| Comments: | We’ve been living in our home for 16 months in Georgetown, Texas. My boyfriend and my 3 children also live in the home. We believe our house could be haunted, but don’t know much about the subject of paranormal activity. My boyfriend believes he has seen two different ghostly figures here. There is one bedroom that was originally occupied by my 14 year old son when we moved in. He never liked the room from the day we moved in. He always pushed the computer chair out of his room into the hallway every night before going to sleep. After about 6 months, he convinced my 12 year old son to trade rooms. Brandon, my 12 year old is very uneasy in the room, he sleeps with the TV on every night. He told me yesterday that his closet door was shaking. He has also seen an adult sized figure in his room, looking at his baseball trophies on his dresser. Last summer, he saw something while he was looking out the front window. We were having a routine typical summer night and our dogs started barking. He looked out to see if it was my boyfriend returning home from work because it was about the time he got home (9:30pm). When he looked out at the front drive, he saw an image move very quickly toward him from the road, almost up to the window. Brandon ran to me in the kitchen crying with eyes as big as saucers terrified at what he saw. My older 14 year old son saw a man’s figure walk by his bed and lay down, when he turned, it was gone. My daughter who is 9 has not heard the boys stories but will not go in the house after school when she comes home from school unless I’m home. If I’m not home, she waits on the porch only. My mom who lives in town went to pick her up when I couldn’t meet the bus. My mom informed me about a week later that she saw what she believes to be 2 orbs in the front left window when she was parked in the driveway. She didn’t know about our other stories, but believes in ghosts and wanted to share with me privately what she had seen. My mom is the person who advised I reach out to try to contact UT or some knowledgeable group to come investigate our home. Oddly, I myself have never seen anything, but my boyfriend freaked out a couple months ago coming to bed late at night, when he opened my door and saw a dark figure standing in my room by my bed. He said, “hey, is that you, or are you laying down? Please tell me that’s you?” Not a very comforting way to be woken up in the night. I would like someone to confirm if we have spirits living in our home, anything about them, and if there’s anything we can do to get them to move on or at least communicate to ask them to not scare the children. | Comments: | I worked at the Gran Crystal Palace from 1985 to 1986...It was a dinner theatre then and I sang in several of the shows and waited on tables... Our dressing rooms were upstairs and none of us like being there alone... there were many times that we felt a presence along with cold air... we also saw many shadows and always had that feeling that we were being watched..it was a little scary but really exciting... I loved being there!! |

Several thousand years ago there were thousands of slaves that were building two cities. They ran off around the world and started their own countries. | Comments: | I rode my motorcycle to Belles Landing a Bar on the banks of the Brazos River in East Columbia.2 weeks ago. As soon as I walked into the building the hair on both my arms stood straight up and felt like cob webs,this lasted for approx 10 to 15 min. I showed several people this.. Today 11/20/2011 i went there again. I parked my bike under the trees approx. 200 ft.from the building. as soon as I got off my bike the hair on both my arms stood straight up again,it felt like it had cob webs on it,then started to itch, this lasted for 10 to 15 min. | Comments: | My story is very short but it Did happen to me when I was driving to work one morning. I live in New Home Texas, well outside of town about 7 miles south of New Home and I work in Lubbock Tx and the easiest way to work is right through New Home and then it turns into Slide Rd. I passed the intersection of 41 rd and slide and just as I passed the Church which was Slide Baptist Church for many years! I was driving and I saw a Big Black figure right in the middle of the road! This figure was very wide and very black and had a big hat on the hat was flat and wide (it was still dark outside as it was about 6:30am) and I saw it right in the middle of the road and I freaked and stomped on the Breaks of my car and scooted to the side some and as I did this figure just faded away in to pieces weird!!!! I stood there for a moment and realized that I had just seen something and it wasn't a real person of any kind! Oh my goodness I was so spooked and wondered what the Heck was that?? That was about 2-3 weeks ago and I pass through there every morning and haven't seen it again but I know I saw it plain as day and the way it just vanished!!! Weird!! |

| Comments: | My girlfriend told me the story about a spirit that she used to see as a child. She said that it was mostly just in a shadowy form, but she could make out a long, duster-type coat and long dark hair...she actually said he resembled the WWE wrestler The Undertaker. All of the women in her family can see spirits; my gf's "gift" isn't as acute as theirs (she can usually just feel a presence but rarely sees an actual form). Her mom and sister both said that they saw the same form when they were younger, but none of them ever felt threatened by him. They tend to think that it was a guardian spirit. The figure showed up again after her niece was born, but was absent when her nephew arrived.
My gf said that she later searched the internet for information about this spirit. She managed to find other reports people seeing him and they were all either women who say him during their childhood or parents with young daughters. No one has ever reported feeling threatened by his presence. My personal attitude towards ghosts is "You don't mess with me, I won't mess with you, and we'll all get along fine." Has anyone else seen this? |

