Judith died the year I was born and I remember getting 'Land Before Time' and 'All Dogs Go To Heaven' from McDonald's in the early 90's. I had no clue what happened until a year ago when I got curious. It's weird, because I noticed right away that Ducky's voice was different in the second movie. I found Judith's wikipedia page by accident, read it, and was deeply saddened. Would Judith have survived if her Mother escaped her father - maybe, if hidden or kept safe good enough. Judith is not forgotten and she will always stay alive in the roles that she played.

I was crushed to hear about this. I've never followed up on the actors in Land Before Time but this story popped up on the sidebar in youtube and I was so sad to hear it. What a sweet, talented little girl. The least her father could have done was appreciate the fact that she helped him and his wife out financially. The jealousy was so pointless as he clearly had a part in making her so that should have been something to be proud of. It's so sad what alcoholism can do to people. RIP sweet little girl. You didn't deserve what happened to you but you're in a much better place now.

This little girl was 2 years older than me, was in some of my favorite childhood films and TV shows, just like many of my peers. I am now showing these films to my own children I did not know of the travisty of her death till i IMDB'd her wondering where she was now, how sad not just because of her obvious talent but because she will never have the chance to show her films to her own children, due to her father's unchecked alcoholism, dreression, selfishness and low self esteem. It's just freaking sad and wrong that judy is gone. There was so much left for her...

I remember watching The Land Before Time a few years ago when i was about 19. Afterward i had wondered who did the voice of Ducky because i have loved her voice ever since i was like 5 watching that movie. So i finally looked her up. I was shocked to find out her story. It crushed me that night. I hadnt felt that much pain for another person in a long time. It made me think of all the children out there being abused. Her story is one of many. The evil in this world is ridiculous. I pray every night for all of those children who have suffered in this world, not knowing what they are doing wrong to deserve it. In the end, those who inflict the pain will get what they deserve. I have no doubt about that.

"Does God's hand fit through windows" - Judith Barsi said that in "A Family Again. I wondered the same thing when my friend, David Farrar (age 12) died of a brain tumor in 1990. A few years before, a young girl died and I didn't know it until almost 23 years afterwards. She had a great voice in the animated movies I loved and I will deeply miss her. Yep! Yep! Yep! =)

I don't even know if it means much that I sign your dream book Judith. But I am only 22 and was born the year you died. I am sitting in my living room now and watching "All Dogs Go To Heaven" and I thought "I wonder who does the little giels voice?". So, I googled and read through Wikipedia one of the sadest stories I have ever read in my life and couldn't stop crying. She was before my time but it made my heart break and am firmiliar with all her past acting just never knew about what had happened to her life. I posted it on my facebook page for others my age to know. I know she is in heaven with her mother taking care of her forever and ever without anyone like her father anywhere near by.

I find this website beautiful to preserve the memory of Judith. I am 15 years old and i, in my future, would like to stop child abuse and kidnapping as well as child rape, porn and other disgraceful acts towards children. no one should have to endure the pain of childhood abuse whether it be physical, mental or sexual, or any other type of abuse. i know first hand the effects on someone from childhood abuse, and it landed me in the hospital twice, once for a little over 2 weeks and the last time for more than 3 monthes.

I was feeling nostalgic and looking up old movies i watched as a kid and i happened upon the wikipedia site for all dogs go to heaven and i saw the bio for judith...i honestly dont remember the last time i cried. i didnt have the greatest childhood but i vividly recall land before time and all dogs go to heaven as some of my oldest memories. this truly breaks my heart to see that judiths life was cut so short.

