| Comments: | Hey there. I graduated from Pack 244 waaaaaaaaaay back in the early '90s. I joined the pack in middle school in the late 1980s. I learned a lot and went on to become the 4th (5th? something like that) Eagle Scout in Troop 244's history. I am very glad to see that the Pack, like the Troop, is still rollin' along at full steam- and still going to Battleship Cove! What a great trip that always was.
Funny story- the first time we ever went to Battleship Cove my dad (ya might know him- kinda chubby, same name as me) who was Scoutmaster at the time held a memorial ceremony for all the men who died on the USS Massachusetts. It was very serious and somber. Later that day we came to find out no sailor died on the Massachusetts. Woops! Anyway just wanted to throw out an "atta boys!" at the current members of my old Pack.