The 3000 block of Louisiana may just be Houston’s most haunted block. Strange occurrences have been reported by residents and employees for years, yet the area remains unrecognized among Houston’s more active centers for paranormal activity, such as La Carafe and Spaghetti Warehouse. There have been countless accounts of hearing eerie girlish laughter, howling winds (even on still nights), distant screams and the frequent appearance of a female spectral form. For some reason, appearances of the female spirit seem to be centered on the High Fashion Fabrics building, with fewer reports coming from the restaurant that shares the same block. Eyewitness accounts are difficult to find, but here is the strangest one I’ve been able to dig up. “(Name and employer withheld) was working late one night in early September. When she got in her car, she glanced in the rearview mirror and swears she caught a glimpse of a woman sitting in her back seat. When she looked again, she was gone. As ghost stories go, it’s pretty standard. Where it gets really odd is that when the young lady turned on her defroster, the window fogged to reveal the words “Tell him I’m sorry” written in the windshield. Even creepier? When she reached up to touch the glass where the writing appeared, it wiped off—as if it had been written on the inside of the windshield, not the outside.” Granted, distant screams in Midtown are not uncommon. But howling winds on still nights? Spectral female entities lurking in your back seat? That’s a little spooky, especially when you consider the area’s history. I’m not sure what this place was before High Fashion Fabrics moved in, but records indicate the current structure was built in 1950. Not much information exists prior to that, but the area bound by Smith, Louisiana, Anita and Rosalie streets is believed to have originally belonged to the McIlhenny’s, a prominent family from Houston’s early history. Many point to the fact that the streets Anita and Rosalie are named after Samuel K. McIlhenny’s daughters as proof. Some even speculate that the family home, known as The Gables, once stood on this block. Recent utility excavations in the area revealed wooden foundation beams dated to sometime between 1850 and the turn-of-the century, which appear to corroborate this claim. All I know is that the history of the area, combined with the tragedy that befell the McIlhenny family, come together in that rare mix of time, place and loss that seem to be at the heart of every convincing paranormal occurrence. It all started innocently enough. It was September of 1900 and it had been a brutally hot summer in Houston (nothing new there). Eva McIlhenny and her husband Samuel were discussing taking their daughters, Anita and Rosalie, to the family beach house in Galveston to escape the city’s sweltering heat. According to newspaper accounts of the tragedy, Samuel was against the idea from the start, saying that the girls had “lingered too long in summer’s frivolity” and needed to begin preparation for the rapidly approaching school season. Eva, citing the “infernal heat and humidity,” argued with Samuel, ultimately disobeying her husband’s demands and taking the girls to the coast against his wishes. This would prove to be a fatal mistake for the women of the McIlhenny family. The date was September 8, 1900 and Mrs. McIlhenny had no way of knowing that a monstrous hurricane—a storm that would prove to be the deadliest in U.S. history—sat brooding in the Gulf of Mexico, poised to make its fatal strike inland. Sadly, Eva, Anita and Rosalie McIlhenny were lost to the Great Storm of 1900, along with 8,000 other souls. No one knows the exact reason why Samuel did not accompany his family to the coast. Perhaps he was angered by Eva’s defiance and wanted to make a statement. Maybe he had business to tend to. Either way, he never saw his family alive again. A quote from a recent article states that “…Mr. McIlhenny was so distressed about the death of his beloved family members that he wanted to name streets after them. So Anita and Rosalie were so honored by having streets named after them. I do not know why he did not give Eva a street.” We can only speculate that he never named a street after Eva because he blamed her for the loss of his only daughters. Maybe the fact that he never forgave her, or at least blamed her for their death, is what draws the spirit of Eva McIlhenny back to this spot time and time again. |

| Comments: | In August I captured on a digital camera a horrifying image of what appears to be a demon on a rail car in the Galveston Railroad Museum. I have since researched demons and the harm they can do, and I am extremely concerned for my well being, as well as that of my two young sons, who were with me when the photo was taken. We walked right through it afterwards, and we have on many occaisions gone back and closely looked at the photo. I am concerned that in doing so we may have opened ourselves up to the influence of whatever is captured in the photograph. Well on july 17 at 4:17 in the morn ya know the time lol well lets start for the begaining Well i lost my house and moved in with my mom and we got into it and it about 330 am i was so made i decided to take a walk i walk about 1/2 down my road close to port o call by the school and i was just walking and thinking then i seen head lights and looked up and seen a ladie run the stop sign and i was like wtf lol and keep my head up and soon about 50 yards infront of me i seen like fog mist start come out of a gate (a gate thats just there no road no house just woods like a trail) and im thinking were getting fog but once it all came out in a human shape i was like what the hell and stared at it whiped my eyes and shook my head thinking im seeing things ...well i was but it was real it stared to crose the street taking baby steps not floting walking lil and i just stoud there looking with goosebimumps all over my body like i was froozen still she move moved her head back and forth slowly and you could make out it was a lady wearing a early 1900 dress she had a glow in the stomick area well the crazy part is she never looked at me she keep stairring at the woods across the street while she was walking over there once i snapped into it i took of running home scared as hell every street light i went under turned off and once i was home i just fell on the couch and stared to cry and told my mother i seen a dead laidy she believe me just cause of the nabor hood look my nabor hood up promise crazy stuff hapoen like i said im 4 miles away from poppets way witch is the srmtreet the movies about and unsolved mysteries what im asking for is an investgation on my naborhood just to see what thwy want crazy things have stared now and will not stop i need a answer to be in peace |

I'm Christina and have a problem with creepy things happening in my home. 1) The box with our dogs ashes has a lock on it. It's always closed. No one touches it, ever. And lately we've been noticing that the lock has been unlocked and almost off the box. 2) At night if you are in the kitchen (usually alone) you can hear foot steps when no one is around/awake. 3) At night if you are in any of the downstairs rooms you feel like you're being watched. 4) It was tonight, 8/3/2011 that we heard a rather loud crash in the kitchen area, several times. We went to find out what it was, nothing was moved, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. 5) We have fans in our living room and one night we were sitting on the couch and the fan went to full blast to off. No one had touched it and nothing happened to the electricity. 6) One night as I was sitting on the couch I suddenly heard a heavy breathing in my ear and felt a warm breath on my neck. I was the only one awake. 7) If you are in the Megan's you can hear a tapping coming from Maxwell's room when he is not in it. 8) When everyone is asleep or downstairs you can hear walking coming from the upstairs rooms. 9) One night as I was laying on the couch I went to walk to the kitchen and saw a dark shadow that looked as if it was crawling from the kitchen entry to the laundry room. The house was built some time during the 1970's. As you have read we would really we have really had some experiences and we would really appreciate answers or have your team investigate our house. | Comments: | I am trying to contact someone to investigate my house. me and my family moved into this house three years ago. since we moved in i have heard foot steps upstairs doors opened that were shut closed tight and my girls have told me they have had a man sit with them every night watching t.v. Also I have seen him as well. I was showering a few weeks back and i saw something out of the corner of my eye when i looked i noticed him watching me shower he then turned and proceeded to use the restroom like he was still alive. Not to mention he climbed into bed with me and i felt him. the spirits do not scare me i have dealt with stuff like this since i was a kid. but they scare my children and they seem to mess with my step daughter. When we bought the house we were told the guy that owned it had passed away. as far as i know he did not pass in the house, but he lived in this house and had a hand in building it. so he may be attached to the house itself. the way my kids act have changed, my son has become more angry and he has gotten dark circles under his eyes. my youngest she has always been so sweet and lately has become very mad and easily angered. | Comments: | Okay. I am going through a divorce and recently moved back into my mothers house. I have been staying in her office, which is an open area to the living room and kitchen. About 4 weeks ago, I hung up a picture of my Peepaw and I above my dresser, and since then strange things have been happening.
Every night, I get "visits". They start around 11 pm. Every night ,it sounds like someone is coming through the dog door, which is locked every night (a loud BANG like someone is kicking it), walks through the kitchen and messes with the dog food and bumps the water bowl. As it moves into the office, we hear papers rustling and bumps. Then it will stop until I lay down in bed. About an hour of being in bed, it will start again. It has thrown books off of my bookshelf, moved light boxes, and shifted picture frames. I have also heard it fidgeting with the TV that is unplugged next to my bed. It sounds like it is trying to turn the TV on. I also hear it in the front of the house. Kind of like it is checking on my niece and son. I have doors creaking and a few times it sounds like someone has dropped marbles (we have wood floors) and have heard a few of my sons toys move and play music. It has also tried to open the front door and then sounds like it has kicked that too. The bangs and noises have been getting louder and louder. It is to the point that it is scaring my mom and step-dad as well as myself. When I am in bed, I shut my eyes really tight and try to ignore it. I have tried telling it to stop because it is scaring me and told it to leave. A few times, we have had to put my dog in a different room because she will just sit on my bed barking and growling. I have gotten out of bed and looked around the house, checking the doors to make sure they are locked and they are. I have also looked for rodents and have found no signs of them. I have found some dog food pieces behind furniture and in the corners but, like I said, the dog bowls are in the kitchen. We gate them in to eat, so my son can't bother them while they eat (toddler). We are really creeped out and just want some answers. What should we do? |

