| Comments: | Dear Mr. Boots, I came across your painting, Family Tree, where it was hanging at the Villa St. Joseph, in Cobourg. I'll have you know, that I broke all protocol in that I was on a silent retreat - and who can remain silent when they're looking at such mystical wonders before their eyes? I was not successful in keeping my little golden gate shut. Your paintings are transformative. I feel very lucky to have come across your work - and thank you for illustrating all the magical properties that our universe exhibits, but of which we never really see, until someone like you opens our eyes. My best to you and your family. |

| Comments: | Johannus, I visited your home with my family in August of 2008 (we are friends of Liz and Nicks) It truly was inspirational to meet someone that can convey such feelings and ideas in their work, as well as encapsulating the beauty that surrounds you in the wonderful part of the world that you live in. You hand-signed a print of 'Child of Vision' for me which I am looking at as I type this. I just wish more people in the world thought like you did. Seeing the original 'Leap of Faith' was also quite amazing. I hope to visit you again sometime in 2010. I wish you all the best for the future and know that you will inspire so many others with your breathtaking pieces. Jon |

| Comments: | I sit at my computer and wonder what to say to you and hope that I somehow can convey to you what your paintings do for me.I'm not a poet and I struggle at how to thank you for the pure beauty. They give me peace, they make me smile, they make me reminisce, they take me to the innocence of my childhood.I first saw them at the Stouville Flea Market and havent been able to forget them-which is strange-they're haunting. Im an insurance broker by trade and work on commissions- I have just set my goals for 2010. I am rewarding myself with one of your paintings EVERYTIME I reach my goal for the month. As of this time in 2010 I hope to be inspired each day-in each room of my home. Thank you Thank you thank you-you bring peace and harmony to sad spirits. |

| Comments: | An incredibly talented artist and whose work I saw in Canada a couple of days ago as I was about to fly home to the UK. I was left speachless at The Creed and have made enq to have a print shipped to me here in Yorkshire, England. The image of the work stayed with me in my mind on the flights and hope that I can get a copy then shipped and framed over here asap. This man not only inspires, is inspirational and reaches parts and paints the soul and nature as it should be seen. Truly incredible work. Best wishes Kev YORKSHIRE - ENGLAND |

| Comments: | I visited my massage therapist last week and noticed one of your paintings... I was immediately drawn to it and wondered what one might look like that incorporated a photo of my son who passed away in August and a spiritual view of his unborn daughter (due in March)with visions of all her relatives still here or passed around her. Let me know if this is something that interests you and what the costs might be... I am so moved by your sense of depth. |

| Comments: | What are you dreaming and how shall it look? I had a tree ask me for an offering of garlic in return for a piece of bark to use for a surface reading on a specific question I had in mind, it asked while still 7 miles east while I was formulating the question, who'd of thought it would LOL. The One Creed angel developed beautifully and speaks that All come forth from One source manifesting substance. The Guides and the Guardians remind me of that new garlic friend. Hope your well. |

I had seen a red Trans Am (just around the corner of main and cobbledick) with Weekend Warriors Decals on the Spoiler and Ted Nuggent with his Guitar and the end of it being a Double Barrel Shotgun, Very cool, No one ever confirmed, but I was always under the impression it was your work, this would be the car that S. Sawyer is probably talking about. I think you had a huge impact on a lot of people as an artist and as a person, more than you even know............. Douglas Doxtater |

I only wish we could afford to buy more of your work. |

| Comments: | Dear Mr. Boots, I was made aware of your work through my sister. She bought one of your prints, "The Gift of Life" and at the time I had just given birth to my daughter. I can remember sitting and staring at it for hours....discovering something new everytime I looked at it. I found it a wonderful source of relaxation...and introspection. I have wanted a copy of it for myself since...my daughter now being nine. I am hoping someday that I will be able to acquire one. I can only imagine the satisfaction, gratification and creative release you must feel every time you create one of these masterpieces. It is wonderful to sit and look...really look at them, peeling back the layers one by one. It can only be described as an absolute pleasure to view each and every one of your works. Your work brings out a calming in me that I have found through no other source. Bravo sir!!! My hat is off to you. Keep up the exemplary work, as I, and many others would miss it expressly were it to stop. Sincerely, Patricia |