Last night, I decided to look up the little girl that played "Thea Brody" in Jaws the Revenge. I wanted to see what she looked like now because she was simply the cutest little thing I had ever seen. I didn't know her name but I saw her picture and name on IMDB.com and clicked on it. I noticed her birth date and that she was 5 months older than me. I couldn't believe it because she was so little I thought she was several years younger. Then, I noticed the date of death. I literally said out loud, "WHAT?". I could not believe what I was seeing. I looked at several websites and went to YouTube and saw memorial videos people had made. They were beautiful! I cried so much watching the video tributes and reading her story. I also saw that she was the voice of "Ducky" in The Land Before Time. I had no idea. Ever since I saw that movie as a kid I have said those 3 words, "YEP, YEP, YEP". Now when I say those 3 words I will think about Judith and how precious she was. Judith, you will always and forever be in my heart!!! You were such a beautiful and talented child. Love, Christy

Last weekend Land Before Time was on TV. After I decided to go to IMDB to see how old the kids are now. I was horrified to see a Date of Death next to Judith Barsi name! I just sat there for a few seconds, reading the date over and over. I wanted to find out more, so I googled her name and alot of sites came up. I must looked at them for a good hour and a half. It breaks my heart the way her short life was lived. I know she and her Mother are in Jesus' arm right now. And they both at Peace in the Home of the Lord. And although I never knew her, I felt a little of my self dying with her. Rest in peace sweetheart! You are amoug angels now. I just five of your movies from amazon, everytime I watch them I'll always think of you and cry! Judith you are loved and missed. The world just got a little lonelier without you here. Rest in peace Judibug!

I remember watching 'Land Before Time" and "All Dogs Go To Heaven", when I was younger, and always thought that girl has a sweet and cute voice. A few days ago "Land Before Time" was on TV. After the movie, I thought I'd go to imbd to see how old these kids were who did the voice work. I was extermely surprised to see she died at the age of 10. Then I read her story, Surprised turn to tears of pain for poor little Judith. Then I found this web-site and watched the story, I was in tears. And it hurts every time I hear that voice, or see that face, it hurts. She is loved by all and missed by all. But I know The Lord wanted another of His angels Home to be with Him. So He wrapped His arms around her and Maria, and said "Come live me, I'll stop your hurt and pain. By now we all know the her and her mother are living happily in Heaven, among God and His angels. Although we miss and love Judith very much, rest asured her and her mom are in a better palce, then we are. Rest in Peace Lil Judibug! We will never forget you.

I never knew about this story till earlier this year but Judith seemed like a sweet little girl. I was reading on the deaths of the co-stars of the movie "Poltergeist" when I ran into Judith's name & fate. Growing up in the 80's, I remember seeing her face on various commercials & soon learned she was the voice of my favorite character "Ducky" in "The Land before Time". I can only say that when I read what caused her & her family's death, I felt an instant sadness in my heart, as if I knew Judith my whole life. I couldn't even image what her life at home was like. However, I do have faith that while taken from this life in the middle of her dreams, that she & her mother are at peace, in a beautiful place.

I'm sitting here with my son and nephew watching "All Dogs Go to Heaven." I just looked up the voices for the characters. I am so heart broken to read the story of Judith Barsi. Judith does the voice for the foresaken Anne-Marie. It's just so sad to know that the actress' life shared some similarities with the character (excpet Anne-Marie's life has a happy ending). My last two children grew up watching All Dogs Go To Heaven, now I have other children watching it also and all this time, I never knew the tragedy behind this family. My 14 y/o was so devastated as was I. It will be so hard to look at this movie now and not think of the senselessness of greed and control as shown by this child's own father. Such a sweet little angel...I've seen LBT so much - it was my favorite movie growing up, if I recall. I've also seen ADGTH, but it somewhat scared me at the time. I had no idea that such a sweetie had lend her voices to Ducky and Anne-Marie...none of the sequels will ever hold a candle to them. Judy, I'm so sorry life was so bad for you, but I know your up in Heaven. When I was very little, I was in a similar predicament, but a loving couple took me in. The story truly broke my heart when I heard about it (just today) Judith was very talented, a blessing to my childhood as I grew up with such movies as the original Land Before Time and All Dogs Go To Heaven. I thought the character Ducky represented the perfect little girl, sweet attitude, and Judith's voice was very fitting for the part (I bet she was just as sweet and as adorable in real life as well) As for her father... I have so many names.. so many words that I cannot utter here, lest someone be offended. No man like that ever deserves such a brilliant daughter such as Judith.
