| Comments: | As a woman could never describe the birth of her child with words, so she cannot ever describe their death. Only someone who has been there could understand and even then it still remains wordless. I have a son who, over 30 years ago, was born prematurely (barely 2 lbs at 27 weeks) as a result of a kidney infection I developed and , as you can imagine, that long ago this was a death sentence. On June 25 he celebrated his 31st birthday to everyone's amazement since he still has many under-developed organs and, of course, has the health problems this represents. My youngest, a daughter named Anna, on the other hand was born on time, perfectly healthy and under much better circumstances all around. Anna didn't even have colds! She went to be with the Lord in May of 1997 as a result of lymphoma which had been diagnosed just 39 hours earlier. Although the question Why? has certainly come up in my mind, I have never doubted God's sovereignty. God is always good and only does good. Hard to understand for us? Yes, is it ever! But I still trust Him. I know that our beloved children are now whole, in God's glory and in the presence of Jesus. Not only do their spirits live forever, but THEY live forever. So can we all. . . God wants us to. I pray that our Lord will continue to comfort you with this knowledge. That though we sorrow, we may sorrow in hope, ever confident of His precious promises. |

So sorry for your lose. I know about heartache and pain as my 13 year-old nephew Blaine Cooper was killed in an ATV accident in Camilla, GA on Thanksgiving Day of 2003. It has been double the pain because besides losing my nephew, I have seen the pain his parents, my sister Michelle and her husband David, and his two siblings Brittany and Brandon have gone/are going through. One of my friends always tells me that God won't give us anything we can't handle. I come to your sight whenever I get a chance and every time I do it makes me emotional. It's heartbreaking to see all the names of children that people have lost. In a way it is also comforting knowing that I'm not the only one dealing with the loss of a child. | Comments: | I have been going to the memorial you made for my son quite a bit lately. Today is the 2 year anniversary since the death of Michael. My old neighbors and I are going to meet at the accident sight around the time the accident happened. We met last year and all left a flower at his marker. I find comfort knowing that even though he's not here we all found a way to help eachother deal with the loss. He was a good friend to all the kids in that neighborhood and they like the marker being there to help them remember to be more careful.

| Comments: | I have visited your site often and am greatly touched that you created a place where people can express their love for their pasted loved ones. There has been 4 losses in my life and I am only 18 years old. Even before I was born my mother was pregnant with a little boy. But she lost the baby. I was to have an older brother named Matthew. He would have been 19 years old in April. Then in November of 2001, my stepmother was found murdered in her car at our local Wal-mart. Since then my father has been charged and convicted with her murder. He has been sentenced to death for a crime I and many others feel he did not do. In, January 2002, a good friend of mine committed suicide. No body really understands or knows why. Then in July of 2003, another good friend was killed in a horrific car accident. We all know that are loved ones are in a better place and we will be with them soon.

| Comments: | I just read your story about your baby boy...I also lost my son 27 yrs ago and to this day wish I could have had the oppertunity to have taken a few pictures of him...but being all alone, my husband was taken to jail that night for literally beating my son out of me. As I was saying I was an 18 yr. old all alone, I did get to hold my son Christian for a few minutes but they (the nurses) didnt think it was in my best interest to have with me for too long, as I was still very weak. I was 71/2 months pregnant, when my husband did this to US. We are no longer together and I still find it hard to forgive this man for taking my son's life.
