay Of Islands. My family also breeds horses so out of respect to our Equine friends I would like to use a couple of suppressors. One for a Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22 and one for a CAR 15. What can you tell me about your products. I am very interested and would very much like to experience shooting without all the noise. Kind regards. Matt Strickland

Hi are you able to make a unit for an Air Arms S410 0.22 pcp with camo finish and at what price and what sort of time frame is needed? Is accurracy in any way impaired at range-I typically shoot hand held to 70 yards and off rest(usually)out to 100 yards. Is velocity also affected to any degree? Are they vulnerable to deflection or distortion at all-you do say they are light.... I normally stick with AADiabolo Fields running at 900-960fps and shoot tight groups.
