Comments:Hi John...long long time no see. I recently started working for a new client. I walked in to her house and stopped dead in my tracks. There on the wall hung one of your works. I had such a rush of memories...our kids playing together...my friendship with T...walking into your studio and watching your latest work come to life. Interesting that it was the work it was...I have recently surrendered my whole self to breast cancer and all that fighting it includes. Most importantly I surrendered to my creator and felt his hand guiding me. That painting always affected me deeply but all the more so now. Thank you my friend for sharing your gift. Hope to visit your studio soon.

Comments:Hello John! I met you over 22 years ago at an art show in Owen Sound. I held on to your promotional literature in hopes of one day purchasing it as I was working in radio and could not afford your beautiful work at the time. Last week, I happened upon one of your pieces "natural law" as it was featured at my dentist's office. (At the time I didn't realize this was YOUR work.) The hygenist and I had quite the discussion about it. Its uncanny how your painting came to mind, as I was sitting in the dentists chair and wishing that I would have purchased at least the print of one of my favorite pieces all those years ago. Upon arriving home,I was spurred on to dig out my favorite piece "The Ageless Heart" from my file drawers, so I could google the artist. I was so delighted to find that you were the same artist!!! I am so inspired by your artwork, your creativity and the life lessons you share as well as the innocence and the beauty of nature. I hope to one day have one of your prints, in my home (especially the ageless heart). Thank you for your gifts! Karen

I'm sure I will have several more over the next few years. Keep up the good work. I am hopeing to visit the studio sometime over the summer. Sincerely, Tammy

Comments:We visited Canada in 1998, we went through the Rockies and stopped at one of the indian rervations, there we saw this mans great work. We were fascinated and were lucky enough to purchase a print, when we got back to Scotland i had the print framed at great expense as i felt it deserved it, now it hangs in my home and i am very proud of it. The use of colours and shapes is amazing, one day we will tour canada again only a lot slower and we will take everything in. Thank you sir, Eddie and Alison and Shannon Stewart.

Comments:Dear Johannus, I grew up in Buckhorn Ontario and regularly would go to the Whetung art gallery close by, it was there I found your painting of “Child of Vision” I all my birthday saved for a year when I was 8 just to buy this poster, it had such an effect on the way I saw the world. To this day I have it, a little worn as its move across the country with me. I just want to say thank you so creating such beautiful art, and helping me create my own vision of our world.

I will be coming down 503 from Haliburton where my cottage is. I am hoping you won't mind signing the 3 prints that I purchased. Yes the prints have your signature but I would like to have original signature before I frame them if you don't mind. I tried to use your CONTACT THE ARTIST form but it appears to be missing SEND part.

Comments:Mr. Boots, Your gift with comprehending the spirit of life and nature is ispirational and I am blessed to have found your work. I am sending you a copy of a poem that I wrote many years ago and I hope that you find in this work the comfort that I found in yours. Thank you for your contribution to my soul! Comfort I have found comfort today, In the heart warming sunshine, In the rustling of wind in the trees, In the revelry of solitude. I have found comfort today, In the unyielding strength of nature, In the purest depths of silence, In the songs of awakening birds. I have found comfort today, In being familiar with myself, In the experience of evolution, In the presence of a like mind. I have found comfort today, In living now and in this moment, In believing I am unique, In liking where my mind has settled. I have found comfort today, In just being myself, In the place and in just the way That I wanted to be. Kim English

Comments:Dear Mr. Boots, I came across your painting, Family Tree, where it was hanging at the Villa St. Joseph, in Cobourg. I'll have you know, that I broke all protocol in that I was on a silent retreat - and who can remain silent when they're looking at such mystical wonders before their eyes? I was not successful in keeping my little golden gate shut. Your paintings are transformative. I feel very lucky to have come across your work - and thank you for illustrating all the magical properties that our universe exhibits, but of which we never really see, until someone like you opens our eyes. My best to you and your family.

Comments:Johannus, I visited your home with my family in August of 2008 (we are friends of Liz and Nicks) It truly was inspirational to meet someone that can convey such feelings and ideas in their work, as well as encapsulating the beauty that surrounds you in the wonderful part of the world that you live in. You hand-signed a print of 'Child of Vision' for me which I am looking at as I type this. I just wish more people in the world thought like you did. Seeing the original 'Leap of Faith' was also quite amazing. I hope to visit you again sometime in 2010. I wish you all the best for the future and know that you will inspire so many others with your breathtaking pieces. Jon

They give me peace, they make me smile, they make me reminisce, they take me to the innocence of my childhood.I first saw them at the Stouville Flea Market and havent been able to forget them-which is strange-they're haunting. Im an insurance broker by trade and work on commissions- I have just set my goals for 2010. I am rewarding myself with one of your paintings EVERYTIME I reach my goal for the month. As of this time in 2010 I hope to be inspired each day-in each room of my home. Thank you Thank you thank you-you bring peace and harmony to sad spirits.

I only wish we could afford to buy more of your work.

I can remember sitting and staring at it for hours....discovering something new everytime I looked at it. I found it a wonderful source of relaxation...and introspection. I have wanted a copy of it for myself since...my daughter now being nine. I am hoping someday that I will be able to acquire one. I can only imagine the satisfaction, gratification and creative release you must feel every time you create one of these masterpieces. It is wonderful to sit and look...really look at them, peeling back the layers one by one. It can only be described as an absolute pleasure to view each and every one of your works. Your work brings out a calming in me that I have found through no other source. Bravo sir!!! My hat is off to you. Keep up the exemplary work, as I, and many others would miss it expressly were it to stop. Sincerely, Patricia

I first saw Heaven on Earth and Gateways to Discovery at the Coburg waterfront festival. At this point in time Gateways to Discovery was still a work in progress. I enjoy painting myself, but I do not consider myself an artist. It blows me away how much creativity you have, and how each of your works tells a lifetime of stories within them. You are truly inspiring and my absolute favorite artist. Thank you for sharing you wonderful gift with me and the rest of the world. --Julie Otvos

Comments:Hi! What an amazing website of your beautiful inspiring artwork! I am a friend of your wonderful mother. We have been on pilgrammage together in Quebec just recently and last summer as well. You are indeed very talented and creative. It is great to see the representation of Native Culture which in my mind is very connected to nature. Looking at your art gives me a sense of peace and wonder. I love nature because I feel that is where I can feel the presence of God; in the quiet and the wonder of all He created. Your artwork refects that beauty and peace so realistically that one can escape into nature without physically being there. It was a great pleasure to view your fabulous work and read about you and what inspires your work. I can certainly see why your mother is one of your inspirations; she is a beautiful, caring person and I can see why she is so proud of you. Sincerely, Lori Randall