| Comments: | Back in 1991, my husband & I bought our first house, which was located on Main Street in Crandall, Texas. The house was built by the Rev. C.F. Crandall and was named after him, after he generously donated a large portion of his land to the Texas Trunk Line, which was later bought by Southern Pacific. It was the railway and cotton crop that finally landed Crandall on the map in the year 1900.
By the time the house hit the market, it had already sat abandoned for several years and during this time, had suffered a lot of neglect & defered maintenance, so we immediately hired contractors and began major renovations. Once the renovations were complete and we moved in, we began hearing the unmistakeable sound of footsteps walking up and down the long corridor of the home and what sounded like the utility room door, opening & closing. In addition, pictures would sometimes fly off of the walls and every once in a while you would catch a shadow out of the corner of your eye, which appeared to be kneeling and peaking around doors. One afternoon, I was doing dishes in the kitchen and had placed my 7 month old son in his high chair, behind me. I had given him a teething biscuit to keep him occuppied while I did my chores, when all of a sudden, I heard three loud stomps on the kitchen floor. The stomps were so strong that the kitchen windows rattled. When I turned around, I was fully expecting to see that my husband had returned home from work early and was playfully trying to get my attention. To my horror, I turned to find my baby choking. I was able to remain calm enough to successfully dislodge the teething cookie from my son's throat and after consoling him (and myself), I realized that had it not been for the stomping on the floor, I may not have turned around in time. I thanked whoever or whatever it was that was responsible for saving my son's life and took comfort and was never really bothered anymore by the other stuff that was going on. Several years later, when my husband & I began discussing selling the home, is when the physical and psychological attacks began. These attacks were focused directly on me and no other member of my household and they took place while I was sleeping, or rather in a state between the conscious and unconscious level. Its very difficult for me to try and describe to someone what exactly happened during one of these attacks, but I can tell you that it was beyond terrifying. Each time one of these attacks occured, I would wake with scratches down the center of my back that were very similar to the kind of scratches that one might expect from a cat. There is no way that these scratches were made by anything human!! We finally sold the house in 1998 and didn't feel it neccessary to discuss any of this information with the new buyers, as it would probably have only scared them off and I was already at my breaking point. Several years later, I would return to the house, mostly out of curiosity. I saw a man in the yard and recognized him as being the same man that we had sold the house to. After circling the block a couple of times, I finally got the nerve to stop. I introduced myself and asked him if he had experienced anything out of the ordinary and he said, "a few things", but didn't seem willing to go into any sort of detail. Of course, I knew exactly how he felt, since I was also very reluctant to discuss something that is this sensitive of a nature with anyone, except those who knew me well enough to know that I wasn't crazy. Shortly after this visit, I was sitting in the bathroom of my house in Arlington, with my toddler, who was potty training, at the time. I was reading her a book, when we both noticed that the toilet paper that was on the roller, slowly began to roll downward. My daughter and I both looked, but it stopped and we thought nothing more of it and went about what we were doing. The next thing you know, the toilet paper began spinning very fast, as if someone were continually pulling on it, until every bit of toilet paper on the roll, was on the floor. Not long after this incident, my husband & I had settled into bed and he had set the alarm clock, like he always did and we drifted off to sleep. No sooner than we fell asleep, the alarm went off. My husband fidgited with it for a few minutes and we went back to sleep. Once agin, the alarm went off. This happened about four times and it was happening at random intervals, as opposed to the nine minute snooze intervals. Finally, we were both so frustrated that we decided to just unplug the clock, altogether. Once again, we fell asleep and this time, instead of the alrm clock going off, our home security alarm went off. "Trajectory in nursery", it said. We both got up and investigated, but the house was locked up tight and there was no sign of an intruder. On another night, I woke to a bright light shining in my face; my closet light had been turned on, but my husband was asleep next to me and the only other person in the house, at the time, was our toddler, who was sleeping soundly in her crib. I was very freaked out by this and woke my husband, telling him, "There's someone in the house and I think they've got our guns!" He got a golf club and we both got up to take a look around, but once again, nothing! One afternoon, I was sitting in the middle of my office/guestroom floor. I was going through a box of old documents and was shredding everything I no longer needed, when the ceiling fan, which was on, fell from the ceiling and was dangling only a couple of feet over my head by nothing more than a wire. This was no coincidence and my husband could not offer me a logical explanation as to why it would have done that and especially at the ONE time I was sitting beneath it. I believe the last occurence was one morning when my husband had stepped out of the shower and the mirror on the wall across from him, shattered and came flying toward him. My husband suffered several cuts from this and once agin, no logical explanation. If the mirror was going to break, it would fall where it was and not 3 feet across the room. Furthermore, the acrylic things that screw into the wall and hold the mirror in place, were all in tact. That was the last we heard of our ghost, thank God!! We did sell that house, as well, but it was completely unrelated to the brief period of time that we experienced activity there. Whatever it was, was already long gone and we have been enjoying a peaceful existence, ever since. |