I first saw Heaven on Earth and Gateways to Discovery at the Coburg waterfront festival. At this point in time Gateways to Discovery was still a work in progress. I enjoy painting myself, but I do not consider myself an artist. It blows me away how much creativity you have, and how each of your works tells a lifetime of stories within them. You are truly inspiring and my absolute favorite artist. Thank you for sharing you wonderful gift with me and the rest of the world. --Julie Otvos |

| Comments: | Hello Mr. Boots, A couple of years ago (when I was about 16) I saw one of your limited edition copies of "The Family Tree" in a Native American art gallery located near Bobcageon, ON. I fell in love with the painting, and somehow managed to convince my grandmother to buy it for me, with the promise that I would repay her. She did, and it has remained one of my most valued possesions to this day (I am now almost 21). I stumbled across your sight, and thought I'd pass on the compliment. I greatly enjoy your work. Keep it up! Jenna |

| Comments: | hi johannus, my wife and i love your work. both of us were born and raised in bowmanville and remember as kids seeing you in the front window of what i assume was your house on duke st. as we walked to the school across the street. we started appreciating your work over ten years ago when we saw a print at a friends house, (GIFT OF LIFE). seeing that intrigued us and we immediately fell in love with the message and style of your art. in 1998 we were given THE DANCE as a house warming gift. since then we have purchased CHILD OF VISION because it looked like our daughter at that age, and for christmas my wife purchased HEAVEN ON EARTH,which we admire very much. thank you for your beautiful artwork and the inspiring messages and images they portray. |

My parents purchased "Native Peace" a few years ago and I fell in love with it as it portrays my struggle of trying to return to my roots. I just need to find the right door. I also, came accross your painting "Surrender" and was hit with emotion & a tear. Your paintings/messages are powerful! I am in the process of purchasing "Family Tree" for my parents for their 46th Wedding Anniversary. Thank You! Sincerely, Cindy Restoule Elliot Lake, ON |

| Comments: | Hi! What an amazing website of your beautiful inspiring artwork! I am a friend of your wonderful mother. We have been on pilgrammage together in Quebec just recently and last summer as well. You are indeed very talented and creative. It is great to see the representation of Native Culture which in my mind is very connected to nature. Looking at your art gives me a sense of peace and wonder. I love nature because I feel that is where I can feel the presence of God; in the quiet and the wonder of all He created. Your artwork refects that beauty and peace so realistically that one can escape into nature without physically being there. It was a great pleasure to view your fabulous work and read about you and what inspires your work. I can certainly see why your mother is one of your inspirations; she is a beautiful, caring person and I can see why she is so proud of you. Sincerely, Lori Randall |

| Comments: | I bought Vision Quest as gift for myself after college it is a numbered limited print 299 out of 550. It touched my heart the first time a saw it which was about a year before I graduated. Ofcourse it went up in cost and with the expensive frame I originally paid $2375.00 back in 1996. I'm guessing by now it has doubled in price and I was hoping to find out what it is appraised at now for insurance purposes because I changed my insurance company and they want an up to date apprasial but that costs money and I was hoping to find a place on line where I could get it appraised for free. If anyone reading this knows of a website I could get an apprasial at please e-mail me. Or if you know of a cheap place to get this done in Edmonton Alberta I would appreciate it. |

| Comments: | I bought Vision Quest the year you had it at Buckhorn. I couldn't afford the framed print and it took me until last year to find a frame to fit that didn't cost more than the print. Still, during that time, I kept it in the plastic envelope you had put it in and had it hung in my living room so I could enjoy it. Everyone who comes in is absolutely fascinated by this piece. I am a little more affluent now and would like, eventually, to purchase another piece. |

Chris and l had a great time hanging with your family.