The night he called me at my mothers home and told me, I had gone home and started working on my computer. I use a partial laptop that has no screen, so the "screen" is a 26 inch television. (s-video cable)
Whenever I turn it off, it always flashes real brightly for a second before going off. While I was working, I was listening to Creed in the background on the computer as well. I decided to call it quits for the night and went to turn off the T.V., and usually close my eyes so I don't have to see the flash. I didn't quite make it and got some off the flash, and for a split second I saw an Image of my son's mother when I closed my eyes. (I still had the computer on playing the music, I just turned off the monitor). When I thought I saw an Image of her, I kind of chuckled to myself and said "I wonder if she could ever visit me like that?" and as soon as I said that, the music stopped, and crackled a bit...then a program called "The Radio Mystery Theatre" started to play a story about the "Incident at Owl Creek Bridge"...an occurance during the civil war. (We had lived in Nashville while together,and she always told me about all the stuff that happened around there during the war, as she had grown up there and knew alot about it all). I have over 500 hours of the "Radio Mystery Theatre" program on my computer, and to make that particular show start to play I would have had to turn on the monitor, close out the Creed file and go to my RMT files, open it up and search through the 500 different shows to find it, then open it up in the Player. I didn't do that, it just started to play by itself. I wasn't sure what my son thought about the paranormal, so when I called him the next day, I wasn't sure if I should say something like that so soon after her passing, so I just casually asked what his take was on ghosts and the paranormal. He said he believed strongly in it all, and said that his Mom had visited him just last night. I told him about my experience and he kind of got quite, then said "Dude, that is so cool! You know, she never stopped loving you. I quess she wanted to say hi and bye" Rest in Peace Deborah Renee Lord! You deserve it. Michael |

| Comments: | My husband and I moved to this house in a small subdivision off FM 517. Just down between the High School and HWY 146. When we first moved there all was fine and safe. Well it was not long one spirit showed himself to me. He tryed to hurt me and my husband, I had finally had enough of him that I went got holy water, a large white candle and some sage. I burned the candle and sage as I prayed over my home I blessed it with the holy water. Well he either left the home or he desided to be good so he could stay. A word of advice to all out there that are dealing with this kind of activity. Try and remember the more afraid you are the more power you give them. If you do not feed them fear they can not take power over you. I know it is easier said then done. I still have ghosts infact 3 of them are cats. My husband did not believe they were there till one day the gray tabby brushed his leg I was gone or asleep don't remember which now, and our cats were put up and not let out yet well he saw him and watched him disappear before his eyes. Yea it is freaky but we both see ghosts, I feel them and sometimes when they ask me to I will help them cross over. My husband does only see from time to time. Me I see, feel and hear them. |

| Comments: | I lived in Katy, TX. I am married with one child. I bought my house in 2003 and I am still occupying the house till now. Strange things has been happening in the last year, In the middle of the night I will wake up and feeling something is pushing my stomach to wake me up. This occurs almost 3 times a week and I thought that I was just having muscle spasm. Last year, 2010 I installed a security camera focusing on the front yard driveway because I want to observe why my car ending up with scratches or I am suspecting it was being vandalize. The security camera has a night motion sensor capability. Recently the sensor will go off and we’ll wonder why it will go off even though there were no people outside.
One evening I was laying in bed, my wife is next door to my child room. Then I noticed an almost like a person figure walking in the bedroom. It was a faint figure like a smoke. I did not pay attention because it was not something I would entertain anyway. Then I fell asleep and the next thing happen is like something is pushing me out of the bed. I felt like at first something is pulling me then slam me in the bed and my mind will wake up but not fully awake then another of this kind of pulling and pushing will happen then I fully wake up and realize this is really happening and I woke up something happen to me. Before this incident was happened, I have a friend that died last 2009- He is a friend but never I will consider a closed friend. I never attended his funeral. I don’t know if this is related to what I have been experiencing. My thought was that he is upset and reminding me off why I never attended his funeral. But really we were never a close friend. I couldn’t think of anything else why I would be experiencing something like this to me. Lat night it happened again, I was sleeping and felt that someone had pick me up and slam me on the bed. I woke up and a bit scared because it was almost a real thing that happened to me. So, I called my wife to join me in bed then next thing happen we heard this creaking noise it was like something is climbing on the TV stand in front of the bed, and why it creep like that even though there were no wind or anything that would cause it to creep is beyond me. Sometimes I felt something is pinching me and will wake up wondering what that was. I do not have any explanation on this situation happening to me but I know for sure it is real and I am experiencing this first hand. I am no stranger to paranormal activity due to the fact I grew up in a haunted home. However, the difference in that house and my current home is the fact that my old home was haunted by an evil spirit. Whatever we are experiencing now does not give off a bad vibe and I for one am not afraid. I am very curious though. I plan to research the history of my property and home this week but, I wanted to let you guys know before hand. These are some of the things my fiance and I have experienced: The sound of the keys on our computer's keyboard tapping , the sound of the computer chair creaking, the sound of glass breaking heard by my mother and fiance at two separate occasions. There is a certain area in our back room where the entrance to the attic is that our cat stares at and meows and, also, our baby niece would stare at that area as well. A few days ago, I was in my living room playing Xbox with my brother inlaw and the front door knob turned as if someone was about to walk in. My brother inlaw asked me if I was expecting anyone to which I replyed no. I proceeded go open the door and found that no one was there. This happened again just last night but, it was my fiance and I that heard it this time. We are Christians and we believe in the power of Holy Water so, I have personally blessed the house from top to bottom twice. As I have already stated, we do not believe it to be an evil entity but, we also do not want it here. The mother and sister both died here, and the mothers ashes still remain in this house. When I first moved in 7 years ago,I was in the office cleaning up ( where the ashes are). I figured the ashes would be safe in the dresser while I cleaned. As soon as I stuck the box into the drawer i was attacked very hard and fast by the mother. Very heavy weight on my chest. Felt like she was trying to get into me. i was frozen, and then ran. It wasn't until a few minutes later, when my freind removed her ashes out of the drawer that she let me go. it was a horrible feeling. left me weak for hours after that. Recently I have been talking of selling the house and the spirits here are getting stronger and, I think, mad at me. About 2 months ago I was letting my dogs out back through the sliding glass door when I looked up and the image reflected into my living room was a woman in a white gown just floating by the couch and disappeared at the kitchen doorway.....Freaked me out. I believe but it still shakes me to see it. I also see shadows in doorways and just last night I was at my kitchen table and someone, or something(spirit) whispered in my ear...it was a "pssst'...I could feel the breath on me. I ran into my living room to get my dogs, who, by the way, didn't even bark this time...normally they do. I was freaked out and wanted to shut everything down and just get to my bed and be safe under my covers. When I went to unplug my christmas lights I noticed half of the string was blinking on and off...My lights are not blinkers, so this stumped me.this morning when I turn them back on, they are back to normal. This ghost is getting stronger here and coming frequently now. I wish she would go away somedays. My friends must think i'm a freak telling them these stories. I also had a visit this wek from my father who died in 2001.Christmas was his time of year and he ad his favorite music. I was decorating and said out loud..."Dad I wish you could sit next to me and whistle your songs. No one else whistles as beautiful as you did". Two nights later I was sitting on the couch watching tv and out of nowhere I hear whistling coming down my hallway, walk right by me, very loudly and into the kitchen where it disappeared...it was also a mans voice. I'm sure it was father. Strange how things happen in life. I have always had ghosts around me in different houses throughout the years, but this female ghost here freaks me the most. I've got about 5 videos just on my room and I think that one of them actually has an imprint in them from something that just happened to my daughter by my younger brother. Ever since he found out that I knew what he did to her all HELL has broken lose and now it seems that the shit has literally hit the fan. I do believe that my brother has alot to do with it. The priest I talked to said that I was right and to keep praying to God but they still hang around no matter how much Holy Water I use. Please contact me because I do have my 4 yr old daughter that is involved and we both may be in great danger and there's no point in running (even though we have no where to go) because they follow us anywhere and everywhere.

we just bought a brand new house in brand new neighborhood in League City right by Kemah. since in the 6 months we"ve lived here I have felt somrthing touch me and wake me up while sleeping, my husband and I both have heard the same noises at same time and both hear someone say Mommy while two of the kids were asleep and the other said it wasnt her. our gate has been mysteriously opened and both dogs got out. and we just found out that we arent the only ones in the neighborhood that that has happened to. just some weird things around the house. i guess my question is can a neighbothood be haunted? i did research in my area and kemah and league city was where Indians lived long ago. and an indian burial ground was found in kemah long ago. i dunno but im just wondering why were not the only people on the street expierencing some things. thanks |

She told me at about age 5 that she saw a "golden glow" around my aunts dog and he passed away a few minutes later! And when she was little she used to claim to play with my late father in our back yard. Should these things be checked out farther? Other strange things have happened, such as jewelry packed away in a storage barn turning up in jewel boxes in the house, and my mom had a gold chain turn up on her bed which no one knew where it came from, she had never seen it before, and no one had been to visit us. |

I like this aspect as i wanted to be far enough away from houston but close enough to have fun. I lived at my sisters when i first got here and slepted in their spare room.One night i had been asleep for about 2 hours when i felt something brushing across my lips and that woke me up. i got up thinking that the cat was in the room and was going to run him out. A intesne search reveled he was not in the room.I went back to bed and it was only this time a short time and it happened again. I am not crazy i said to myself and once again found no trace of anything in the room.
The next morning i asked my sister about it and recieved a strange look as she said you meet the ghost her. What i asked . Yea she said we think that there is a small girl that lives here.she said they think that as the touch is always real light.Fast forward two or three years later and several adventures later a new family moved up the street from where i live noe which is next door to my sister a lady not knowing about my contact with that spirit and a couple of others it the area reported seeing two children a small girl and a small boy playing in their house. She went to her priesrt and got a candle and was advised to burn it . this worked as the next time she saw them they were playing out in the yard. |

Then I started to hear someone call my name like in my ear, but I couldn't tell if it was a man, or a woman, I also heard a little girl sigh like if she was in a lot of pain, that was really scary because it was really clear and loud. All of the sudden those things quit happening, it stoped for quite a few months, but then one day I started hearing the footsteps again, another day I saw the cabbinet door open by itself, on a different day I was going to hang up some clothes that I had on my bed, so I whent in the closet and got some hangers out and as soon as I was walking back to my bed the closet door slammed shut behind me. The T.V. volume goes all the way up all of the sudden, the lights would also turn on by themselves, I would also hear loud noises like something big had fallen, and when I would go check to see what it was, I couldn't find anything, and that would happen quite often. My blinds would move on their own, without me having the windows open or any kind of breeze that could hit it. I could go on and on. I am a single mother, I have a daughter that's 10yrs old, and I'm afraid that this is going to keep escalating. I'm afraid for my daughter. I need to get whatever is in my house out of there. I can see something in the air which is light gray color with different forms and shape. then they move and become different forms; become bigger away from me and form into different shapes with speed circling around the sky. There are things talking to me and they are fully understand what i m doing by speaking it out then others will do the same. it's like a series of non-stop that stick together. | Comments: | This story really happened to me in San Antonio. I am desperately searching for anyone who may have lived in that place as well.
A few years ago, the Seven Oaks Apartments on 5903 Danny Kaye Drive used to be the Rancho Mirage. We lived upstairs in 1102 or 1103. Overlooking the pool and laundry area. For the longest time things were fine. Then one day my husband asked me if I keep seeing shadows passing by in the hallway. I told him that I didn't, and frankly I thought he might be out of his mind. Until one day. That afternoon, pregnant and all, I tried to take a nap. As I lay down in bed I suddenly felt an enormous energy pushing down on my belly. It felt as if someone was lying on top of me. I could not move the entire 30 seconds it seemed to last. Suddenly "it" was gone. I knew instantly it was a spirit of some sort, and not my hormones playing tricks on me. This happened again the next day, but my husband and I didn't talk about it any further. A couple of time, a magnet kitchen timer we kept on the freezer door, fell to the floor. It ended up in one piece right be edge that separated the hallway floor from the kitchen floor. I brushed it off as a coincidence, until the second and third time it ended up at the exact spot. A few days after those events, I was sitting on the living room floor, putting my hair up in hot rollers. As soon as I pulled up a section of hair, I felt a force of energy brushing through it. Needles to say, I did not finish styling my hair. A weeks or so later, I was lying on the couch watching TV, when the wooden dish we kept and a small table by the front door fell to the floor. This did it. I was tired of our invisible tenant messing with me. I screamed " Get out, now. This is my home now". So for the last 6 weeks in that apartment we didn't have to deal with "it". |

| Comments: | WE NEED YALS HEEEELLLP!!!! ok this is whats up. i can never find stuff that i put in a location that i know i have put my stuff there. its always in a different spot by morning like my key, wallet and watch and phone.. we hear strang things at night. i live in an apartment so i shrug most of it off. but lately there is voices of a woman from inside my apartment when nobody else is home. just yesterday morning my wife actually witnessed something trying to get to our bathroom by jiggling and fighting to get the door handle open as if the door is locked. but its not!we have a guitar mounted on the wall and my freinds and myself have heard it strum while watching tv. it resets the alarm on my alarm clock and the time all the time! we have photos of childs foot prints in the carpet infront of my room mates door as if a child was standing there starring threw the cracks. we have photos! our photos contain orbs. only one unique one! the middle of it is hallow. just last night i had a dream of a female ghost. i could see in my dream what it saw. in my dream the ghost would touch me (like i dreamt i was sitting on the couch and something would touch me) and i actually felt somone touch my arms and legs! i have a lil girl that sleeps in my room she is just a baby. when she was first born her bassonet was electronically controlled. but no bateries in the remote. the my daughter cooed as if someone was standing there. THEN THE MUSIC AND LIGHTS TURNED ON BYTHEM SELVES ON HER BASONETTE, THE MOBILE WAS TRYING TO SPIN BUT IT WAS LIKE SOMEONE WAS HOLDING IT PREVENTING IT TO SPIN. she was calm though. some one heelp us! |

I photographed a historical event in the chapel one night and a period Texas soldier appeared over a re-enactor of the Spanish Colonial era. The photograph has sense been stolen. The event was always in December. I looked through all the photos and did not photograph any character who could even remotely resemble a farmer in flaxen clothing and panama type wide brim hat. | Comments: | In 2006, We moved to Lewisville, Texas to the Camden West Apts.
Later that same year, our daughter was born. Several weeks after her birth, I had been working all night on the spare room to get it ready for her to start sleeping in there...(she slept in our room so we could hear her if she woke up). Early in the morning hours, I was taking a final load of stuff to the dumpster and found that someone had put an antique desk out there to be hauled off. Once I got a good look at it, I sighed reluctantly, knowing I was going to be up the rest of the night toting it in the house piece by piece.(It was HUGE) I finally got all the pieces in, even having to dumpster dive for some of the smaller parts. Once I got it assembled, I was in awe. It was massively impressive. almost immediately weird stuff started happening. Our daughter would stare at stuff over our shoulder with this weird look on her face like she was puzzled or wasn't sure if she should be scared or not and sometimes would be laughing and giggleing and abrubtly stop and frown while staring over at the desk. One night I was up after feeding her and laying her back down and wanted to play around on my guitar, which I had set up inside the desk. As I was playing, I could hear children laughing and playing and thought, "Man, that sounds cool with the music" and thought I should record it before they go back in...then I realized..."Man, It's 3:00 a.m.- theres no kids out there playing at this hour" so I put the guitar down and went outside to check. Sure enough, no kids. I shrugged it off and went back in and went to sleep. As days went by, more bizarre things occurred. I usually tried to stay up all night to be up if she woke up needing us, and would take the baby monitor outside with me when I went to smoke. While I would be standing there smoking and listening to her breathe, I would start to hear noises over the monitor like drawers opening and closing, papers shuffeling and the like and would go inside thinking my "wife" had awakened and was rumaging through the desk. Once inside, I would find everyone asleep and it all quite as a church mouse. I would go back outside to finish my smoke and it would soon start up again. I would go back inside to the same thing as before. Nothing. I even had a neighbor come out when I was smoking and he came over to smoke with me and chat and noticed the ruckus and said "Man, your wife sounds pissed" (the drawers would sound as if they were slamming shut)...I told him to follow me and led him in to the house to point out the sleeping wife and child in a silent house. Once back outside it would start up again. We went back and forth several times to prove to him it wasn't anyone in the house awake to make the noises. He finally just stood out there with me for quite awhile smoking and listening. Every time it would start, he would glance at me quickly and then just stare at the monitor with a perplexed look on his face. It didn't seem to be a menevolent(?) thing, so I just thought...."Wow, this is pretty cool" I mentioned it to the wife and she said she had heard stuff and had seen stuff and was leery of the desk. Then one day I had gone to my mothers in Dallas and while I was gone the wife said that she was laying down on the bed dozing while the baby slept in the crib a few feet away and thought she heard the front door open and close and thought I was back home, but when I never came into the room she started to doze again. As she closed her eyes she felt someone come in the room and walk past her (The bed was right next to the door) so she opened her eyes and no one was there, so she assumed that both times she had sort of "Dreamed it" in her dozing state. As she closed her eyes again something slammed into her elbow making her hand punch her in the face (Her head was kinda propped against her arm as she dozed) right then the baby screamed and jerked up and started crying histerically.She jumped up and grabbed the baby and went to the other room in the apt., to wait for me to get home. When I got home and learned what had happened, I thought "Cool no more-your outta here buddy" I took the desk back out to the dumpster piece by piece and destroyed every piece with a hammer and put it all back in the trash. We had no more occurrances (other than us seperating) Was this desk haunted or possessed? Definitely one of the two. | Comments: | My wife and I purchased our home approximately 2 years ago. Within the last 8 to 10 months, we started noticing "odd" things occurring. For instance, on multiple occassions, our daughter's (18 months old) toys would "go off" without someone activating them. Multiple toys would activate at or near the same time and at different locations within our livingroom. The last time this occurred, my wife stated "If someone is here, make the toys go off again..." Within seconds, some of the toys activated again. While my wife and I stared at each other in amazement, we overheard a long crash coming from our bedroom. We jumped up and ran to the bedroom. Upon opening the closet, we observed our closset shelf and all of our contents laying on the floor of the closet.
As time passed, we began overhearing what sounds like a young child's voice. Most of the time, this voice is overheard in our livingroom. When it's heard, neither me nor my wife can make out what is being said. It is as if the voice is in the room with us but it is muffled. Occasionally, we have also overheard what sounds like a grawl. I have spent many years as a police officer. I am of sound mind and so is my wife. Two years ago, I would have thought that this type of conversation is foolish. However, after experienceing things that I can not explain, I have a different view and believe that there is something happening in our home that I can not explain. Very few nights pass that we do not observe or hear something that we can not explain. Last night, our daughter woke up screaming. My wife went to her room, retreived her, and took her to the couch. After a breif time, she placed our daughter back into her bed. My wife then returned back to the couch. Within minutes, my wife (Sara) began overhearing walking in the kitchen and tapping or knocking on the walls and counter. This began to frighten her so, she came back to our bedroom. She never told me what had just happened. Instead, she got back into bed and laied down. After approximately 3 or 4 minutes, both Sara and I simutaneously raised up off of our pillows and looked towards the bedroom doorway. She and I both had overheard someone come into the bedroom. We both looked at each other. I asked he if she heard that. Sara answered "Yes, I heard someone come into the room." This startled both of us and it has pushed the both of us to becomming uncomfortable/afraid living in our own home. This may seem petty to some but, due to each of us hearing things frequently to the events that occurred last night, we are becomming uncomfortable in our home. Until last night, I had never told Sara about me overhearing sounds of footsteps coming fromt he kitchen and dinningroom. In short, there are two people experiencing the same unexplained events. Please help us find a "piece of mind" and reassure us that our two children are not at harm. Thank you. |

Her eldest Mike, told his mom about his new friend that no one else could see.He was 12 at the time and I thought he was too old for make believe friends. We came home one night and founf the kids locked in our bedroom. They said that Mike started downstairs with the other two kids following him. They saw a handprint appear on the back of his shirt and he nearly fell downstairs, as the hand pushed him. The younger two kids said they saw a demonic face appear as this happened. About two months later I woke up from a dream where I couldn't breathe. I woke up and thought "oh its just a dream". But I still couldn't breathe! It felt as if something was sitting on my chest. I tried to yell to my wife but couldn't make a sound.I turned my head to look at my wife and something snapped my head back, I couldn't move at all. I felt sheer panic and remained helpless for a few more minutes before I was suddenly released. I jumped out of bed, woke up my wife and told her everything. We performed a cleansing ritual soon after and had no more episodes. We also moved as soon as our lease was up! |

In the middle of a small suburb in Humble Texas lays a cemetery hidden from passers by. A half a mile long trail leads to a open field surrounded by trees and full of graves, some older than a hundred and fifty years. In the back there is a section solely dedicated to children, and another with almost unrecognizable markers. These are said to be the slaves of the family that are buried there. But the town of Humble isn't that old so i am not sure. I was about 17 when some friends of mine ask if I wanted to see a haunted cemetery. Of course I was so excited, till we got there. The strangest things began to happen immediately Sounds, movement in the bushes. I felt I was being cased by an unseen subject. In the area where the unmarked graves are there is a wooden cross, obviously put there by a patron, is all ways upside down and no matter how many times we fix it all ways ends up going back. I have even been back the next day to check it. The first of many experiences was the faint sound of 2-3 toddler age kids playing. First I thought is there a house close enough for us to hear kids playing, but it was 12:30am so I doubt it. That didn't bother me so much just mad me sad. But then we walked into the suppose ed slave graves and we all heard a really low sound that we thought said, get away from me or get away from hear. Those happened about 10-15 minutes apart. Then nothing but that watched feeling for 30 or so minutes then, it sounded like people rustling leaves or kids running kicking over piles of leaves all around us in the woods ,to me it felt like a scare technique rounding you out starting at the back then quickly to the middle, we couldn't back out fast enough. these are not animal like behaviors but, we flashed our lights and saw nothing. |

I myself am a paranormal investigator and I went in October with my mom as a "field trip" for my Diversity of Life class and we took several pictures. In one particular picture of the mirror right across from the special exhibition entrance there is a white figure of something we can't specifically identify. We looked from different angles to try and "debunk" it but we could not find anything the mirror could have reflected to make this apparition appear. Also in one of those cabins behind the Witte building I caught a glowing blue-green orb in the fire place and in two different shots you can see it and the second you can't. |

I used to take a shower and the shower curtain used to slap me so hard I would have to weigh it down with a shampoo bottle. I thought it was normal until my friend said it wasn't.I had a touch lamp that went crazy one morning,my ceiling fan went full blast after midnight(I know I have a baby who wakes up every 3 hrs.)it was a turn knob I would have to set back again.I still own this house and I just moved 2 1/2 months ago. There Paramedic told me she was awaken by someone grabbing her feet and holding them down. Another incident to where a supervisor was driving up piedras and saw someone in the garage bay walking around when the crew was on a call. She positioned herself across the street to where she had a visual on the front door and back door exits. She called for El Paso Police which they did a search and find nothing. Another crew member told of hearing foot steps in the bay where the ambulance was and he slided down the pole and could not find anyone. |

When I was stationed there different times I had some experiences from doors being slammed shut in the bedroom and being waken up in the night just before getting calls. I found out later this had been a morgue and a hospital in the earlier days. Check it out! |

| Comments: | The "gift" has been passed down generation to generation through all of the females in my family. My mother first noticed my gift when I was 3 yrs. old. I had a dream that came true about her friends house being set on fire. The earliest memory I have was during a time when I was having night terrors at the age of five. I remember seeing dark translucent human figures walking around at night. Of course, at the time I had no idea what they were... my interpretationMy mother said that you could clock me, every night at midnight I would sit up in my bed... eyes wide open with a look of terror... screaming at the top of my lungs, when she got to close to me I would begin fighting her. My experiences have come and gone throughout my life.
About a week and a half ago I started having really vivid dreams about a friend of mine every night for almost a week straight. I don't recall the content of the dreams but remember my friend, Ram, was in the them. The dream felt so real, I didn't feel like I slept at all. By the third night I started to get awaken at 3:00 AM... this happened three nights in a row. The third night scared the crap out of me because there was a huge thunderstorm rolling through... I was on the couch with my dogs... I dozed off while watching some t.v. I heard a loud crack that shook my house and made me jump to my feet instantly... it was as if lightening struck in my backyard. I was so startled that I checked the clock and it was 3:00 AM... again. It could have been coincidence but I believe everything happens for a reason. The reason I mentioned Ram... his father passed away the day after, which was last Thursday. I don't want to read too much into it but I think it was an omen. I haven't been woken at 3:00 AM since. I thought it was over but then last night while I was watching t.v. with my dogs around 11 PM I caught a glimpse of a dark shadow in human form out of the corner of my eye. I shifted my eyes to take a better look... it floated a few feet toward me and disappeared. I disregarded it and continued to watch my t.v. program. Approximately ten or fifteen minutes later I felt several spirits enter the room. There were four or five standing in between me and my t.v. standing in a crescent moon shape around me. There could have been more but I just stared at the ones in front of me. They were translucent with human outlines that seem to glow as if they were standing in front of the Sun. As they moved toward me I could feel an overwhelming cold. My legs were stretched across the ottoman in front of me and as they moved closer the cold moved from my feet to my calves. They stood shoulder to shoulder about two to three feet in front of me. I didn't feel threatened at all just started to feel a little claustrophobic. I have never experienced anything like this. I have seen apparitions before but only one at a time. I felt like I was sitting in front of an audience. They stood there for a good five to ten minutes... I didn't know what to do so I kind of pretended like I didn't see them and continued to look pass them as I watched my t.v. program. |

| Comments: | ever since i can remeber i have always been able to see sprits ghost demons and as well as hear them... im 23 now and it seems to be that i see them and hear them alot more.. the house i grew up in, in el paso texas. has always to me been a place of alot of the activity i have experienced for the sprits of children laughing and playing.. someone sitting in my bed waking up with scratches and brusies around my neck.. to the dreams or what i think are dreams of demonic sprits names being whisperd in my ears. to now seeing a shadow of a man walking through the house im living in now.. its creepy and yes some say i may just be going crazy but i see him and i know how u came about this house.. even though the house is only 4 yrs old and there are no reports of this mans death,, but the man is an old friend of the previous owners who was killed in an accident somewhere near the area.. cant explain how i seem to know this but have spoken to people who have came with out knowing anything and tell me what i already know bout the sprit. I would like to know some more about these places here in austin.. i would like to see and experience what austin has.. i guess im a little sensetive to the paranoral but i would like to put myself to the test.. im not claiming im a medium or anything of that sort but sharing what i have experience since i was a child growing up |

| Comments: | During the time when I was about seven years old my mom, sister and I would walk to my Aunt’s Bakery. Her bakery was called the Garcia’s Bakery we would walk from Zazamora street to Martin to go and help out. My mom would take us just so we could have something to eat. We were very poor and would eat every other day . So on the weekends we would spend a lot more time there. One particular morning we headed walking to the bakery and it was not hot and I was not tired. We remained there till the afternoon and by that time I was tired. We proceeded to walk back home and by this time it was “hot”. I did not have enough energy to catch up with my mom and sister and would constantly cry out “wait for me” but they continued to ignore me. I practically was crying out to them all the way through, sometimes I would see them laugh at me. That made me mad they would not wait I tried so hard to catch up. From a distance I could see my mom and sister disappear with the glare of heat from the hot sun on the sidewalk. This would make me cry out even more, I saw from a distance a black spot appear on the sidewalk. I was curious so I walked a little faster to see what it was. When it was in front of me I realized it was a black hole and I crept around it holding on the gate behind me. Then, all of a sudden these three black creatures with hoods grabbed my leg tight and I started “yelling and screaming”. I grabbed onto the fence and they were pulling me in I yelled out “mom help”. My mom and my sister rushed to back and cried out with a yell “what’s wrong” I cried “they got me” “their pulling me in, their pulling me in”. My mom looked down and yelled “who’s got you” I did not answer I just continued to kick and scream and hold onto the gate, so they would not pull me in. A man drove by and saw what was happening he got off to offer help but my mom declined. Mom tried to calm me down and my sister helped her take my hands off of the fence and mom carried me home. I remained in shock and my hands were as though I was still holding onto the fence. Once I got home my mom, sister and I ate some sugar cubes and I fell asleep. My mom described how I remained in shock, white and cold for a few days. She decided to go to the nearest church to ask for help and so a nun came to our house to bless me and give my mom some holy water to put around our home. My mom said after I was blessed and she put holy water all over I started to be myself and forgot about the whole incident. It was until I was about sixteen when I had this thought in my head and I wanted to confront my mom about it. We went out to eat with my family when I asked my mom. Her eyes looked shocked, she asked “What do you remember about it”. I told her what I saw and then she just confirmed how true my experience was. She describes how she had never been scared that bad in her life. She remembers when she carried me home she was always looking back to see if anything was after me again. She said some prayers on the way home and comforted my oldest sister cause she to was scared. She believes in prayer and holy water and continues doing this now. While for myself it was a relief to know it was not a dream or I was crazy it just makes me ask “Why me as a child?” or “Is there really a Hell”. It seems to me these entities, or creatures did not care about the age but maybe are empowered by the weak or innocent.

| Comments: | back in 2002, i was with my cousins from my mom's side of the family, and we were playing with a ouija board, and i had a yellow nissan suv.....we took the board with us 2:30 in the morning out to the back roads out in the country in victoria texas. somebody told us stories of a one lane bridge where some guy killed people and put their carcasses out in the middle of the one lane bridge.......well anyways, we found an actual one lane bridge out there in the back roads that fit the description of the story, so i drove through it with my suv, and i parked in the middle of the bridge, and i asked anybody if they wanted to get out and check out the bridge.......a girl with us and one of my cousins opened their doors to get out, and right then and there WE ALL HEARD from under the bridge "hey, what are you doing up there?".......so they flew back in the vehicle and i managed to get into drive and i floored it out of there.....i blame the ouija board for experiencing that, i do not play with crap like that anymore |

I was very frightened and all I could do was watch to see what it was going to do. It was so ugly and I watched it as it disappeared into the floor. I have also heared an infant crying in the middle of the night, I was invited by some children spirits to follow them, and I have also seen a native american ghost in my dad's bedroom one early morning. | Comments: | Dear Sir(s)/Ma'am(s): I want to tell you about a ghost hitchhiker that was passed down to me back in the 1980's, that a ghost hitchhiker comes out at around midnight just about everyday on a Farm to Market Road 181, (I believe) that is between the Texas towns of San Diego and Benavides. Supposedly if you are driving about halfway between the two towns that the hitchhiker appears inside the vehicle as the person is driving, and then disappears at a certain point. If you would like more info on this ghost story, it would be best to contact the City of Benavides or the City of San Diego, who would verify the story. |

| Comments: | As far as the Ghost face on the side of UTMB building: It is easy to view. You can drive along the outside of the fence and view it properly and will not get arrested. I have lived here for 8 years and always showed my friends the property. The story I have been told is that the land was owned by a man and told his family not to sell the land and when he did his face appeared on the building. It was sandblasted and the face re-appeared below and so forth. It is not "Demonic" it is said to be the face of the previous owner. Friends of mine have worked there and told me of how things have been moved around, doors and what not. It has been said that the face above the door is not to be removed in fear of the spirit escaping. |

| Comments: | hi, im not sure if you look into personal inquiries, but i lived in a house in galveston in 2001, we rented and signed a one year lease, and it was so bad that we left in three months. the owner told us stories of previous tenants, and how he had a hard time keeping renters there. everyone who lived there seemed to have strange luck, left town etc. we thought they were a bunch of bad tenants, until we moved there. we had the worse luck with everything, i lost both my cars in the Allison flood, all our animals were sick, we had a fly and flea infestation, and i would never go in the back room, after we moved there. i asked the previous tenants while they were moving out about the vibe in the house, and they said, "let me put it this way, its a great house" which i thought was a little strange. i had lived in a haunted house in college, and i thought, that it would be interesting. so many unexplained things happened there, i never actually saw anything, but the feeling i had there and my behavior was very out of character for me. when i was inside the house, i didnt want to go outside or go anywhere, and when i was gone from the house, like at work (which i called in sick more than i was there)i didnt want to go back there. there are so many more things that happened there. my husband thought i was just being dramatic, but then one morning when he got home from work, he heard footsteps on the hardwood floors. he worked the graveyard shift, and it was broad daylight, and he thought someone was in the house, so he got up and looked, and there was nobody there. im sure you hear so many of the same situations over and again, and im not asking for you to investigate, since we dont live there anymore and we only rented, i have just been trying to to research since we moved out, but i dont know where to start. the Rosenberg library has the historical records, and i know of the builder and the year it was built and the family who lived there, it is part of the historical homes in galveston, with a plaque,and it survived the storm of 1900.
